LOL...That's actually not who I found. But since it's right enough...I say it counts. I s'pose I should have asked who was the FIRST.

The "sticking it to the man by baking Neiman Marcus cookies with a recipe purchased for $250" hoax? Or am I way off base?

hhahah wow... that's new! umm, the 250 rule has to do with relationships of a certain nature.

hehe I only thought blade was the obvious answer because stella said it was easy, and i thought it was amusing...

Dammit O! I tried searching for 250 and it said "sorry, no results." Howzahell did you DO it?!

Off to search!

SundayMorning

I hate you forever. I spent the last 45 minutes searching. Found a Polish poet and an English historian in signatures but no damn Dutch philosopher. Grr, arg! I even have a question when I get a turn, too!

OdysseusNJ

Sorry babe. Given it's philosophy, this is probably a real softball I've lobbed up for Colette too. You had better hurry!

OK I'll start thinking of a hint.

I searched on "250 rule" with the quotes. Once I found it it seemed kind of obvious.

OdysseusNJ

This person also has a Scottish distillery owner quoted in their sig, is nearing God/dess status and doesn't live in the U.S. (I don't think at least, I could be misremembering that last one).

Now you can't hate me forever, OK?

Leilanicandy FTW!!!! Thanks for the clue....I GUESS you're back in my good graces. ;)

Edited because Stella is so right and I'm so durrrr.

Name 3 SWers who are quoting musicians in their signature.

Question away, Lapaholic!

Wah. I thought perhaps he was gonna be enough of a gentleman to spill the answer in Random and let someone else take the credit for his supernatural sense of retention. Ah well, I'll be intrigued to see the question he poses.

That's exactly what I did. My first post in this thread was a question. Then I went up to the RT and posted the question there, thinking you might grab it.

I waited a few minutes and nothing happened. I saw you were still on the site (I can see where you are on the site at all times) but you never went back to the RT so I went back to both and edited them to be answers. I was only going to hand the answer to you, my doll.

I always think of the girl first. It's in my sig line, you know. It's deeply embedded in my DNA. A dysfunction with no known cure.

Oh, BTW, make sure somebody is home tomorrow during the daytime to avoid the Curse of Yekefah. :)

I'm gonna be hauled away to the DMV and waste away the precious hours of my youth? Nooooooo! A fate worse than death!

And I owe you an apology; I see in the timestamp differential that you're quite correct, of course, and gave me plenty of time to scoot my booty over here with the answer. Alas for whatever I was doing at the time!

Ask a question! I must redeem myself!

ColetteCalahan
02-13-2008, 10:11 PM
wow... Go TOO!!! I feel the question was misleading!!!! I admit, in all the long-ass multiple-contributer threads I was reading to try to find this, I didn't see Jay's siggy, but I was also looking for sig lines with ONLY three words... boo!

(ah well, match point to TOO. hehe)

You can go to the DMV after everything gets there. If you're not there when they arrive to deliver, they'll take the stuff back with them and you'll never see it again.

If you do want to see it, you can go to their office, but they won't give anything to you without your signature, your passport, a blood sample, your original Social Security card, a full-body cavity search and a retinal scan.

I'm blushing. I don't know whether to say thank you or to point out that you still have yet to stop stalling and ask a question.

Your charm and kindness are lovely, but we're in need of some trivia!!!

All Good Things
02-14-2008, 01:57 PM
OK, now that my love has responded, I can do trivia.

I thought about doing something Valentine's Day-ish, like how many SW women have posted that they've had sex dreams about me or grabbed the vibe after reading my erotica or seeing my pics. The pathetic thing is, I actually know that number. It's large enough to accept as a winning entry anything within five of the actual number.

Naw, let's make fun of me instead!

I need JZ and FBR to bow out on this one because they were actors in the drama. Is that OK?

In my first post ever to the site, I was trounced on and flamed as a pathetic troll. I wrote a story about how gay guys were hitting on me at the home club and the dancers were giving me shit about it. I said it made me have more appreciation for what it's like for dancers to be pursued in the club by guys they don't want to be pursued by.

I posted it on pink. FBR took one look at it, thought "trip report" and moved it to blue.

The next day I logged on and whispered "....Oh noooo...."

On blue, it was an invitation to a crucifixion. They obliged.

One member in particular came at me so hard that when I responded I said, "Nice flame. My hair is still on fire."

The mods thought it was less amusing, and banned the offender temporarily. I begged both of them to let it go, and re-instate him, but they stuck with their decision.

So here is the question:

Who was this poster who flamed me so mercilessly on my very first post to SW that it got him banned temporarily from the site?

Jay Zeno

Heck, I'd forgotten who it was, so I couldn't have cheated on it anyway.

But TOO, now that my memory is refreshed, we didn't ban him. I don't think we even pointed him. We deleted his posting, something that we wouldn't have done now, and he protested for a while with his absence.

It's enough in the past where Chili and I socialized in stellar fashion on my recent Phoenix trip, .
