what?! you shoudn't let those things afect you, and most important your health! if you know you didn't say those things then you have nothing to worry about. just forget it, you're more important than her and the things she said.

When I first started dancing at this club,

"Girl, what music are you dancing to and you are too damn skinny to work here, you are in the wrong place."

A girl that clearly couldn't make it in any what you call a "top-shelf" club because she couldn't be any other way than proud and ghetto.

Me: With an upbeat tempo, "I like to be different" and walked out.

Another club:

This girl always said nice things to me and let all the custys know what a pretty little thing I was, so I was shocked one day when I went into the dressing room and asked her what's wrong, and she turned on and me and said, "I don't give a fuck about you and what happens to you" and walked out. I was so shocked! I even came to tears, lucky enough for me the best house mom I have known gave me a hug and said "just ignore her she can be a bitch sometimes when in a mood." Goodness, that was out of no where.

I am waiting for some girl to come to my face and say something about me becoming a blond (I heard things from others behind my back, not to my face though). Maybe its just me, but I am waiting for it.

I've had a girl say to me "Wow, I hope I look like you when I get old"

What a backhanded freaking compliment. Problem is, I don't think the idiot meant it the way it came out but she said it in front of other people.

omygosh i feel bad, i said the same exact thing to this beautiful older lady at my club, but i went on to say that she should bring a pic of her when she was my age so i could see what she looked like. She was so beautiful to me, i just thought when she was younger, she must have been stunningly beautiful. I felt bad at first, but she said that she understands what i mean and that she would bring a pic.

but i got some awful things said and done to me, there to hurtful to repeat. but one was when they drew an awful picture of me an posted it in the dj booth.

Hmmm here's a few:

At my first club, about a month or so before I got my boob job(and I think most people there were aware that I was planning to get them done). This 18-yr-old bitch named Monique butted into my conversation in which I was complaining to some dancer friends about how customers dissed my small boobs. She ever-so-belligerently chimed in, "But you don't have any boobs!" >:(

A year later(AFTER I got the boob job), I was at another club and this girl started trouble with me for no reason. She called me over to her, asked me who my surgeon was, then said to the girl standing next to her in a snotty voice "Don't go to him" and she smugly walked away. I later hissed "bitch" at her and we got into this huge argument and fight(see the "Stripper hall of shame" thread about the rest of the story, including how it escaladed into us throwing quarters at each other!!). Worst part is, her friends yelled at ME for defending myself, even though she started it.

This isn't a stripper, but a manager...at one club I worked at, we had to tip out 15% of our earnings. I was usually very conscientious about this, and on game day when I made a conscious effort to get in early as managers told us to do, and tried really hard but just couldn't do well that night regardless, the manager said "That's all you made??" in a snotty, ungrateful voice when I went to tip out. Wow, thanks for rubbing it in and reminding me that I'm in the wrong job field. You really think I woulda been stripping if I coulda landed a job that was more "me"?

Now here's a line that a stripper said to me OTC...it was a girl I'd worked with that was also a personal friend(met her at the club). When I found out I was pregnant, she initially said, "It's your time to be a mom" which was fine. But then after I miscarried, she adamantly denied saying such a nice thing, and claimed that I probably miscarried because I "wasn't meant to have a kid" and said in an incredulous voice, "Seriously, do you really think you could handle having a kid and being a parent??" even though she'd congratulated a lot of our same-age, equally unmarried dancer friends on THEIR pregnancies. This was probably THE most hurtful thing said by a dancer, because it showed my so-called "friend's" true perception of how she saw me. Here I was, proud and happy that I'd achieved so much from my hard work(my own apartment, new car, paid off debt, finished college & paid my tuition, better credit score, etc), and she was downtalking me and saying that I couldn't "handle" the very thing that many of our friends could do. >:( To this day, I still bitch and whine about how people underestimated my parental abilities when I was pregnant...I think I've actually wrote numerous threads on SW about it. :'(

EDIT: Speaking of mean things dancers said to me when pregnant...one time at work, I was feeling queasy from the pregnancy so I texted my dancer friend who has 2 kids of her own, "Do you have any tips for how to feel better?" and she texted back, "Yeah, an abortion." >:( Later she apologized and wrote that sometimes ice cream helps, but I thought that was really insensitive.

