^^I know...I had a two-hour drama read-a-thon last night. Made me oddly happy.
Mostly because it was drama that was long over--I could sit and enjoy it without feeling guilty!

We need a SW Hall of Shame where all the dramatic threads get stickied so we can look back on them fondly and laugh.

There is no way, logically speaking, the Random Thread could load slower than other threads. Once you're on the page you're on, it's not loading the rest. You should check your computer for that issue if you're having it.

^really?
I honestly have problems with just that one thread loading. but hmaybe it's just me noticing slow times or something.
but then why would Paige opt to close the Random thread?
If there's no bickering and it isn't clogging up the board...why close it?
Like if it ain't broke, don't fix it sorta thing.

Technologically speaking, no, it couldn't load slower except many people tend to post instead of a few over and over, meaning; it reloads a bunch of images because there's a bunch more people. If two people are arguing in one thread, it'll load a bit quicker on that page because the only images that need to load are theirs - once. While on Random Thread it could be 25 different people's stuff loading at once. Of course, then this should happen to other threads that many people comment once on.
I have no idea why it's being closed.
I also have no fricken clue what this apparent huge drama was over this last week. :x

Huge drama?
I saw no huge drama.
hmm

^^Meh. There's "huge drama" every 5 minutes.
Then it ends. And begins again accordingly.
Like living with multiple toddlers, if you will. :D

I have been making an effort to venture into the random thread here and there. But I'm still unsure of it. Like there's too much going on or something.

I've been trying to find words to use that won't act as a keyword for Random Thread in search, since apparently trying to do that is like trying to find a rhyme for orange. So far I've got:
onomatopoeia, iambic, pentameter.....

^^^The word 'armadillo' didn't bring up the Random Thread but 'platypus' did.
I'm off to make a post in there about armadillos.

A random thread part 2 was made, so Paige decided to close the random thread. People didn't like it so she unclosed it and will close it on Jan 1. 08.

I love the random thread. I can post totally pointless stuff, rant, etc without having to start a whole new thread.
