He ALWAYS sleeps on his back like that.
I found him in the streets of the city when he was about 2 months old and took him in. He's grown up to be the best cat ever. He's sleeping soundly in my lap RIGHT NOW.
I also life with a HUGE white cat called Kitty, who belongs to the bf. Used to have 5 rats, too... but they're all dead now thanks to the short lifespan of rats. I really miss them. I know rats freak people out, but damn it, they were cute and friendly and intelligent little little things!
Hell, here's a picture in their memory:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/pixiewolfe/Personal/Rats/Ratties3.jpg
Yeah... two of them were hairless. Stanzie and Godiva. The others were Freya, Roue, and Riley.

Aww... Jean-Paul (who was pictured) kind of does too, although I haven't tried giving him a bath. And he was almost named Julius...

Ha, well as you can see in my post above, he sure does. It's one of his favourite places to sleep/play. I'm always finding small collections of hair ties and cat toys in there in the mornings - I guess he decided the sink is his personal treasure hoard.

These are from a pretty old 'photoshoot' around the house one day. I saw a cute cat mask at Claire's and..well, I had to put it to use somehow. I'm not proud. There were many other photos but these are the tame ones. I'm too shy...

Here is “Nottingham’
I don’t get to take him out much anymore because of his size but yesterday we had a bunch of our pets at an Easter party at a county club. The kids love him.

Is Nottingham albino?
He must be a couple hundred pounds.
Nope. One way of knowing is look at his eyes, they are black, most albino anything has red eyes.
I am not sure of his exact weight but I am guessing 60 pounds.

Rats are awsome! They're so smart and social. When I was a pet store employee I would always try to steer customers to rats rather than hampsters.
Ava, Snarky - Have you ever heard of rat shows? They're just like cat and dog shows.

Simone has now gone beyond simply reading SW with me, now she tries to crawl *into* SW through the monitor.

They are both smart and social! They both need to get cuddle time daily, or else they are all sad:'(
I haven't heard of rat shows! I doubt I could teach my boys much at this point--Basil's 3 and Thom's 2...although we tried to teach Bas how to walk on his back legs when he was a wee one.
Where do these magical shows take place?

WHOOHOO!!! I just came back to this thread and got to see cool rattie pics!! I LOVE the one of the rats napping, Snarky! Looks like they found a good spot :P.
I haven't herad of rat shows. I got Toki from the humane society. I bet they would have all the really unusual rats like the dumbos(big ears) and the hairless ones.
AWWWW! Simone is so cute Odysseus! My kitty likes to sleep on my tower and watch me type whilst I surf SW...in fact that is what he is doing right now :)
