I need an idea for tonight, something reall simple, and probably not steak (antibiotics and iron bad interaction). And I want it low carb because we had a croissant sammich, french fries, AND brushetta for lunch.
I just noticed you have a blue ribbon. is that new? and why?
i agree, fish is a good idea.
or you to do a baked lemon pepper chickbreast with an easy veggie or two (stemed mixed veggies would be good).
this is my go to meal for simple and yummy. it takes 5 minutes of prep.

I made THE MOST PERFECT broiled tuna steaks. I marinated them in fresh thyme, crushed garlic, minced ginger, good quality dark soy sauce, and fresh lime juice. Then I broiled at 1 minute each side, 3 flips.
Side: stirfry carrots and snowpeas sauted in garlic and shallots. I also got brown rice california rolls for a bit of carb. I arranged it beautifully on a plate. The tuna was shimmery red and transluscent on the inside, perfectly browned on the outside.
Edit: oh, and olive oil too!
This love thing is really bringing out my chef-cock. Yayz!

mmm! Yep, love does that for cooking skills. I was always eating whatever, but now that I cook from Rob too, I almost always make something more involved.

I redefined the grilled cheese sandwich: French double-cream brie and cranberry chutney on sourdough.
And a caesar salad with sun dried tomatoes.

10 pecans and 10 cherry tomatoes. Been doing that a lot lately, sometimes switched up with a cup of grated cabbage and a cup of bean sprouts.

paige, this is not a healthy dieat.
if the rest of your meals are like this, it's really not a diet at all, it's anorexia. I really hope you find help, maybe join a support group. I think you KNOW you need help, and when you post that you ate such little food, it's a cry for help.

He baked chicken breasts stuffed with sauteed garlic and basil, then wrapped in bacon. Bowtie pasta with a sundried tomato alfredo sauce. Definately one of our least low-fat meals, but fucking delicious. I love it when both people eat garlic. They can kiss afterwards and its still wonderful.

I had a piece of pizza and a Mediterranean salad, it was delish. Now I want wine and brownies but me thinks it's not best to drink the night before two job interviews as I may have swollen yuck face in the morning. Although, I'm typing as if I've already been drinking. Stellar.
