A certain actor was in town for the taping of black snake moan and came the club I was working at the time. His regular place got shut down and seemed to be very standoffish. He didn't tip the waitress who served him hardly a dollar. The rappers were always great though.

John Henson (from the old Talk Soup episodes) got some dances from me one night. He's kind of a freak, but really sweet, and fun to talk to. I think comedians are the best to entertain in the entertainment industry. :P
Maynard from Tool came in one night and didn't tip a DIME to anyone. He was kind of moody. A girl went home with him. Of course. ::)
So jealous. I've had a crush on John Henson since back then, I think I was in Jr. High at the time. I recently saw him on the TV Guide channel & I'd still go for him. I also like Todd Newton. Man I guess I was all over the male E! hosts growing up.

coolio was in shotguns here last night, and he was surprisingly pretty cool (no pun intended) he was tipping girls, bought bottle service, and was way cool with all the customers who just wanted to say hi

It's cool - I don't blame you. It's one of those things you only have the opportunity to do once in life, I guess. My (now ex) gf at the time was trying to go home with him too but he told her 'no'. She was obsessed with him, dancing to Tool every night. She'd even call the restaurant he owns and try to speak to him on the phone. ::) I think she came off as too desperate because when he walked in, she would not leave him alone.
Oh - a few more I remember meeting were the guitarist(?) from hed(pe) who was really sweet, John from System of a Down who was a decent guy, and "Zed" from Pulp Fiction. He looked strung out as all hell, but complimented me on my tattoo. So he's ok in my book.
Aaron from NIN isn't a bad guy all around, but he's sort of cocky. We've met more than a few times. :P

I've had fairly good luck with some pro athletes. Even some musicians spend money on me. But not the tv/movie people. I will say though, I don't usually recognize them until someone tells me, especially athletes and musicians. Every time one of them has spent money on me I had no idea who they were until later, and they seemed to enjoy the fact I didn't know them and therefore treated them like anyone else.
So maybe part of the reason celebs are so stingy with their money is because people fawn over them so much, rather than treat them like people. With tv/movie people I get the feeling they can tell I recognize them even though I don't treat them any differently than I would anyone else, but just the fact I know who they are creates some weirdness which puts them off.

It sucks to have your impression of someone shattered. Celebrities, esp athletes, are role models and need to take that job seriously.
I made friends with Andy Dick at the club I work at now the second night I was there, and am contact with him to this day. I'm distantly related to a comedian who was popular from the 50s-70s, and when I went to write down my full name in this notebook he carries around to get backstage at his show, he nearly peed his pants. I hung out with him, his brother, and his son at his show the next night, gave him adderall for the first time in his life, made a great friend, got wasted and talked for hours - not all celebrities are jerks! He's the sweetest, most brilliant, down to earth nymphomaniac you'll ever me. Athletes, singers, etc usually suck. Comedians are the best.
You might want to take the part where you admitting to giving someone a medication that wasn't prescribed to them out of your post...it's illegal.
On that note, I met a huge actor I dated for a while at a club. He was very low key, very nice to me and spent a lot when I met him. Dumped him after he fucked a girl I danced with (good, I didn't have to then) and wanted me to be his "East Coast girlfriend".
I had quite a few celeb customers, they were all very nice and generous and half I didn't know who they were until people told me (musicians in bands that you only know the lead singer of unless you are a huge fan of them).

re: sean patrick flannery-- total heavensent dude took me up for an hour and a half tonight to basically just slowly dance and massage his shoulders.
he had a few catholic tattoos and by the end of the hour and a half I was so mellow from chilling and mostly cuddling into his neck.
It's not like he was super studly-- 30s, stressful job, business attire, average guy, but the time was so great.
and then I flashed back to the sean patrick flannery thing. the universe is so nice to send a little boondock saintness my way even if only in a tiny way.

Pauly Shore came in about 2 months back but didn't stay long and I never went over to meet him. We've had Aries? I cant remember his last name, black guy from MAD TV come in. He spent some money on one of the girls and seemed nice, but I didn't meet him. We've had some athletes but I wouldn't know them anyway because I don't know shit about sports.

I'm not a huge football fan, but a lot of the girls I work with are, so they'll tell each other when the players come in. I often approach the players in the group who seem the shyest. Or the heavier/or not so attractive ones. I find that pro athletes who think they're hot shit usually treat dancers bad, going on and on about how they get all this pussy for free, blah blah. The shyer ones are usually the ones who dish out a lot of money and are pretty respectful.
We get a lot of famous people in the club, too. That one guy from You, Me, and Dupree.. the one with the crooked nose? He used to come in a lot.. he'd come in fucked up most of the time, and he was EXTREMELY cheap to the girls. I hung out with Slash from Guns and Roses when he came in. He didn't want a dance from me and my friend, he just wanted to give us money to hang out, pretty cool. Adam from Maroon 5 has been in a few times. He's way shorter than I thought he would be! I think he spent a couple grand with a few girls.
Usually I just pretend I don't know who the hell they are... that way they won't think they're gonna get shit for free. I HATE that.

Owen Wilson was in You, Me, & Dupree. I've always had a huge crush on him. That sucks that he was cheap. Adam Levine too. Oh, so cute. I always thought he'd be tall. Maybe they shoot him from a good angle or something to make it seem like that.

