LOL I am thinking the same thing!!

By the way, for the girls who brought up possible doubt that the boyfriend would be happy and/or willing to take care of the kid -- The OP didn't ask for opinions on what the boyfriend would think...if anything, she started this thread on a very HAPPY note. Why bring her down? If she makes a thread on SW later on concerning doubts/questions about her boyfriend's role in this and she asks for advice/feedback, then it'd be more appropriate to write things like that. But seriously, people acted like that (but 5X worse) when *I* was pregnant 2 yrs ago and it really slighted me and scarred me. (obviously, if I'm still bitching about it 2yrs later) Not to mention how offended the father was when he heard some people ASSuming that I would have to "do it alone" when they'd never even met him. Just saying. If she's happy, let's be happy with her. Stress will do nothing but increase risk of miscarriage(as happened with me).

Thank you for saying that, PhillyDancer. I couldn't agree more.

I think it's realistic to nicely warn the op that her BF may have not taken it so well. Everyone (myself included) who said anything did so nicely and out of concern for the op, in my opinion.

She's very lucky he is so supportive and good about it, no need for people to get all offended by the gentle warning.

I don't necessarily think that all of the warnings were gentle.

But that's just me.

Anyways, I know we're all happy for her fantastic news!
