Oh, and by healthy appetite, I mean that I eat more than any woman and most of the men I know. My friends hate going out to lunch with me because while they are ordering salads or eating half of their plate, I rarely have leftovers and always order a 3-5 course meal.

You're lucky-eating too many carbs blows me up like a balloon, no matter how much I exercise. The high-protein, low-carb style of eating is the only way I've been able to lose weight effectively.

Weird... 10mg is nowhere near a cup of coffee...
I think they mean 10 mg of green tea, which has ECEG to boost metabolism. Then a bunch of caffeine on top of that.
These actually made me sick. Every morning I would take a pill, with breakfast, and within 15 I was throwing it back up.
Yeah! I do get a little nauseous if I try to take it early in the morning without food. And if I take if right before bed, I get all cracked out and can't sleep. Works okay if I have it with lunch or dinner though. I dunno. Just another option to try if you like.

Hey Lysondra...do you have any updates?..how everything is going and if you are still losing or at least staying where u want to be at?..I just bought the stuff for your "diet" so I can't wait to see if it works..I've never actually dieted before..so I think I'm going to try it for about a month and if all goes well then stop the pills and just keep working out and eating better..I'm also hoping with taking the caffeine pills so I will have to cut back on my pop drinking..it's my one really bad vice..so hopefully I can totally stop or at least heavily cut back drinking so much pop...;D

This sounds dangerous.
im am surprised it took so many posts before someone said this! i agree! it sounds like you are just losing weight because of an increased heart rate as a result of caffeine, which is a drug, is addictive, and is overall unhealthy for you.
whats next, the coke diet? but whatever, your body, do what you want with it, but i wouldn't call this a good weight loss diet
^^ I honestly don't think its as bad as u think, she's only taking 100mg of caffiene a day, there's 200mg of caffiene in each diet pill and you can take up to 3 of those a day (adding up to 600mg of caffiene). And some people drink 3-4 cups of coffee a day, so I really don't think she's in danger
yes and these people cannot function without caffeine. Imagine waking up every day and having no energy unless you drink coffee. That seems like a really sad existence to me. These people also tend to look tired and weathered out all the time, and prematurely aged. and honestly i think once your body gets used to the increased heart rate you are gonna stop losing weight and once you stop drinking caffeine every morning you are gonna gain it all back because of your newly slowed heart rate

You are very vehement there, but 100mg of caffeine a day is not going to do that (though I looked it up and there's only 32.4mg of caffeine in 100mg No-Doz but 24-40mg of caffeine in an 8oz cup of green tea so I'm not sure exactly what her caffeine intake will be).
Moreover, the site (http://www.medicinenet.com/caffeine/article.htm) I found also says this:
Does caffeine cause heart disease?
With the high prevalence of heart disease, links between lifestyle factors, such as diet and physical activity, are undergoing extensive research. The original research into caffeine's role in this epidemic resulted in conflicting answers. Some evidence suggests an elevation in stress hormones from caffeine consumption that could pose a cardiovascular risk, but recent research has shown no relationship between caffeine ingestion and heart disease. In fact, studies have actually shown a protective effect against heart disease with habitual intake of caffeinated beverages in the elderly population. The reason for the discrepancy may be due to the kind of beverage being consumed. Studies have shown that coffee and tea were not associated with increases in blood pressure or arrhythmias, while soft drinks were. Research also showed that decaffeinated coffee and tea did not provide the same benefits as the caffeinated versions. The well-respected Framingham Heart Study examined all potential links between caffeine intake and cardiovascular disease and found no harmful effects from drinking coffee. There can, however, be exceptions to this. People react differently to caffeine, and some may experience elevations in blood pressure or arrhythmias. The blood pressure elevations are said to be short-lived, lasting no more than several hours and are comparable to modest elevations experienced climbing a flight of stairs. It's always best to check with your physician if you are experiencing any side effects.
Now I wasn't going to go any further than just finding one article that seemed reasonably well researched but I'm sure there's a lot more information out there.
Basically, I think your response was somewhat overboard and not actually based on fact.
P.S. I say this as someone who is genuinely addicted to caffeine and does feel like shit without it. But I drink a good deal more than 100mg - more like 600mg+ a day. And don't forget that caffeine does not accumulate at all in the body and no physiological addiction has ever been proven.

I tried this diet and actually like it. Combined with exercise, tons of water, and eating better, it has been a very effective way for me to lose a little bit of weight quickly. I got nothing like 10lbs per week, but I look so much better, and I do not feel as though I absolutely have to take the caffeine pill everyday just to wake up and get going. It's really not that serious.

Watch out for foods that have a high glycemic index, that is foods that transform very rapidly into glycogen. Like 'high fructose corn syrup'. If your system doesn't regulate blood sugar well, these type foods are a big problem.

I still weigh what I did when I finished the diet! :) I just eat healthy and normally now and am no longer on the diet. My usual diet consists of vegetables, lean meats and egg or spelt based pastas now, which could contribute to the weight loss remaining off.
I am completely free of caffeine currently and in NO WAY is a freaking 100mg tablet of No Doz equivilent to a coke diet. It is the same ingredients in most exercise supplements only in a much much cheaper form. It was my way of saving hundreds of dollars and testing it out.

At this time I was having one no doz with one 16 oz light green tea each day... so I wasn't even having the equivelent of a cup of coffee in the morning. Plus tea > coffee in re: health.
