Well, I got a peanut butter hand, but honey do drop in at the Dew Drop Inn!

2. if You go outside and its raining do you get wet ?

Girl, you've got to know when it's time to turn the page, when you're only wet 'cause of the rain.

3. bottled water or tap ?

Your walking on the water bit: by far my favorite one. But now it seems we're drowning in a drop of water, love.

4. to be or not to be ?

There's a frog on my toe. Maybe I'll call him Jethro.

5. why " RoseWhite" ?

*switches playlists for a sec* Rose White, Rose Red, rose up in my head . . . (I am also a big Hole fan. So for the postfeminist fairytale reference, the Hole reference, and the fact that in an alternate universe my actual real-life name would truly have been Rose. First stage name as well.)

6. how do you love a man that has to ask? " Where did my balls go?"/:O

She said they all think they know him well - she knew him better, better, better.
Everyone wanted something from him. I did too, but I shut my mouth. He just gave me a smile. ;)

Oh, and P.S.

Did I answer your question?

well :beat: me silly. i am blown away with your answers. you so have a new fan in me. ;) i am no good with Lyrics unless the song is playing.

so have you seen Tori in concert -?- [ me ? almost 30 times 8) ]
so i know you have a lot of her CDs. do you have any live Bootleg CDs -?-

I'm skipping around a lot, I know - working on a laptop that's not mine is confuzzling. I have a lovely leisurely Saturday morn in mind tomorrow where I get to take my time with the rest of these much appreciated questions.

When are you due?

Do you know if its a boy or girl yet?

When is Mast going to make an honest woman of you and cough up the diamond ring?

What do you miss most while pregnant?(caffine, sushi, seeing your feet..lol!)

1. Technically May 5th - Cinco de Mayo! Arriba! But if you calculate it another way, it may be May 11th - which is Mother's Day! HOWEVER: my midwives (whom I trust implicitly) seem to think I may actually be a little earlier than either . . . YIPE!

2. I do not! We want to be surprised. I also want to reduce the amount of pink fairy princess crap I'm likely to get it it's a girl (and the inverse if it's a boy). ;) Some amount of it is inevitable, I know, but at least I can try to let my baby just be a baby for a few months, at least.

3. WELL, ya know. As he's already alluded, some sort of unconventional approach is definitely called for & in the works, I'm sure!

4. SUSHI, man! And the kind of exercise I'm normally used to! I've had exactly one half a beer my entire pregnancy, though I know I technically COULD have a single drink once in a great while & be fine . . . I probably will have a glass of red wine on my birthday! ;D

Damn everyone already asked my questions.

1. Can we get those mini-strippers shoes for the bebe?

2. Favorite holiday?

3. If you could have caffiene/alcohol right now, what would it be?

4. What do you think of this whole preggers thing, as an experience? Worth it for the bun? Or a terror? Good times?

1. Now that's an image! Dress-up will be fun indeed, either boy or girl.

2. THANKSGIVING! All the yummies, none of the religious baggage, no rampant materialism.

3. A nice drink would be just the thing - I do allow myself a cup, or even two, of half-caf every day (midwife-approved moderation, dontcha know). ;)

4. WORTH EVERY ITCHY, CRABBY, BLOATED, PARANOID SECOND. ;D It's honestly a lot harder than I ever thought it would be (I've had a few issues come up, including one that led to 4 months of pelvic rest and no exercise), but trust me, I'd do it all over again.

I was gonna ask, "If you were not preggers and could guiltlessly order a cocktail right now, what would you have?"

Also, if you could live anywhere in the U.S. (other than where you now reside), where would you move?

Finally, as a dancer, did you have a sure-fire way to get a custie off the fence and buy a dance?

1. Hmmm. Tough to chose just one! Well, since we've established that an occasional glass of wine or beer is actually okay (though I err on the side of rarely), I'll pick the hard alcohol I'd have: a glorious margarita. Rocks. Easy on the salt. Preferably with premium quality tequila and Grand Marnier. Best enjoyed with copious amounts of Mexican food of course!

But then, what if I'm enjoying my forbidden sushi? Then it has to be sake . . . (And on and on.)

