I didn't read through all the responses, so if this is already figured out I apologize. In short, if you find a religion intriguing, go check it out for a while and do some research. If you're unsure, then you shouldn't "join". If they're cool, they'll invite you to explore and see if it's a good fit.

well shoot, if you can be an atheist Jew then go for it. although-- converting from whatever you are now to Judaism is kind of funny in a red-rover-red-rover-send-the-atheist-on-over.

and on a random note:
Does converting a Christian atheist (or whatever) to a Jewish atheist count in crusades and jihads? I mean, what point value do you bring to the table during a census? :D