I could go on and on about how many people doubted me when I was pregnant...just like when my parents doubted my ability to get a good score on the SAT(I disproved them, too!)...and just like when Dr. Tom and a few other asshole guys ditched me because in their opinion, they didn't see me ever going anywhere in life or ever having the money to finish college(little did they know that I would start stripping and make enough money to turn my whole life around!!).

I got one for this thread last night:

So, I'm leaving for the night, after having worked 5 hours, paid out a total of $60 to work, with a profit of $1 in my pocket. I know of a handful of girls who had a similar or worse experience last night, so it didn't sting as hard as it could have, but as I was getting dressed, I saw the skinny girl with the giant fake tits (who always gets yelled at for using too much baby oil on herself before she goes onstage) signing out for VIP, and I asked her something along the lines of, "go, you. what do you say to these guys, anyway?"

She was like, "what," and I pointed out that a lot of us were leaving broke and she was on her 3rd VIP of the night.

She said "It's the hotness." I pointed out that she wasn't the only hot chick at the club, and she just made like she was looking around the dressing room, laughed, and replied with, "yeah, I am."

I really had to hold back so I could just walk away and not punch her.

Fortunately I haven't run into any evil dancers at my club. People are pretty friendly. But there is this one girl who's got scrambled eggs for brains. She's a nutjob with crazy paranoid stories about the CIA plotting to kill her and shit. One day she told me,

"You get a lot of dances because you scare men. You have vampire energy."

Uhhhh.....right. WTF?

She was being serious, but I think now it was funny more than mean.

Not really sure if I should have taken this as a compliment, or if it was nasty and or bitchy. Verdict is still out......You guys help me decide.

I walk in to work last night, and as I am getting my crap together (while still in my street clothes) a girl that has always seemed kinda weird...nice, but weird...says to me:

"Hey hun, you coming or going?"
Me: "Oh, I just got here. Getting ready to get dressed and get to work"
Girl: (slams her fist down on the counter) "Fuck!"
Me: "What's up?"
Girl: "I hate when you work! No one else can make any money. I hate working with you. I might as well go home right now"
Me: "Whoah, babe.....you shouldn't say that"
Girl: "Yeah, but you are like drop dead gorgeous. It must be nice. The minute you walk in we all want to just throw in the towel and go home. No offense"
Me: "That's a shitty way of thinking.....no offense"
Girl: "Well, yeah whatever...have a good night" ....and walks out of the DR.

WTF?

The only one I have was a few weeks into dancing and there was this chick who does really amazing pole work and I saw her in the DR one night after a stage set but she had changed so I wasn't completely sure if it was her or not.

Me:"You're the girl who does the awesome pole work, right?"
Her:"no. It's my twin sister."
Me: "Really?"
Her: "god, what a dumb ass."

Umm...okay. I'm pretty sure I just complimented you and it's not like its impossible for twins to be working at the same club, especially if you're not even wearing the same clothes you were just wearing a song ago. I just scoffed and went on my way.

I'm not going to say which ones I'm referring too, but if those were said to me I would have laughed or wouldn't have thought to take it as an insult. I'm not dim, I just don't take people that seriously.

I once told my BFF that I need to hold my head sideways so her smile wouldn't look soo fucked up to me, but my BFF and I pick on eachother for fun.

It's what we say about the other girls that really takes bitchy to the next level. As we create metephors when we are bored and compare every1 to farm animals, or stores...ie Kmart, Flee Market, Dollar General, Nemis, Bebe, the Collection...ect or movie charcters/famous poeple. Whatever we sort of make an art form out of it and been known to give a few girls at our club serious complexes(exspecailly if they get on our bad sides cuz then the gloves are off), but the both of us can take it as we dish in out becuz we just have that sort of twisted sense of humor where it's like a battle of wits and who has the better tits for us.

I don't think she was TRYING to be bitchy. I'll be honest enough to admit that I've had similar feelings: This one girl at my old club looked like a Barbie doll (and I mean that): Blonde hair, huge tits, skinny as can be... Whenever she worked, no one else made much money. I mean, that's not YOUR fault, but I can kind of understand this girl's frustration.

There's a girl I work with that says this shit to me too. I look nothing like the perfect woman either! She'll make comments like "Oh great I'll just sit back here all night since you're working. I'm not going to make any money." or she'll announce to the whole dressing room "Don't bother working tonight girls because she's going to take all the money tonight." I hate back handed comments like that.