2. Easy! Within the US, I'd move to Portland, OR for sure. Two of my best friends in the world live there AND some of my favorite SWrs too), I visit regularly (well, not in the last 3 years, but at least once a year for a good stretch before that) and I just adore the whole state, along with the city itself. I'd also be closer to every branch of my family, who are all out west and divided between Denver, Utah, California and (most recently) Austin ,Texas.

3. I wish. ;) I mastered the stage; I never mastered sales. I do resolve to get better about that aspect of the job when I return . . .) I swear I'll be better about reading Hustle Hut when that time comes! Oh yes I will!

1. Who are your heroes?

2. What's with the cowgirls?

3. Can you get pregnant from swimming in a pool with boys?

1. My birthmom is my primary personal hero. Whenever I think about it, it stops me in my tracks, just how courageous and selfless she was was give me up for adoption when she was just 16. The fact that she went on to be an amazing mother of 4 of her own children, and that she continues to champion unfortunate children through her work as a prosecutor specializing in all kinds of child abuse - that all just compounds her impressiveness. AND, amazing cook. I am so lucky to have a relationship with her now.

2. Hee hee, well, see above re: family out west, and where I was born & grew up. I think if anyone's entitled to rock some assless chaps, it is I.

3. Is THAT how this happened?!?

Are you ready for Script Frenzy? You'd damn well better write that story!

:paperbag:

I was afraid of this . . . I am just not going to be able to do the actual Script Frenzy this year. Consensus among my healthcare providers is that el bebe will be coming along earlier than we thought, and dear gods I have so. much. to. do. I just can't commit to it! :ashamed: Have you lost all respect? I'm not saying I won't still write the story, but this month, well, it's just not feasible.

I hope there's another incentive-promoting event like this again, preferably before next April - I really do want to do it! How's your "Connected" coming?

Yay! I was just asking myself the other day when you were gonna be POTW. I knew it was gonna happen soon. And then like magic I find this thread....holy shit I'm lame thinking about SW while I drive. *cough*I'msuchadork*cough*

Anyhoooooo -

Who is your favorite visual artist?

Are you allergic to anything?

Do you think your baby is a boy or girl based on how you feel or any dreams you've had?

What is your happiest childhood memory?

Hahaha, I'm just glad to know I'm not the ONLY dork.

Lessee . . .

1. Now THAT is every bit as hard as choosing an author! MAN. Especially since I go through phases . . . I'd be better off picking my favorite(s) from each period, I think, as in Renaissance: Michelangelo. Impressionism: Van Gogh and so on. I'm partial to contemporary stuff that has classical value, if that makes any sense.

Recent favorites: Robert Rauschenberg, Matthew Barney, and Bill Viola (I know including film as medium stretches the definition a bit, but it's not like he relies on narrative).

2. Dammit, until TWO YEARS AGO I was able to say "Nope!" Serves me right for getting smug about it. I just started to get seasonal sneezing & runniness, though it's not so bad that I've felt the need to get it diagnosed. Just hay fever, I guess? Bleh. :P That's it, though - i know I'm lucky.

3. I am LEANING towards boy. Though I think this is more my sheer terror at having a teenage daughter than anything else. I was pretty awful, even if things in my environment might have justified or at least explained a lot of the difficulty, but STILL. I would do anything to take back some of the things I said to my mom now. That poor woman.

Here's more of why the thought of a girl freaks me out: Baby will, even within a wide range of possible birth dates, be a Taurus. *I* am a Taurus. 2008 is the Year of the Rat. *I* was born in a Year of the Rat. So if it's also a GIRL on top of all that? We're talking serious karmic payback.

4. Performing in my school's talent show in the fourth grade. I had just started taking voice lessons, and I sang "My Favorite Things", complete with (minimal) choreography by my voice teacher. I don't even remember being nervous, it's almost like it was the last phase of innocence, before insecurity and crises of confidence started kicking in. At that moment, I knew I could sing well, and there was no guile or false modesty about it, nor was there arrogance. No agenda. It was so simple then, I had a talent, and I shared it, and everyone enjoyed it.

THEN things started getting sticky . . . ;)

1. When are you tellin mast the kid is mine?
2. When I roll thru the area will you be my lot lizard?
3. How did I end up with someone as cool and hot as you as one of my dearest friends?
4. why cant i open my dr pepper?

