I just have a quick question for parents.... Don't your kids have to vaccinated to even enroll them in school? Just curious.
No...that's what Vaccination Exemptions are for.

My point is that she shouldn't be writing books saying she cured her son's autism. She shouldn't be rattling on like she's anything more than she is. She's not a doctor. She's not a scientist. And going on about it like she knows what causes autism and knows what cures it is very irresponsible. Her whole book is full of opinions presented as facts. And that is bullshit.
LOL...About 100% of the books on the shelves these days are opinions presented as facts. What's your point?
She's a mother who has a vaccine damaged kid and she found a way to help her child, so she wrote a book about it. Welcome to America.

I'm of the mind that while in some cases there may be a relation, for the most part the increase in autism cases can be attributed to the massive expansion of what is included in Autism spectrum disorders. I'd dare say that while autism spectrum disorders are on the rise, the most severe and classic "Autism" cases are fairly static in number. There are plenty of people in the world with autism spectrum disorders that are fully functional members of society with only minor issues in relating with people.
Study, please?
Other than that...Is the expansion of what is included in ASD because they happen naturally or was it expanded because of what was happening as a result of certain people not being able to effectively clear out toxins from their bodies.
This is why a lot of parents find that if their child has some form of ASD, the diet, chelation, and other interventions work well. It may not "cure" it, but it helps in ridding the body the necessary toxins.
I still don't understand how anyone can think flooding anyone's body with heavy metals and other toxins will have no side effects. Especially when it is done on a newborn/infant whose nervous system and brain functions are still developing...

He died momentarily. They were able to bring him back.
Oh wow..I didnt know that.
I think its good whenever celebs use their celebrity for good...shes bringing awareness to autism, which is good. Better then Paris types who just party away and dont even try to do any good.

^^I agree. I don't know much about autism but if she has found something that's been working for her son and other people and wants to share it, why not? She never said it's the cure and that it'll work for everyone. In fact she said the complete opposite.

a study for what? that there are plenty of people on the spectrum functioning in society? i'll look it up later, but that's true.
lysondra's ex (or whatever he is) has aspergers. a child at my school, both his parents are autistic. temple grandin is a famous example.. she's done some amazing lectures on autism, and she's autistic herself.
the expansion is because say, before, a child would've been classified with a learning disorder or something like that. now that we know more about autism, the spectrum has grown, so more children are getting a different diagnosis than they would have in the past.
