Her boy took her on that cruise they booked way back during stripperfest, remember? I don't think she really wanted to go but it was already paid for.

Oh that makes sense then. In my experience with cruises the internet is only available on their special computers, is SLLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWW AND costs like a dollar a minute. So it makes no sense to get on. And you can't call anyone either unless you are in port.

That is one heck of a long vacation she's taking.

I have, as I said in my OP, but I was thinking she might address the many other issues raised in this thread. Seems she'd want to defend her business practices if there is a reason for all of these problems.

Playing Devil's Advocate here, since I like both Andygirl and Bridgette.

However...I will say this much: even though I know with drop-shipping the speed at which things tend to arrive can vary, it might be worth it to her to spend a little extra and hire an assistant to help her deal with orders and customer service if she's unable to take care of it all herself.

It would be a shame to have a good company run for dancers by a dancer get derailed because the owner has a lot going on and doesn't have the time to attend to her orders as much as she'd like to.

Most business owners would be thrilled to have more business than they can handle! It's a positive, but the business itself apparently hasn't adjusted to its growth.

Agree with the above statement wholeheartedly.

Currently experiencing the same problems with the web store in this thread, and it's not the delay in shipment that irritates me, its the lack of communication. The operator basically fell off of the planet.
Any 10 dollar an hour temp can enter orders. How about paying a friend or your mom? Anything. Like mentioned above, you could have 100 satisfied customers, and 1 angry one, and guess which one makes the most noise.

This is funny Andygirl. Considering every order I've received from you has cost me money. First time you exchanged shoes TOTALLY against policy. Shoes you sent me were dirty and worn, totally unsalvagable, AND you didn't follow return directions - taped all over the shoebox and ruined it so there was no way I could get credit for those shoes, yet I still sent you the shoes you wanted in exchange. I LOST money on that transaction because of your actions.

Second order was similar. When I saw your last order I ALMOST cancelled it, refunded your money and blocked you from ordering again. But instead I processed it. A whopping 3 business days after the order was placed. Not weeks.

If your shopping experience were so terrible with me I wonder why you kept coming back? Was it because other companies have tired of bending over backwards and losing money on their transactions with you?

I am GLAD to know you won't be shopping at my store again. You are impossible to please and COST me money. Like, not just less profit. No, your transactions actually cause me to go negative. Like going home after a shift at the club with less money than I walked in with. That's never fun.

That "snarky" page is there in response to the plethora of emails I get daily from girls who ordered something on Friday night and can't seem to understand why it's not in their hands by Tuesday. Or the ones who fail to provide accurate contact info so I can't reach them when I need to regarding their order, until they finally email me or file a complaint. Or the ones who order something on Oct 24th at 6pm and expect to have it by Saturday the 27th for their Halloween party. LOL

I don't know who the rest of you are but I keep up with orders and lets just say this site isn't my best source of business by far. I have alot of customers who keep coming back to my store for a reason. That is all.

I don't know what yall think you're accomplishing here but I will not participate in anymore bitchfests about my site. I TOTALLY understand now why the other well-known companies never advertise or post here.

In hopes of avoiding a bigger shitstorm for moderators to muddle through, I will not respond to anything else in this thread.

I do want to say that it has been tough lately but I am still processing orders! I did as much as I could on the trip but time and internet were limited. Also its holiday time and shipping is slow. My vendors do their best but its crunch time and UPS is flooded, everything bogs down this time of year.

I'm at my grandparents now in the booooonieeesss with NO internet for miles. I'm driving tomorrow to the nearest internet cafe around - 30 miles away LOL - to process the latest orders.

Yes I'm running a couple days behind now but I'm on it. Still holiday time though, so shipping is still a bit slower than normal. I do apologize for inconveniences!

As for me hiring help. Well that's just not as simple as it sounds. Its a whole process to get setup for someone to enter orders and then another to get them trained and able to handle it on their own. Anyone who's started a small business from scratch understands this. However I'm working on something that will make the next busy season go MUCH smoother for all :)

Lastly, I don't want anyone to think I don't appreciate people's business. I really do. But no one can please everyone, as the OP of this thread has taught me so well.

Yeah, I returned shoes to you once and they weren't packaged right. So sorry. I told you at that time I wouldn't expect you to take them back if it was going to be a loss, but you said it was ok. And for the record, they got worn when I tried them on, in my home. They never touched the floor of the club.

The other time I ordered a zip up corset, which I kept and didn't return. Along with that a bikini outfit that I didn't return. And then my last order, which had two items that I didn't return. So what is it about that that cost YOU money? I waited and waited for that stuff.

Why did I come back to your store? Because I thought it was the lesser of several evils of internet stripperwear ordering. I've tried other companies and had to wait forever for them as well. I guess I'd rather try someone I kind of know than risk it with a new company.

What are we accomplishing here? Well, the thing is, there is no way to contact you. Your customer service number is a fax machine. Emails go unanswered. What in the world am I supposed to do?! I started a thread asking for advice on how to contact you before this thread showed up, but had no luck there.

And you "keep up with your orders"? Um... My order was placed on 10/19/07, and my account was charged on 10/22/07. Today is 12/28/07 and I've received NO COMMUNICATION from you. I paid you, and you've completely ignored me for over two months. Maybe I'm crazy, but that doesn't sound like keeping up very well with the orders. I could have used the costume a month ago, but since I'm quitting dancing in a few weeks and probably not going back, I'd be ecstatic if I could just get a refund at this point. Or just send me the costume. Or just send me an email acknowledging my existence. Please.

Fuck THAT. You would know who I am if you read my emails and my myspace and Paypal messages to you. And thanks for telling us that we are not important. That's great. This is why I made a claim with Paypal to get my money back from the order you ignored for A MONTH.

Are you SERIOUSLY trying to defend your actions of ignoring orders for months by saying you were on vacation recently? That's sensible.
Nice.

I pretty much ONLY order from this store. It has the best prices on the web, and I've never had a single problem with the shipping.

The one problem I DID have turned out to be my own fault...I waited...and waited...after 2 weeks my card still had not been charged....turns out I didn't hit the confirm order button and the order was never placed.

OH, and no I did not read the preceding 5 pages. I just wanted to say that I'm very satisified with this company's products and service.

Got my money back, finally. NOT through Bridgette---absolutely no response...but through Paypal.

Lesson learned.

Please notice that Bridgette did not address any of the valid concerns posted above about lack of communication?

If you are going to run a retail business, you should at least have a way for your customers or potential customers to contact someone it is sort of a requirement.

The statement about couple days behind is an out and out lie or you have a serious system problem with losing orders.

Choose to reply to what you will, but all attempts at communication with the "Store" have been nothing but professional and courteous.

If this is not a valid source of income, or is not worth your time, I suggest closing or selling the store to someone who is prepared to spend the required time on it. Hiring someone to process orders is not as hard as you make it out to be. I own 3 businesses personally, and time management and delegation are two of the most important pieces of owning a business and keeping it from owning you.

Those who have ACTUALLY ordered from Bridgette are asked to PLEASE contact her by messaging. Seems some may have jumped the thread because they can...THIS is not fair. Not fair to those who have ordered from her, and Bridgette herself while she clears these orders up, she will have on file those who have ordered.

This thread has run it's course. No need for other companies to jump in and speak of bad business behaviour. No need.

PS i hope you all get your orders cleared up, but this thread is not going to turn into flat out atacks when you have no business with Bridgette.

Bridgette DID address her customers in her second message posted in this thread.

If anyone has a problem with this thread please PM me about messages posted here. It is locked.
Thank you.