1. We'll take that to the grave, my dear. To the GRAVE.

2. Only if I can empty the 'freedom leg bag" on your Stadium Pal.

3. Awwwws. (You won me in a bet, remember?)

4. I think it has something to do with a Guns N Roses cross-promotion (http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?t=111401). (Axl Rose/Rose White. Coincidence? Hmm.)

RoseWhite

Boy or girl? What do you plan on naming him/her?

&

Where is your hometown?

Dunno yet! We're waiting for the big reveal in the moment . . . And it will likely be either Sam or Lily, unless we suddenly get some big brainstorm for something else.

And though I moved around a bit early on, it was Denver from age 4 until college.

If you could invite any deity over for a cup of tea, which would it be and what kind of cookies would you serve?

Ganesh! The remover of obstacles. ;D I would serve vegan snickerdoodles.

When are you coming to visit me again?

When the above happens, will you be bringing a muzzle for Mast?

Can I teach the baby how to belch? (Unless of course, Mast beats me to it)

If you had to eat only one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

1. Christmas, baby! Depending on how the baby does when we go to Texas in October to visit my Dad . . . but I'm optimistic. I'll do the usual fly to Denver with a drive to Provo in the middle. As long as daddy can drive so I can sit in the back to tend to the wee bairn. You'll be kept in the loop, of course!

2. I can't think of a better use for pacifiers.

3. Au contraire! I think the kiddo might be able to teach YOU a thing or two.

4. Cheese. I know I should say tofu, but I cannot.

Hey RoseWhite!

What's your favourite swear word?

Do you speak any foreign languages?

Can you remember the best dream you've had?

1. MERDE!

2. Well. I am not proud of the fact that I am not fluent in ANY - yet. It's on the lifelong goal list. I'm basically a blithering idiot in about 4 additional languages. Spanish, French, German and Italian - I can get by with basic travel conversation in all of them. There's no excuse for it really, especially since I'm pretty good with them in general & can pick things up fairly well.

What do you call someone who speaks three languages? Trilingual. Two languages? Bilingual. One language?

American.

3. I actually have an answer that is so cheesy it's embarrassing: When I met my Irish biological relatives for the first time - the first biological connection I had ever made - I dreamt that night of Ireland, in the most over the top way you can imagine. Rainbows, music, green rolling hills, dancing, and pots of gold. It sounds so unbelievably silly, but it was just a feeling of pure joy and acceptance. That's the only way I can describe it.

Oh, of course I haven't lost all respect, especially since I'm dropping out of Script Frenzy as well. Screenwriting is just such a difficult, miserable experience for me and I simply haven't done enough prewriting on either of my two projects. I decided to write Connected as a novel instead, and I'm giving myself a June 1 deadline for the first draft. I was still having problems with it, but this morning I had an experience that brought the whole damn thing where it needed to be; I realized the source of all my three years of problems with it and how to fix the problem. So I guess you could say it's going well.

And there is another incentive-promoting event - ! It's every November so you can always just write you a little novel then! Should be a simple thing with a seven-month-old, no sweat! ;)

Are you more excited than nervous about becoming a first time mom? Or more nervous than excited?

When are you coming back this way?

If you could have one thing in the world...what would it be?

1. Definitely more excited than nervous! But there are nerves too . . . overall I'm looking forward to everything. Even the childbirth part. Call me crazy, but I am (now that my placenta is copacetic and we're absolutely in the clear for a home delivery).

2. I'd love to say soon, but I just don't know yet! Possibly in the late summer? As in well after YOUR babe has arrived? ;D

3. Knowing that I will indeed leave behind a fertile patch of grass and a happy child.

Oh yes indeed, but not nearly as many as you. Only 5 shows altogether over the years.

And yes, I do have a few bootlegs! Haven't unearthed them in a while, though - you've inspired me to go digging later.

What a nice treat this was! Thanks again y'all! Now do I mention my pick here, or PM it to High Heel Lover? I'm still torn between three people - hopefully I can decide by tomorrow? Is that okay?

I hope they enjoy. ;D

I think you PM HHL with your choice for next week.
