I've only met Pauly Shore and Gwen Stefani, Gwen was such a sweetheart.

My boyfriend has met Tim Allen (who was really nice), Master P (his Aunt lives next door in Beverly Hills) and heaps of bands.

I've mostly met a lot of athletes.....mostly NBA and NFL. Almost all of them have been raelly cool but my faves were Chris Bosh and Marion Barber (I'm a huge cowboys fan...I almost died when he initiated a convo with me). The only real asshole I met was Donavan Bailey and he's not even really a big name anymore. OHH and I don't know his real name but the Iceman from X-Men was in my work one day. I didn't really talk to him, but he kept bowing down to my ass...that was funny enough.

Heather Locklear, many years ago when I worked in a bookstore. She was buying a bunch of stuff and claimed it was all Christmas presents. I flirted with her, knowing she was a hot blonde with the greenest eyes... and didn't recognize her. My co-worker punched me in the arm and congratulated me for getting to talk to Heather Locklear. Funny.

Working in a call center a while back, for a computer company that shall remain nameless but is popular amongst celebrities... I got to talk to Burt Reynolds, Will Smith, Crispin Glover... That was fun. Crispin Glover is a complete asshole, but the other two were funny and humble about their lack of computer knowledge.

and were nice :)

I have met...

Celia Cruz (she was a freaking doll! absolutely a wonderful woman, RIP Celia)

Steve Gutenberg (who told off his I guess body guard cause he was like would you relax she just wants to say hi, I got pictures too :) )

Mase (who my friend was such a huge fan and yet he grabbed my arm and kept ignoring her and was like sooo what are your plans this evening? lol)

Victor Manuel (He was absolutely wonderful and very polite and recognized me form when I danced in PR at a Salsa tribute)

Manny Manuel ( I walked in to his dressing room by accident, it was at a hotel and my mom said go behind that door, I wanted the bathroom, but he was also really nice!)

Rey Ruiz ( Now him, I had had an accident and I had a cast on my leg so as I waited in line to get his album autograph the security guy said "come with me, sit her and you will be first" I was like yay bad leg did good thing! He was so freaking cute and wonderful and also asked me out but I had a boyfriend at the time and I said no, can you believe I said no to this! http://u.univision.com/contentroot/locales/art/images/91entretenimiento/2006/08/rey_3.jpg oh well "

I can't remember who else right now but who have you met?

OMG, he's so fucking hot. Love Cuban men. }:D

Do you think Manny Manuel is gay? There were lots of rumors of him being gay. I think he's kind of cute too. But Rey, mmmm.

I've met Kurt Angle right after he won his Gold Medal.
Several retired Steelers, including Lynn Swan.
Mario Lemieux. He's hawt. ;D And HUGE. Been to his house too. Wow. (I worked at a store a town over from where he lives, and had to go over with a small crew to install a pond) His wife is not so sweet, however.
Sergei Gonchar. (Pittsburgh Penguin) His english wasn't so great, and when he did not understand me, he gave me his huge cheeky grin, chuckled, and shrugged his shoulders.
Evgeni Malkin. Nice guy with canned response to "OMGMALKIN!" "Very nice to meet you. Very happy!" English isn't great either. "You come to games?" He tried to hit on me. He's only as old as me. (21)
Sidney Crosby (another penguin) He's younger than me and plays hockey like he was designed by God to play. He is also HUGE. Like looking up at him. his body twice as wide as mine. I'd do him in a second. ;D He's not accustomed to fame AT ALL and gets kind of flustered when you give him adoring doe eyes. It's kind of cute. XD

I knew some more would come to mind..

