Well I've only been dancing for a week (4 shifts total) and right now my "record" is $320 after tipping the dj, bartender, and bouncer. Not much to most probably, but for a newbie (and it being a Tuesday night) I am pretty proud of myself :)

$1000, during Saratoga track season.

I broke my previous record, and now the current one is $621 after tipout! Yay :D

I just read Jaizaine's post about making $2,100 and thought it might be kind of fun for everybody to post the most they've ever made in a night (after tipouts)! Might be kind of an inspiring thread for girls to read who are about to go into work.
I'll go first, $600, not very impressive, but I'm working my way up to the $1,000 club!
I can't help but wonder in which cities you girls, who are making +$1000 a night, work in.
I live SC and I don't even know if it's possible to make over $500 a night...

I live in Sacramento - work in Reno... average night is between $600-1000 and I only work weekends (Fri & Sat). Don't ask my what it's been like recently because Im going back this weekend after a 7 month hiatus.
AND that kind of money is selling VIPs. I get $400 per hour from them... So if I sell 3 hours + do some regular $20 floor dances after tip out I have $1,000.

I make at least $40,000 a night. But usually that's just because it's slow and I can only find time to do 200 CR's per evening. Workin my way up to the $50,000 club!

Congrats Winged! You will get there!
Thanks! Unfortunately, that night was followed by a streak of $50 nights, and one where I didn't make tip-out.
I guess it all evens out, but I'd almost prefer to have consistent $200-$300 nights rather than the exhilarating highs and ego-crushing lows.

Oh but haven't you heard? You can EASILY pull a mil a year in Vegas. That's where all the money is.
But in all seriousness - my average was $300 a night in Sacramento. I would never have pulled a grand here... I had to go to a bigger city with bigger clubs and bigger VIPs. Now i wouldn't work in Sacramento if my life depended on it.

^ Lol. At LEAST a million.
And yeah, as much as BritneyIreland drills into all of our heads that we can make a grand a night at any club (and bless her for her enthusiasm!) it seems like many clubs definitely have a ceiling far below that.
charlie61
04-28-2009, 03:21 PM
^ Yes--you're right. But all factors considered (regional, seasonal, number of customers, etc.) make my club nearly impossible to make that kind of money in. And I don't think my club is the only club like this.

Most I've ever made: $2200 after the stupid club took HALF of what I made. :( If I had been working anywhere BUT LA I would have walked with a little over $4000. But, then again, the person I danced for wouldn't have lived anywhere BUT LA, so there's the conundrum.
I made this last night at a club with no champagne rooms. They do have VIP areas or areas that they turn INTO VIPs for Fri/Sat nights. They don't have any hourly/half hour rate: instead, they just count every song you're back there for as a dance, even if you're not dancing, so they don't have to send the bouncers over to watch/check up and see if you're dancing. VIPs at the club I'm at GENERALLY mean extras, although I personally didn't do any (although there was a lot of TRYING to persuade me...which I let last as long as possible because even if the guy was trying to get me to do something I was STILL making money by just being back there).
It was awesome too, because the guy I danced for back there ended up tipping me an extra grand. :D
Prior to this, the most I had made was $930. So yeah, I more than doubled it! YEAH! I just spent the whole day shopping, although I only spent $200. The rest goes STRAIGHT to the bank account and some pays for bills that I had been lazy about. I wish I could say this was all because of my great marketing skills, but honestly, the cocktail waitress hooked it up for me because I guess the man wanted a "real girl" and me, being from the midwest, I guess was the closest, although honestly who is really "real" when they're at work? I made sure to take care of the cocktail girl well too, so hopefully she'll send more BIG BIG spenders my way.
That way, I don't really need to sell because honestly, I suck at it. I try but I really am not much good.

I didn't find it offensive. I found it tacky.
It should be motivating to hear what "best nights" other's in the business have had... It definitely makes me hopeful for a 2000+night! I've been almost there but never hit it.
Good luck to everyone! :)

Last night I hit $890 after a tipout of about $50 to the DJ! I was so proud of myself but wished I had pulled just one more extra dance so I could have been over the $900 mark ;) Ah well, motivation for tonight!

My best night has been around $600... I'm definitely the "weird newbie" at my club, even though I've been there 5 months. And I only work VIP, no stage. (The girls at my club get pretty good stage tips & show prices.)

