Default Auditioned today! Questions about keeping it a secret vs. having a website? Reply With Quote

Hello,
First of all, I'm glad I stumbled across this site! Nice to know there is some sort of support system surrounding this profession.

Anyhoo I just did my audition and first stage dance ever today. I'm surprised that I wasn't as nearly as nervous as I thought I would be! The club was small but cozy and everyone there seemed relatively cool. However I have a few questions for those that have been stripping for a while:

-Do your friends or family know that you strip? Did you tell them?

-Dio you have a website to gain more popularity?

-And...oh my gosh, the license fee here is a tad more expensive then I thought! The manager said I can't strip until I get it, though it would've been nice if I could do some stage work or something at least until I have enough. Hm -should I just go to a few auditions elsewhere where I might have a chance to get on stage and earn some money?

You might have to go to a whole new city or state to pull that off. Check with the clubs in surrounding cities to see what their policies are.

Some clubs will pay the fee for you so you can work to pay it back.