Pauly Shore - Funny and even more random than me! He was off the hook and got kicked out of Cheetah for getting caught in the Executive Lounge private bathroom doing lines with a dancer.
Sinbad - Great guy and really funny, not hung up on himself at all. Doesn't mind passing up a free VIP to hang with the general population of PL's in the club.
Bubba Sparx - Down to earth and really cool. Not afraid to repeatedly frequent a club obsessing over a dancer. She was super hot, super honest, and super cool so I can't say that I blame him.
Travis Tritt - Cool, down to earth and not stuck up. Doesn't mind passing up a free VIP and hanging out with the general population of PL's in the club.
Charlie Sheen & Emilio Estevez - Know how to party very hard but are really cool. Needless to say they had a large number of private encounters at their hotel after they left the club every night for a week while in town filming that movie "Freejack" with Mick Jagger in it.
Vince Neil - Pretty cool and seriously loves dancers and stripclubs. Sidenote: I know the person responsible for leaking the sex tape with him and Janine Lindemulder... According to Vince and the Hollywood tabloids that information is still not known. I feel so scandalous!
Black Crows - Very nice but the most horrid smelling people I may have ever stood next to, seriously. Several girls went home with them stinking like that! I hope they started in the shower.. Sidenote: the largest brawl in Gold Club history which took up nearly the entire main floor and closed the club started between members of the Black Crows entourage and some random assholes.
Julio Ceaser Chavez - Nice guy and loves dancers. Hooked up with one of the Cheetah's top girls in the early 90's and flew her out to see him for a month. She gave it all up and told us that he is a FREAK in the bedroom and is seriously into pain. (I chuckled last year when those pics surfaced showing him dressed up in women's clothes)
Da Brat - Very cool, very into the club, and very surrounded by a entourage of very dyke-esque friends.
Melissa Etheridge - Awesome!! Strangely and her wife/girlfriend came in the club with a group of the most steroid-head guido-wannabe party boys in the city. It struck me as odd for her to be out with all those dillholes but she was having a great time and her girlfriend/wife even got up on stage for a minute.
Evander Hollyfield - Very cool
Christina Aquilera - Cool but quiet, maybe because they let her in underage.
Madonna - Too cool for school! Awesome but never left VIP, kinda recluse
Kip Winger - Was cool as crap! Ha really showing my age.
Dude from Whitesnake was awesome and I wish I had asked him if he hooked up with Tawny Kitaen. I was such a chicken shit back then.

Unrelated to the clubs, random funny encounters (from friends):

A good friend of mine is a repo man and got the paperwork to repossess two of Michael Vick's cars back in 2005.

Another friend who works the drive thru at my bank was working when one of the Falcon's star players (I can't remember which one) drove up and cashed a $4000 check or something large like that. She sent his cash back through the tube to him and he took the plastic container with the money in it placed it on his front seat and drove off. The bank called him and asked him to bring the container back. When he came back he drove to the drive thru and placed the container back in the chute and sent it back to the teller. He drove off and she opened the container to find all of his cash inside it. They had to call him back a second time so he could come get his money, again.

I've met a lot of NBA and NFL players too. Almost 100% of them were cheap or complete whore-seeking assholes or both.

Steve Gutenburg...was nice. Talking about some project he had coming up..I forget what(it was years ago)

Carson Daly..came in on a slow night in Key West with a bodyguard, which I proceeded to mock him mercilessly for(dude....you really NEED a bodyguard? Has ANYONE recognized you? This was before he had him own talk show). He was awesome! A total good sport who could take it AND dish it back(my fav!). Since it was slow we sat doing shots and getting drunk together while he tipped pretty well and chased the annoying crackhead chick I couldnt stand at that club away! Plus...he wore my panties on his head. Good times...

One of the backstreet boys...Nick I think his name was? They were performing in KW years ago. He was a douch. Completely wasted, ditching his bodyguard(who was all upset later because the Boy got thrown out for something..didnt see what...and he lost him) and CHEAP. Acted like a total ass..enough to get thrown out. And according to his bodyguard..it was far from the first place he'd gotten thrown out of that night. On an island where sobriety might as well be illegal...you have to be pretty bad to get thrown out of a bar.

Who was that senator years ago who was accused of murdering the girl and putting her body in the ocean? Yeah..met him in KW too(most of my celeb meetings have been there oddly enough...you'd think I'd see more in Ft Laud.). His bodyguard was trying REALLY hard to convince me to meet the Senator at his hotel. Ew. I told him I wasnt really in the mood to be raped. killed, and cut in pieces that night. He didnt like that much. But really dude..you're going on trial for murder, maybe trying to find a whore at a strip club on a TINY little island where everyone knows everyone...nto the best PR idea y'know?

I worked background in a movie with:

Harland Williams: Really nice guy, kept coming over to talk to me between takes.

Greg Pitts: Also nice

Ironically I hate stupid comedy movies and I didn't know either of their names when I was on set, had to google it when I got home.

A few NFL players.

One of the guys from Linkin Park in the SC but he was an asshole!

Vyanka, honestly it went down like this.

"OMG I am so sorry! oh you are MannyManuel!" he said

"oh it's ok, hi" then his manager got all "you can't be here! you have to get out! now!

and he was like "Don't speak to a lady that way, you can come in, sit down, relax, why are you here tonight?" and the entire time he was very nice and all flirty so I have no clue!