^^^ Don't say that! You are still new to the industry. It can take years to learn the game. Chances are if you compared your earnings to other new dancers in your area, you would see that they are making about the same. Some of the dancers in this thread are posting numbers from before 9/11 and the dot com burst. Others are simply posting from before this recession began. You started dancing DURING the recession and that's really comparing apples to oranges.

Don't worry! I still have yet to break 300 and I've been dancing for almost a year :O Granted, I've been to only two clubs. One was a dive and I managed to make 300 there once, and then I moved to a less gross club but switched to dayshift, and have only made up to 300 there also. Normally I make between 100-200 a 6 hour shift. This is in Mid-Michigan... not exactly a profitable area LOL. So don't worry you're not the only one!! I know I can do better I just have to keep at it. I am still constantly learning and trying new things. (And I hear L.A. is one of the worst cities to dance in if that's really where you are.)

I made $700 last Saturday, which is the second time I've made that (my highest amount so far). I was a bit peeved because I had a rich regular coming in later who always drops $300-$400 on me so I really thought it'd be my first $1K night, but he had to reschedule because he was sick. Still, certainly can't complain!

About two weeks ago I hit my highest @ around $850. But I started dancing at the start of this stupid recession....AND we don't have LD's TD's CR's or VIP's at my club. Its ALL stage money. Which can suck at times.

I've been dancing about 3 months, in the Raleigh/Triangle area.
I've taken home around $240 a couple nights, that's the highest I've gone :P I guess it's not TOO bad considering the lack of champagne room or hourly deals at the clubs here

$1,400 but I haven't made that much in a while. Had a few nights over $1,000 but not many. I just find there is not enough hours in the shift to make more then $1k. Where I work now the club takes 40% so the most I could possibly make in a shift is $1,400 and that would be constant dances. It's a no-contact club so fat chance of that ever happening! At that club the most I took home after fees was $750.
I've got 1 customer that will sometimes pay me $1k just to sit with him the whole night and maybe dance once or twice. I love him! Unfortunately he will only come in 8 or 9 times a year.

I've been dancing one month in Colorado -- took home $445 AFTER house/tipouts the other night and only worked four hours. I consider this very good for my club nowadays (we don't have VIP either).
And a damn happy 4th of July it was.

Me too! I've broke $1,200 or so a few times but there was a point in time I was gaurnteed about $400 if I did all of my stage sets and only did like 3 dances, if I would actually try I would average about $600 a night. Now it's so slow I have to work 3 days in a row to make what I used to be "gauranteed"

For some reason I can't get to 1000. I leave with like 995, 980, 950. And this is after a tip out that isn't even that high most times. I've had 10 dollar tip outs before and left with 975 and didn't buy any drinks thus meaning before tipout I made 985.
But to be honest after I get a big enough stack of cash, I sit my ass down, and wait to leave.
Oh maybe that's the aforementioned, "some reason"

I've been dancing for 3 months and I took home a new record amount tonight- $282 on a 6 hour shift after fees and tipouts (but again- this is a club without any sort of champagne room or organized method of selling blocks of time, just LD's, table dances and stage, and I only went on stage once all night. Had to hustle and dance my ass off all night).
I just can't seem to break $300! :-X
miabella
07-19-2009, 01:48 AM
^^^^you can organise your own method of selling blocks of time in such clubs, which is a super win, since you don't have to give the club a percentage and you can set a nice hourly rate for yourself.
it is just holding back your earning potential to think you need a structured champagne setup to charge for blocks of time.

So guess what?
I made over a grand for the first time. It happened yesterday (Monday). After tipping out, I walked with 1360.00 :D It was a little bit surreal. I'm super happy because the guy was really polite and made sure that all my friends were tipped on stage. It felt good to be able to help them out, since things are so shitty lately. I also loved the look on the dj and managers faces when I tipped them each a 100. I'm being responsible and putting most of it away for some upcoming dental visits (which is no fun, I realize, but I was worried about how I'd come up with the money). I really needed to have a day like that. My mojo has been -wrecked- at work lately because of how slow and ridiculous it's been. Today, I made 60 dollars. LOL talk about highs and lows. Of course, it didn't bother me as much as usual, because of yesterday.
PS. HOLY SHIT I WAS -FINNALLYYYY- ABLE TO POST TO THREAD AGAIN. lol
