But hey, if you want to keep fighting, don't let me dissuade you. :)
Oh shaddup with yr deceit and mindfuckery. I already said I liked you. But if yr calling Jenny "remarkably mean" that's some serious schmuckery and I had to say it.
Yea I'm real impressed (as always) with the level of realness exhibited by the girls here, objective and impersonal as possible, they are just telling the truth as best they can. Some ppl will always see in monotone and take things personally/not remove themselves from a situation and view it from above....

Out of curiosity, what would have been the outcome if when you had gotten off stage the trashy girl was sitting with him?

I think I'm missing something here. The OP says nothing about him tipping her while she's sitting; only that he's buying her drinks. And then he says "if you want to go make money, you can". Why would he say that if you were making money from him?
Also, when a guy says that around here, it's usually a polite way of brushing you off. Don't know if that fits around there.

Seems to me if he said "if you want to go make money, you can" then he had no intention of buying dances from the OP. why would he suggest she go elsewhere to make money if he was intereted in dances himself? I agree, it sounds like a brush off. Obviously he wasn't completely disinterested in you, since he did buy you drinks and maybe tipped you for sitting with him (though I'm confused, I thought he was tipping you on stage only from the origonal post). But maybe he was just more interested in dances with the other girl since he'd gotten them before, knew he liked whatever she did, and was hankering for more.
I agree it was rude of her to brag about her money. That's always rude in my book. But it does sound like they had an agreement for her to come back. In fact, she said she "owed" him a dance. If that's true, you really can't blame her for not turning down more sales once that owed dance happened, so that he could get back to sitting with you.

last night was REALLY dead @ work. even when we did get a tiny amount of people, no one was sitting at the stage to tip. they were all sitting @ the bar. ugh!
anyway, this 1 guy who's about 35 came in, tipped me 10 on stage then walked back to the bar. so i go to sit with him when i get off stage. after sitting with him for a while i can tell he's not into dances or anything; he buys me a few drinks, but says if you want to go make money you can, i won't be offended. so i take that as a sign he's not going to spend much in terms of rooms or anything, even tho he has the money. i move on, but always come back to check on him.
well after a stage set later i go over, he buys me another drink, we talk a bit more. this new girl, whos not cute, kinda trashy and not classy sits down and flat out asks him for a beer!! she then said she owed him a dance (i guess they did 1 1/2 before when i was on stage) so away they go; he says he'll be back for another dance from me.
WELL they didn't come back; i guess he did a room or 2 with her! ARGH! he tips me 20 next time i'm on stage at the end of the night, and leaves. he said i didn't mention dances or anything, so he went with her.
in the dressing room, said girl is like 'man i banked tonight! ya know that guy you were sitting with? he tipped me really well!"
HELLOOOO!! did you really just say that and brag?! you kind of stole him, i had sat with him for a while, and because of this i had a bad night, danced a million times on stage and didn't make much. BITCH! i said nothing to her. ugh.
shame on me for assuming he wouldn't get dances, and not asking.
but shame on you for bragging about $, and knowing i had sat with him first.
Looks to me like you knew he had money but he basically didn't wanna spend it on you, because he sent you away to 'make money'. Then you say that she came over and said she 'owed him a dance'.
I agree with whoever said it was more of a shared customer that basically had the choice between her or you, and he went with her because she pushed the sale.
Just charge it to the game. Next time you know a customer has money and is giving you the opportunity, take it.

i don't understand why people are totally missing out on the facts of the situation! i was selling drinks (like brit said we have to sell 5 a night.) & he was tipping me for my time! i wasn't sitting for free- i was earning money off of him- he was giving me $20's! when he obviously had no problem spending money on me for just sitting, i assumed that's all he was interested in. YES it was dumb to assume that and not ask for dances anyway. but IT IS RUDE to come right up and interrupt, ask for a drink when i was sitting with him. i'm the first girl that sat with him that night, so he was never with her first.
she didnt say it in the op, she said it later in this thread.

the point of my original post was just to point out that i think it's rude and against stripper etiquette to come and interrupt a customer who is already sitting with a dancer, like she did to me. and i think it's rude to brag about all the money you made, especially when you don't even know or are not friends with who you're telling.
I agree with you babe, she did cutthroat you, and that is dirty pool.

Still doesn't explain why he told her to go make money if he wanted her company and was already giving her money.
It sounds like a polite brushoff.
I don't agree with how the other girl just walked up and sat down, but that's her game and how she choses to play it and karma will take care of her.

I've had a customer tip me $40 just for talking for a few songs and then go do dances in the VIP with someone else. On a different night, the same customer bought one dance and paid me double but once again went to the VIP with another girl. If he has his preference for her but you still made some money then where is the problem? Be happy you got the drinks and tips from a guy who told you to go away (albeit politely).

on a sidenote that is slightly related to this thread. i would like to add that after working with the girl again last night, i have heard from other dancers and the dj that she bitches a lot and is rude. a friend's customer said she came right up to him and asked for a beer; without introducing herself or anything.
and then she was doing coke very obviously in the bathroom in our dressing room and is now probably getting fired.
payback's a bitch.

BTE, there's no doubt that what the girl did was rude. It was and she is. I just think most of us are trying to explain that she didn't exactly steal your customer.
That's all. It seemed like you felt you were being ganged up on, but I don't think that was the case. I really don't.

Just saw this thread.....
this girl is a total cunt at work, she does this to all the girls and it was a bad thing she did because of the way things work at our club. The girl is so incredibly crass and she makes money by bullying customers into buying her w/e. But that's all I'm gonna say because everyone here is entitled to their opinion, but I know how the club works, so I know the girl was wrong.
