Actually no its more grief from the American side.
Eric your an idiot, plain and simple. I don't know a single girl on here who values your opinion at all. The majority think your a moron.
Also whenever I crossed the boarder I was going to see my man. I had no stripper outfits on me, I had nothing but regular clothing, I had my mans phone number, address, date of birth, full name, place of employment etc...
I was still damn near denied boarder crossing. I know many many many girls who had the same issue crossing into the US.
I have no criminal record or any reason at all for them to take a second look at me. Hell I know girls who arnt even dancers who get the same treatment.
Again no one cares if you have dancer friends, no one cares if you've been addicted to peelers for the last 20 years... the only thing a dancer cares about is another DANCERS opinion on a club. Also just because a club doesn't have a lot of customers it doesn't mean there is no money there.

^^^
Younger women traveling alone are targeted as drug carriers. This is actually not contentious. I don't even think it's a secret. My sister gets it too because she sometimes vacations alone. While Canada Customs can access all the municipal licensing bureaus in the country to keep tabs on the licenses that are given out (they are public records) before accepting that unskeptically I'd want to see the policy report. Finally - the Canadian government is not really as concerned as the American government if Canadians are working illegally in the states. They want you to a) pay your taxes and b) pay duties on imported shit. They don't really police for illegal workers leaving the US.
Eric you didn't just leave the topic; you were told to leave the topic and it was eventually locked. I don't know why you have such difficulty with the concept that you do not have a dancers POV no matter how "pro dancer" you think you are.

You're right. I just can't compete with your gigantic intellect. I wish you and Jenny
all the best.

I've thought about working in Canada but I don't know if I can compete with the extras. I'm getting too old and cynical for that shit. Plus I am spoiled now because my club doesn't allow them at all.
And I will also jump on the bandwagon to say that Eric should stay the hell out of these discussions because he's not a stripper. Nobody values your opinion because you come across as being arrogant and condescending. It's like a customer coming into my club saying he can do my job better than me. I don't care if he was a club owner, manager, bouncer, whatever. You've never been a dancer and you don't know how to do our job. End of story.

So now you're making fun of Jenny's intellect? She's a smart cookie and highly educated too. So thanks for proving again you don't know what you're talking about.
PS get a life and fuck off this thread.

well you implied that all canadian clubs are for extras. what do you think? lets ask Scarlett and Cally and everyone else if that was a fair comment.

Maybe my Canadian dancer friends get into the U.S. and back to Canada without any of the trouble a few of you report because they are MUCH nicer people without any of the anger or viciousness some of you display.
If that is the case, then I hope that DHS and ICE keep up the good work.

Sure Eric. Maybe that's it. Or maybe it is because your imagination is not detailed enough to provide your imaginary gal-dancer-pals with imaginary immigration/customs problems. Hey - you have your hypothesis; I have mine.
242 - it is not horribly unfair to be concerned about mileage differences. I think Cally would be the first one to say that Toronto mileage is high. The word "extras" might have seemed a bit wrong because it implies that we're doing something wrong by local standards; but I've advised girls to not bother coming to Toronto because of the degree of contact.

I wasn't trying to insult anyone. Jeez. Chill out and try not to take things personally okay?!
I don't know anything about Toronto but I have a good idea about some of the clubs in Niagara Falls, and those are very extras-heavy.

Actually the reason I no longer work in Southern Ontario is because its a filthy extras ridden hole.
Same reason I no longer work in Edmonton.
IMO a majority of the clubs in Southern Ontario are disgusting and I would never recommend anyone to work there.
Well unless you enjoy grinding a guy till he cums or letting guys grope and suck on your tits for $20 ::)
It takes a certain kind of girl to tolerate the shit that goes on in the clubs there. Its almost impossible to make money without allowing a guy to touch you.

^^Hey now, Ottawa is a grind-free zone. Though we're maybe not 'Southern Ontario'. Our money has gone down since the laws got tightened up, but it's still pretty good. Christ knows we don't need more dancers though. I think 1/5 Quebecois women strip at some point in their youth...at least the ones in Gatineau. Plenty of dancers in this well, is what I'm saying.
Not enough to drive me over the border though. I'd die of embarrassment if someone grilled me about my dancerified underwear. I get pissy enough when they grill me about my imaginary drugs...asking me about my medication, why I need it...wtf? Are they allowed to question my medical history? Sorry...this only bugs when I think about it.

LoL Molly I don`t consider Ottawa Southern Ontario... things get better as you get towards Kingston and Ottawa.
And trust me I hear ya about customs harassing you about personal shit ::)

canada is just the same as any other area in north america, some clubs are going to have more extra's going on then others, or have areas where extra's are more rampant, like any other state or city.

no offence, but i'd stay outta it now, stop trying to get the last word. you're making yourself look bad. honestly, i wish men or non dancers would not both to post on threads having to do with being a DANCER.

Thanks, the other poster is acting as if Niagara Falls represents all of Canada, and I can tell you that it does not!
Vancouver, etc., I always hear Cally and others posting about these no-lapdance clubs they have out west... I can't judge all of America on Detroit, you can't judge the entire dancing scene by one town.

For the record; I get groped regularly but not sucked on. And the vast, vast majority of guys don't come when I grind on them. But maybe that's because I'm doing it poorly.

When I worked with you Jenny I loved the fact you are one of the few girls in Toronto who can make money without being a whore. Its rare to see that.
Jenny

Oh, it's okay baby. I'm still a whore. I'm just a whore who eschews saliva.

OOh maybe I should change my screen name!! Get it?! That would be awesome.
Can you just leave this alone? Really. I didn't say ALL of Canada. I was talking about the area of Canada closest to me. Get over it already.
I think the only way you could be offended by what I said is if you are guilty of doing extras or something. If you don't do them, fine. Whatever. I didn't say you did, or anyone else in your club for that matter.
I find it unbelievable that people are getting pissed about this when I just came from working in the Land of Extras, so obviously I'm not even going to generalize or make assumptions about everybody. I was a clean dancer in an extras-ridden city. You may be as well.

Speaking of - any girls from/around Toronto know a place that opens before 11 AM?
I know it seems unlikely.

For early-morning stripping?
Jenny

Scarlett - why are you always mocking my early morning stripping needs? Just because I need a strip club at 9.00 AM doesn't mean I have a problem.

I don't think any club opens that early in this town...

I've been harrased at the border ever since I showed up with a plane ticket to vegas (departure and return on the same day from Buffalo) they would not believe that I just wanted to try my luck at the casinos, since I had broken up with my boyfriend the night before, and could only afford to go for one day since I had a shift the next night.
I was let through eventually, after they called my club in Toronto and confirmed that I was actually a waitress, and not a dancer (I was waitressing at the time). However, I did miss my plane, and had to sleep in the airport to catch the next flight, which was leaving at 6am in the morning.
I did make money at the tables, although I missed my shift at work.
Now I get harrased every time that I cross the border. It's quite annoying when I'm just trying to get across to the mall in Niagara Falls, USA.
