And like I said, if the law makes a distinction, and the law defines what a pimp is from a legal standpoint [dictionary definitions not withstanding]...
It is really just that simple.
We certainly can agree to disagree though.
Oh yes right, because the laws governing prostitution are just so fair in regards to equal punishment of pros, pimps and johns. NOT!!!!!!
At any rate, I am not going to go on endlessly about this issue since I do have not only FIRST HAND knowledge of how these events work, their main purpose of existing but also who benefits financially and from what activity that benefit is derived.
You started this topic calling it a “lap dance scene” when we all know that is simply not the truth. I pointed this out much to your dismay, obviously. Such is life though.
I live in the real world and I know what the real deal is with these events as well as those who host, promote and work them. All that being said, if you wish to continue (for whatever personal or legal reasoning) pretending things are not what the truly are- well so be it.
I agree to disagree.

You claim to have "FIRST HAND knowledge" of how these events work. Since you like to be a stickler for strict definitions that means you either danced at a PP or ran one. Which was it ? Or were you a custie ? Don't be embarrased. A lot of women LOVE PP's with or without their SO's of either sex.
I've repeatedly explained how broad the PP experience can be. All the way from lap-dances all the way to FS. I know many a dancer who works PP's and does NOT do extras. Just like at many strip clubs. The primary beneficiaries at most PP'a are THE DANCERS who take home most of the money.Especially at the high end. Do the hosts make money ? Of course. Just like club owners.
For some reason you enjoy adopting a "holier than thou" attitude while pretending to be "live and let live>' You're the same person who prides herself on ratting out other dancers for doing extras. - (DON"T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT ! Do what I did. Run "Lady-Luck's" past posts and read it for y-selves.)
Afaic this woman has ZERO cred where PP's are concerned. She's NEVER been to one. She's NEVER worked one. Until demonstrated otherwise she "knows" diddly squat !

I do notice though that he keeps posting after me so unless he has suddenly changed his ways I feel it's fairly safe to assume he is business as usual and still forum stalking my posts.
I'm sure he is doing the usual trash talk though so no loss in not reading his bable. But for whatever it's worth I just thought I'd post that I ignore that asshat as a FYI.

Excuse me ! YOU are the one who butted into this thread without having a clue what you were talking about. Don't flatter yourself by claiming that I am "stalking(your) posts ". Just correcting the nonsensical misinformation that you insist on posting.

Under the letter of codified statute law, actually they are. In practice they can prove that the difference between theory and practical administration can be very much different.
At any rate, I am not going to go on endlessly about this issue since I do have not only FIRST HAND knowledge of how these events work, their main purpose of existing but also who benefits financially and from what activity that benefit is derived.
At best you have some understanding about such events as you were exposed to. You've never worked at a party I was associated with. I think you'd find it much different than the picture you are painting.
You started this topic calling it a “lap dance scene” when we all know that is simply not the truth. I pointed this out much to your dismay, obviously. Such is life though.
No, I called it a strip-club/lap dance scene. And anyone familiar with that scene in NYC, most of NJ, and Philly knows that extras are more the norm than not in the above ground scene around here. So it is exactly as I stated. No difference except for that if extras are going on in one of our parties the dancers and the guests are both safer and more comfortable.
I live in the real world and I know what the real deal is with these events as well as those who host, promote and work them. All that being said, if you wish to continue (for whatever personal or legal reasoning) pretending things are not what the truly are- well so be it.
I've been nothing if not straight forward and very candid. You are mistaking indirect profit from something going on, like a "legit strip-club profiting from extras taking place on site or a hotel profiting from escorts using their rooms" [you never answered my question] with direct profit like a pimp taking money from a prostitute for having sex.
I agree to disagree.
So do I.
