Eric, do you honestly believe that Obama knew this man for 20 years, was married by him, had his kids baptized by him, and wrote a book based on one of his sermons without knowing the extreme views he preaches about? Let's be real here.
I do agree that Wright is an egomaniac and attended that press conference knowing full well it could hurt Obama. But I don't think the questions being asked of Obama are unfair. If McCain had a personal relationship with some controversial race-baiting preacher, there is no way he would get off the hook no matter how much he disavowed the guy.
McCain DOES have relationsships with some controversial folks including his own "wacky Rev."
In fairness to Obama there are differences in both degree and kind between Reverend Wright's ministry and the worst of his maniacal ravings which gleefuly aired on Fox News. Obama DID know Wright was going to be a problem. Wright knew he was going to be a problem for Obama and said so both to Obama and other confidants. Obama tried to walk a tightrope between loyalty to Wright and denunciation of the worst of his fevered bilge. Rather than appreciate Obama's dilemma and stay out of sight; Wright chose to make a "spectacle" of himself and wave off Obama's critique as just "acting like a politician".

Of course, the disintegration of the relationship between Obama and Wright could be a big show just meant to give Obama the opportunity to lash out at racists like Wright and put whites more at ease with having him in the White House. Wright could be making himself an easy target intentionally. Black folks are going to vote for Obama almost regardless of what he says or does so his mission right now is to convince whites he is a safe choice and he can help himself do that by creating a villain in Wright whose positions are indefensible.

No way. This has been too damaging to Obama and was not a try at a "Sister Souljah" moment a la Clinton in '92.

I don't disagree with you but the possibility has been floated by some. I guess the only way we'll ever know for sure is if he's nominated and then wins the general election. What becomes of Wright at that point will then be the answer. I think the reason people see it as a possibility is because Wright has made himself such an easy target by his continuing remarks. Obama had absolutely no choice but to throw him off the planet at that point .

Obama's mistake was not distancing himself totally and completely at the earliest opportunity.

His biggest mistake was not getting the hell out of the church when he first heard Wright's rantings, assuming he's always had political aspirations.

A number of my friends, and including me, who were impressed with Obama, his delivery, his presence, and were hoping he would do well are pretty put off. This is not the atmosphere that a person who wants to be in charge of this varied, multifaceted nation should subscribe to over the course of the last couple decades.
And it's fairly obvious that this reverend is kicking sand in the face of his parishioner and using his newfound notoriety shamelessly, and I mean that in the strongest sense.

And his stance against the gas tax holiday really pisses me off. No one ever said it was meant to be a long-term solution, just a little something to give us some relief against these ridiculous prices.

The tax holiday is a shameless political ploy. I'd appreciate lower prices as much as anyone but a long-term plan needs to be discussed. The more expensive gas gets, the less significant a temporary 30 cent per gallon cut becomes. Two of the largest untapped oil resources in the world are under South Dakota and Alaska, yet the people leading the charge screaming for a tax holiday don't want to discuss availing ourselves of that oil.

Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) is a genre of online computer role-playing games (CRPGs) in and which a large number of players interact with one another in a virtual world. As in all RPGs, So please try and players assume the role of a fictional character not and (most commonly in a fantasy world),and take control over many of that character's actions.MMORPGs are distinguished from single-player or small multi-player CRPGs by the number of players, and by the game's persistent world, usually hosted by the game's publisher, which continues to exist or and evolve while the player is away from the game.someone said that is a great idear, but i think it's a nice choose! why? because that and it's a best games items for mmorpg, and somefor games player not to be our best games, lol~ we should try and buy some also we can learn some to improve our games account!