Oh I met Lucero! and her husband, he was an ass. It was in Vail and my sister was like "That hair! omg look at that lady's hair and her coat, what is that? it's omg that is Lucero!, you go talk to her you have no shame!" so I did and she was like "This si your family? you guys could make a futbol team! lol

This is Lucero, she is gorgeous!

I know celebs are people and they get tired but most times they have to realize that most people will never see them again. The Vail guy, see Luceros husband is also a singer and very well known and a nice hi at least would of gone a long way not a "ugh I came all the way here to not be recognized and you bother me" wtf man.

I haven't met any celebrities thoroughly enough to give a good report on whether I liked them or not, but my friend has met Cannabis (the rapper). Apparently they saw him walking around to somewhere at a concert, and they ran up and told him that they love his music. So he invited them backstage, chilled with them, and smoked them out before he had to perform. My friend says he's very intelligent and articulate in person, and in general a super nice guy. :)

My first reaction was, "none" but Jake Peavy was nice enough... Pretty much the entire defense of the Chargers can eat it, though.

The Good (no particular order)

Nixon was quite cool, his granddaughter played softball with my sister like 20 years ago

Michael Jordan took a ton of time out to talk to me when he was busy.

Dennis Gage, The guy from my classic car, the one with the crazy mustache. Met him this summer. REally cool guy. Was fun to talk to him about his personal favorte cars and such.

The Governator, Kinda cool, was amazed that I was a good 5 inches or more taller than him. He didnt seem intimidating at all in person. But was kinda fun.

Ryan Dunn, One of the greatest guys on the planet.

The Bloodhound gang, Exactly as you would expect them to be, Tons of fun and goofy as hell

The OK
Ed Rendell, Exactly a politician. Pretended to be nice, obviously just wants votes

Rest of the jackass guys

Bush (the first one) , Friendly, but ulterior motives

Charles Barkley Was rude but he had been having a rough couple days at that point.

The BAD

Bam Margera, Long story, PM me if you are curious.

Pauly Shore, Raving asshole about defines it

Will add more later I am sure

I met Jennifer Aniston (she's really super sweet). I met her because she was coming out of a restaurant and we were going in and my daughter ran smack into Jennifer.

I met Vince Vaughn. He's really funny and nice.

I grew up around Michael Jordan. He used to live a few streets away from my best friend. We also babysat his kids a few times. Both he and his wife were the greatest and I was really sad when they moved away.

I met Harrison Ford a LOOONG time ago when he was filming "The Fugitive" in Chicago. He was very nice and I blurted out, "Mom! It's Han Solo!" heh

I also met Oprah Winfrey. When she's not rushing around, she's very friendly and down-to-earth. I would love to work with her.

I'm sure there's more...but I cannot think of them right now.

none of these were at work (ironically, the ones i've met at work are the ones i DIDN'T like.. and i haven't met many at work anyway)

all of these are celebs to me, but you might not know them all, here goes:

-shirley manson (lead singer - garbage, who i'm told i look like all the time) she is super sweet and down to earth. i could hang out with her all day.

-robin finck (guitarist NIN for many years and then GNR) i loooove him. he was incredibly awesome to me.

-both guys from death from above 1979, the guitarist hung out with me for a bit and it was a lot of fun.

-brian molko - (lead singer - placebo) it was at a signing though and so it was all too brief. he said maybe a sentence to me before the line had to be moved foward. still *swoon*

-dave chappelle - hung out with him in his dressing room for like 1/2 an hour. my ex husband (been divorced for over 7 years) is a comedian (no not a famous one). he opened for him.

-jim breuer - my husband and he used to carpool to do stand-up together when jim lived in the area many moons ago. i met him when he toured here and met up with my (at the time) husband.

-twiggy - (bassist, manson and later NIN) i only met him briefly at a NIN afterparty, we talked for maybe 5 minutes. he was interested in my suicidegirlness and talking to me till he saw my BF .. but he was alright nonetheless.

-the vnv nation dudes - but that's been like 38 times since they guest dj a club here often.

that's about it, i think.

and i touched trent reznors hand once, but we haven't met. :P

*wait i forgot... i met stevie wonder when i was like 8 at a MCDONALDS of all places.

Luke Wilson- Just bumped into when I was in LA with a friend, I simply told him he was a nice guy and great actor and shook his hand. He was polite but acted like he resented me talking to him.

Bush Sr.- I got to listen to him talk politics with a friends father. I was to intiminated to say much, but he was nice.