It's purely a rumor I heard from another girl at LC, a friend of hers and mine. Pretty reliable source with nothing to gain by spilling the beans. I believe it, though. She was bragging about how they hooked up everytime he was in town, then they got into some big fight and he wouldn't see her anymore. This is while she was dating a manager whose name starts with B. I think it's HILARIOUS.
it is Hilarius. i'm hardly ever there but if i do see her i'm going to laugh (to myself of course)
I would like to meet Kid Rock at the club. He seems cool and is very badass.
he was very cool. came in at close. we stayed open a little late then shut the doors and had a party. he spent good money on stage and was just really nice as well as his crew

I have a huge inexplicable crush on Robbie Williams, and he came into a club I Worked at as a waitress. Completely ignored me :x Though he was extremely charming and charismatic. He ended up going home with the dancer I absolutly HATED because she treated all the wait staff like SHIT.
She got herpes from him. Hahahah.
Slightly off topic, but I like to tell that story whenever I can. :D

That's funny about Kid Rock, and makes me rethink the whole story of him assaulting the DJ at that club, lol. Though from the story it was Kid Rock's friend who really started the shit. Then some of those DJs that like to heckle the crowd can get pretty nasty. I never cared for that, myself.
I pretty much agree about celebrities, though. The entitlement is what makes them such assholes.
That reminds me, I keep meaning to post that Ron Jeremy was at our club, lol! He didn't stay long, and didn't stiff any dancers, but outside he had some porn actress with him. He looked just like the pictures, but didn't carry himself like a jerk at all, unlike so many famous people.
At the last club I worked at, they had Ron Jeremy do a bit of stand up comedy one night, and although he smelled like he hadn't taken a shower for a month, he was super-cool and not opposed to socializing and having fun with the house girls. (One good thing I HAVE to point out about him physically is that he has a pair of the most BEAUTIFUL eyes I have ever seen.)

jamal lewis, some girls wouldnt go to vip with him. i dont know what went on but i know he brought baby oil with him and some girls refused to go.
chris mccallister.. i hate him. i waited on him when i used to waitress, and each round of drinks for him and his 4 or 5 friends, he tipped a dollar. and he expected shit for free all the time.

I'm friends (and have worked with)the guy that got punched, and he did get attacked, but Kid didn't start it, one of his friends did. They came in at closing and didn't want to leave, so the DJ said something to the effect of 'You can party all night long, but it can't be here'. Member of Kid's group didn't like that, and it was downhill from there.
When Kid came to a different club here in Nashville he was VERY nice! Tipped the girls and the waitresses very well so he's all good in my book.

Yeah, sometimes the asskissing 'crew' hanging around the celebrities are worse than the celebrities, lol--case in point. I'm not surprised at all.
But it was Kid Rock who punched the DJ, right? Sticking up for his friend in a case of misbegotten loyalty? I believe you both if he was cool, he was cool when you met him, but something went wrong there if the DJ was just trying to get them to leave. Somebody fucked up somehow, or maybe all three of them to some extent, especially the hanger on instigator..
...he was super-cool and not opposed to socializing and having fun with the house girls.
I'm sure he was all for having fun with the house girls, LOL! he looked like an alright guy when I saw him, but I have heard he is grabby. On thing's for sure, giant cock or not, the girl he was with was way out of his league--but then being a celebrity changes all that, sometimes...

Two more celebrity instances that were discussed in the locker room recently, the Jackass crew was there about 3 years ago, and yes they do REALLY act like that....complete JACKASSES.
Hinder also came in Oct '06, took a few girls into VIP at a discounted rate, spent about 3000 overall..........and tipped the waitress $100.
I don't think I would approach a celebrity if I recognized one, b/c I have a preconceived notion of what to expect.

Eh-hem. The gentlemen he was with who had chosen me to sit with them was a joy. I was compensated appropriately for sitting and talking. Seriously, just sitting and talking.
I understand that their behavior is not the norm for famous people and those associated with famous people. So last night was a real treat.

Most celebs I've met have been cheap douchbags. Esp athletes.
The ONE exception was Carson Daly. He was cool as fuck..tipped well and we got trashed together(there wasnt really anyone else in the club that night). He also wore my panties on his head...so he's cool in my book!!
Of course now when someone plays the "dont you know who I AM?????" crap....I throw it right back..."Dont you know who I AM? I'm Cameron Keys-porn star bitch....worship appropriately" LOLOLOL!!!!

I've said it before . Celebs ain't shit.
I have had plenty of experience with celebs and they are so narcissistic. A certain second rate comedian has been a close friend of mine for years. I knew him before he was famous and now I can't stand to be around him because all he does is talk about himself. Yes you are famous, but believe it or not, we all have lives too ! He never asks what any of us are doing . He just talks about "the show" or his new movie. I don't even think he's that funny. He gets so annoyed that I don't watch his movies.
We get a lot of athletes at work and they really don't spend any money and expect a lot of attention for free. I dated a former basketball player once and he expected to sign autographs instead of paying the bill. This happened more than once and it was such a turn off.
One noteable exception however was Boris Diaw. He is a sweetheart and a good tipper. He can come into work anytime ....oh and Charles Barkley was probably just wasted if he was a dick. Homeboy LOVES to get his drink on .