This one really pissed me off. I always get told how young I look. Every freaking night. People asking to see my ID. Asking if I'm underage. Making bets with their friends about my age. On and on and on-blah, blah, blah.

Anyways, one night I was dancing on a side stage and a regular customer of mine came up to tip me. He was already sitting with someone so they came up together.

She goes on to say, "yeah I was just telling him about how young you look". "You look like a twelve year old with your mother's makeup on".

I so wanted to stick my stiletto up her 21 but looks 40 fat ass. >:(

I don't understand their mentality. I would never just up and admit failure or jealousy of mine out loud. I'm kinda haughty like that, but also I just don't see how having a defeatist attitude like that would help anything. /:O

Well with that defeatist attitude they are bound to fail, so they just have most of the defeatist attitude. Is a bad cycle to get in to for sure.

I would never admit defeat like that either and I sure as hell wouldn't NOT try??? huh? That would just push me to up my game and feel a sense of accomplishment at the end, if anything.

I like to piss her off too when she pulls this shit. I'll just agree with her "Yep she's right girls. You better keep an eye on your customers because I'm going to take them away from you, give them the naughtiest dance ever so that they're not going to spend another dime on you." Me "Um, me... it's naturally curly. I was running late today so I didn't straighten it."
Dancer 1 "That's soooo cute! You actually look like a stripper today! Everyone look at Lola!"

For the most part, since I usually keep to myself (not as much lately), girls have been nice to me.

I guess the worse outright "mean" thing was:

Her: YOU'RE working tonite?! I hate when you work. I can never make any money.

I accidently said something that could b interpreted as being mean...

(girl and i were having friendly small talk when i 1st started wking @ club - girl is one of the older ones working at club...):

Me: So, is this the first and last place that you're going to work?

I quickly said then that I meant I was asking if she liked the club so much she didn't want to go anywhere else. :-[

Then...there's the incident where, at my recent club, a girl teamed up with a customer on MY VERY 1ST DAY WORKING AT THE CLUB and had him "get a lapdance from me." he then said he was an undercover cop and was going to arrest me. she was part of the "plan" b/c she pretended to act all friendly, introduce herself, tell me "tips" on working at the club, etc...then she introduced me to that customer who supposedly was going to get a dance, went to the back, i got on his lap, then he pulled out his retired bro's police badge and said i was under arrest (illegal stuff, yeah).

My BF, who's a top earner, had a dream about the club where the stage was covered with rubbish so she couldn't dance. Then she ran into the locker room crying and I started laughing at her saying, "Ha! Now you can't make any money either!"

I got a real gem last night.

I was talking with this dancer I don't really like in the DR last night about Jewish holidays or something--I can't for the life of me remember why--and when I mentioned that I was half-Jewish she said "Oh honey, I knew that the first day I met you by your nose..*snicker*..I mean, no offense but..."

And I knew YOU were a tweaker whore the day I met you by your toothless gums and the cum drizzle on your chin, white trash skank!

When I first began dancing, there was a girl that disliked me but I didn't give a rat's ass so I always ignored her. Yet, she would ALWAYS make it a point to come to a group on the floor or in the DR if I was there having conversation and even follow me into the bathroom. When there's someone I dislike, I avoid them instead of try to be around them. One day she deliberately bumped her shoulder into mine as we passed each other on the main floor. I kept walking instead of giving her attention. I was in the DR changing outfits and she was sitting at the table with her friends and decided to pick an argument with me.

Her: The next time you bump into a person, say excuse me!
Me: When I bump into a "HUMAN" I say excuse me!
Her: At least I don't have to change clothes to make money.
Me: At least I make enough money so that I can afford to change clothes instead of wearing the same shit day after day and worn out shoes held together with a safety pin!!

She must've thought her friends would help her argue against me but no one said a word in her defense. She tried to badmouth me to customers after that but it didn't do her an ounce of good. She returned to work after an awful looking boob job and got turned down for dances when she approached a guy. I approached the same guy and wound up doing a few hundred dollars worth of LD for him on the floor instead of VIP!

When I was at some trailer trash dump, girls saw me standing at the bar and one of them said to my friend "Why would she want to work here? Ethnic girls don't make much money." Once I began working there, they got upset just because my stage performance was better than their's. A customer beckoned me over to him while I was on stage and said "I'm a regular here. They asked me to watch you because they think you're doing something wrong. You're really just very good and they're jealous. I'm gonna tell them!" Funny how ignorant racists feel good when they're talking negative about ethnics but the moment you outdo them on stange, they get upset especially if you make more tips than they do.