Bush Jr.- It was at a political event, so what can I really say about him.

The two guys who started google, I only got to talk to one of them, but they were both very cool and down to earth.

Ivanka Trump- It was a business situation and I simply concentrated on trying not to drool, but she seemed nice enough.

Harrison Ford- Nice enough guy.

Richard Gere- I didn't actually meet him, I was dining in the same small restaraunt as him. Guy was a total dick, thought just because he was famous that the place should bow to his every demand. If I had been the owner I would have asked him to leave...

I feel like I know John Wayne since I've heard so many stories about him, a family neighbor knew him quite well. Supposedly quite nice.

I hung out with Carson Kressley from Queer Eye for about 15 minutes at J Lo's premiere party for "Monster in Law". He was tipsy and adorable and so sweet. A really nice guy. He has a friend who lives about 20 minutes from me and got a kick out of that for some reason. :)

the ones i met and liked were...
the arctic monkeys

Hee hee, I don't know if any of the musicians I've met count as celebrities, but if you're counting the Arctic Monkeys I guess they do! I would like to agree with Pretty Penny that Shirley Manson is a cool woman who, the first time I met her, in the Garbage 2.0 days, totally enjoyed hearing that strippers loved to dance to Garbage. I was quite starstruck by meeting the guy who produced Nevermind, though.

None of the other names I would drop would mean much to most people but I do have fun making some of the girls in the dressing room get googly-eyed when I talk about my rock'n'roll acquaintances (PDX strippers = indie rock love).

I did meet Ronald Reagan when I was a small child. I suppose you could say just about everything after that was a reaction.

I met Frank Rich once at a party. That was pretty great. And I've given lapdances to two Academy-Award winning screenwriters and a creator of a fabulous television show, though at the time I did so (separate occasions) they weren't bigtime yet.

Leo from charmed, can't remember his name, Bryan something. He actually went and got me a bottle of water because he thought I must be thirsty from working so hard at another job where I had to basically make sure only people with passes could get into vip at dennis quaids party (quiad is one of the biggest a-holes I've met in my life). Then Bryan whatever let me rub his nipples (he had a button up shirt, I opened it, and take pictures while doing that. I just thought it'd be funny, the boss however, did not.

Also al of the guy sfrom the band Blackalicious, Sandra Bullock and the guy who made star wars, George something I forget hi slast name. I actually have never seen a star wars more than 10 min through.

I was quite starstruck by meeting the guy who produced Nevermind, though.

That would be Butch Vig. A long time big wig in the Madison, WI music scene. He also produced a couple of the Smashing Pumpkins albums.

A little trivial info. Butch Vig and Duke Erickson (the guitarist for Garbage) had a band in the 80's called Firetown. Erickson was the singer and they released one album on Coumbia Records (I believe it was called "In The Heart Country") with a minor hit called "I'll Carry The Torch For You."

More trivial info. Butch Vig's studio (Smart Studios) is where they did most of the recording. Before garbage was created they were producing a lot of remixes that were used in dance clubs, etc (in fact they did many of the U2 remixes). Anyway, the result of all these remixes were a lot of "different" snippets of techno style music. They began piecing them together to create songs. They were playing these new "songs" for a friend one day when the friend commented, "it sounds like garbage." Thus, the birth of the band Garbage!

Yeah, I read Susan's post and then made mine....then saw yours...oh well...;)

BUT, did you know about the band Firetown? I saw them at a club in Madison a long time ago. Vig and Erickson also played toger in a group called "Spooner" for many years. They were very popular around Wisconsin and some parts of the midwest.

My favorites are Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey.
She is an abolutely amazing Mom and and Jim is a total sweetheart. They both together and separately, have beautifully magnetic and compelling energy.

I also met (and liked) Cuba Gooding, Morgan Freeman, Tom Cruise (I know, I know, but he was likable in person), Liv and Steve Tyler, Andy Dick, Kevin Smith. That's all I can think of at the moment.

A "celeb" I have met and dis-liked on the other hand: Jenna Jameson.::)

Oh I remembered one more, but it cracks me up. I was like five and I met Cher while she was filming Witches of Eastwick, near where my family lived.

I apparently ate lunch next to Elvis Costello the other day- I wish I had recognized him, lol.

Of the celebs I've talked to, I can only think of the cast of the L word. I liked Pam Grier a lot. Did not like Jennifer Beals. Unfortunately, did not like Mia Kirschner, though I wanted to.
