I am not into the whole pole work thing at all.... I like floor work a lot better. So, do guys really care about seeing a girl do pole tricks that much???/:O

I did not read past the first post so this may have been stated. I don't really care either, but sometimes it is a good indication of the quality of the lap dance. If she can't move on the pole then I won't buy her a dance no matter how attractive she is. I would rather have an average looking woman than can move, than a pretty one that I can ignore even they are sitting in my lap.

i do pole tricks for me and to stay in shape, and it is damn frustrating when you work that pole and get no tips.

i may start reconsidering it, my joints are getting pretty effed up.

SO SO SO much of this depends on the area you are in.

I normally dance in PDX, which is VERY stage centric. Usually there's at least one girl per club with a lot of tricks. Some crowds like it, some don't. Usually I do a trick or two to get a measure of the crowd. If they dont notice, or applaud a little, I'll make a point of interacting with those on the rack, and not really do a whole lot more.

IF they applaud and put more money up, then I keep showing off.

PDX audiences are pretty jaded though. So usually if i do a pole trick its because i like doing the tricks.

When i danced elsewhere, people LOVED my pole tricks, and it drastically increased my earnings, because fewer girls there do them. It was a great selling point. "Thanks, i have fun playing on the pole-wait till you see what i can do in the couches!"

Also, side note-I have a fairly "innocent" look, so i also do the tricks to show that i'm NOT "new to the game" Nights when i do a lot of pole stuff, i get less of the "well all the other girls let me do that..." or "don't worry its legal" assholes trying to pull a fast one on me. They know i already know better.

Really though, too much of any one thing is bad. If you do pole tircks, DONT IGNORE YOUR AUDIENCE. Incorporate them into it, and make SURE to go up and htank them/introduce yourself while its still fresh in their minds. THere IS a happy medium.

And yes, falling out of pole tricks can be good for sympathy tips. It doesnt happen to me very often, but when it does, i get some goooood sympathy tips and have a whole hustle based off it.

I love pole work. If you want stage money from me the pole is a good start. Dances come from other things, though.

Yes! Great pole work can lead to stage tips, but it has nothing to do with dance selection for me.

YES!
I care about "pole work" if the dancer puts on a good show on stage, even if she isn't my cup of tea she gets a tip, if she comes up and asks me if I want a dance, I will go for 1 song because of the good show.

I rarely will go for a dance with a girl who doesn't work the stage, or does a pony walk show, if I just want to see naked girls walk around, I have the internet, I go to a SC to be entertained, something I'm not going to see at a local bar.

I frequent one SC that I always take this newish girl for a dance after she gets of stage, because she really puts her heart into her stage work, she sucks at lap dances but that is how they really earn there bucks at this club so I give the money over with a little padding because she gives a great stage show.

I used to do a ton of brilliant pole tricks but after a few close "ooh I could have broken my neck" type falls (yes usually after a few too many drinks or going on stage after the girl who was wearing baby oil). I decided it really wasn't worth the potential risk.
I never got any extra cash from it so I really don't care that I no longer hear the "woooooo, you rock!" screams from the crowd, or the 100 questions after on "how do you do that" "do you work out", " how long did it take you to learn...?"

Nope, I could care less about pole work. Id rather spend the time turning the customers on with my body and giving them attention.

IMO pole tricks are cool and all , but is by no means the deal maker. I would much rather see them working the rail.

If it's good, then we like it. Especially when it's either very athletic, or sexual. But it's not necessary. We don't say "Hey, let's go to the strip club and see how well they can climb the pole."

I Find watching a Lady perform Pole Work to be very entertaining AND I appreciate and respect the hard work and athleticism that is involved too!
Maybe I am in the minority here...but I do like it.

^Would it make a difference in whether you buy a dance from her?

I'd say it depends if you are good at the pole and working on it and look great while doing it I'd off course love to see it! Otherwise don't...

I like pole tricks mostly for the fact that I find them fun and I feel like a kid on a jungle gym. Some of the guys think that it looks really cool when I personally don't find it too hard. It keeps me from getting board. I also like stage tips because often I prefer doing the physical work over trying to get into these guys heads.