There was a VERY nasty dancer I used to work with who bullied almost everyone (apparently, I never had any trouble with her but she had a massive reputation for making dancers lives hell), she had a tattoo of her sons name along the bottom of her back which was Flynn in celtic lettering, it was quite hard to read.

I heard that some of the dancers used to tell custies that it said `Flange`

In another club there was a dancer who looked..........a little bit rough and a little bit butch. She was a poacher so a few of us used to tell custies her original name was Steve.

I think the meanest thing I have ever said to a girl was well justified and deserved.

She always made snippy remarks about everyone there, and always had bad things to say about older girls that still dance (25+).

So one night, I had had ENOUGH of her bullshit, and called her out on it. She was in the mirror checking out her tummy, and I asked if she was still working out (we had the same trainer). She said yes could we tell; and I said no, and that it was a damn shame that her gut still stuck out farther than her bolt on's. Maybe she needed to go back on her coke diet cause when she was doing that, she was skinny. But if she did decided to go back on coke, to get better makeup, cause she looks like she is 41 in the face on the drugs.

Totally bitchy, but well deserved and it felt SO good! She finally quit a few weeks later after she got her ass whooped in 3 fights with other girls that she started, rofl!

She was an x-dancer at same club. From what I hear she became very bitter towards the end of her dancing career (she wasn't aging very well) and would complain to certain people that all the guys only wanted the younger girls.

A suuuuper money hungry chick (like in a dirty way) at my club asked me to join her table tonight. She was sitting with two guys who were throwing money around. Long story short, one of them grabbed the fuck out of my crotch. The chick laughed at me when I got upset and then the whole table joined in.

Later she found my girlfriend and said, "Money fixes everything. How much do I need to get him to give her to make it right?"

Cunt, just because your pussy can be bought for 48 bucks (what he ended up giving me) doesn't mean mine can.

I never had any really bad comment said to my face but I do remember these comments:

Dancer: Comes in DR and complains about the humidity wreaking havoc on her hair.

Me: I say, "Yeah its totally screwing my hair too."

Dancer: Says in bitchy tone, "Yeah but my hair is REAL."

Me: Stunned silence. I inform her that my hair is REAL too. (It is, I have long thick hair)

Dancer: Says "Oh well I figured your hair was fake because all black dancers wear fake hair."

I didn't think my hair even looked fake at all, its just long.

Ive also gotten, "Wow, you're soooo pretty for a black girl." As well as, "I thought all black girls were ugly/fat/stupid until I met you."

Ive also had girls talk about ghettoness and look at me and say, "No offense." Bitch, I am in no way ghetto. Hell, I didn't even grow up in the ghetto, so why the hell would I be offended that you called/thought somebody acted ghetto? Like somehow ghetto=black. White people aren't ghetto?? Hell yes they can be. WTF?

I've also heard this in the DR:

Good dancer friend (who is smoking ass hot + uber nice + has fake boobs) of mine comes into the DR with a crapload of stage tips.

Another dancer who is not so hot, but awesome on the poles sees her tips and says,

"It's just too bad that guys tip for boobs and not for talent. They'll throw out all their money for some girl who can't dance and enhanced herself with plastic surgery, but won't give any money to REAL dancer."

Bitch!

^ Is that why your username is 'hot 4 a black chick'? Sarcasm? Because for awhile I was wondering if you were saying black was normally ugly! :O

:D Yeah, I've heard it sooo much from custies, and even a few dancers, I just decided to "own" the phrase. Now I almost have to hold back laughter when someone says it. It has become an inside joke at my club. I know that any race can be hot and the people who say stuff like that are just ignorant.

Yeah they actually think it is a compliment.

I am sick of some girl's, "I can do pole tricks so I am automatically better than you" shit. Like its her fault that she doesn't make $$ up there. (She is not even a "bad" dancer, she is good, she doesn't do any pole tricks) I think that every girl should be tipped by those sitting at the rail, and pole tricks do require strength/skill, but guys don't go to the strip club to see how well we can climb the pole.

I agree, pole tricks ARE cool, but then again there aren't guys at the top of the pole with bank rolls, lol.:P
