also, i feel like i'm either out of the loop or am a giant fucking hippie. am i the only person on this board who doesn't have a problem with anyone? i mean, not kissing ass or anything (HOLYGODFORBID). maybe i'm just not as involved/invested. i just keep reading all these threads and being torn between so many decent people at odds with each other.
at least, from where i sit........ which is apparently obliviousville.
Right there with ya :D Had no idea anyone else was even leaving :'(
This sort of exodus has happened several times on every forum I've ever been on though. I AM miffed that several articles and the club reviews don't work... but that's about it.
Sorry Bridgette that you're feeling jilted :-\ can't really say I know what it's all about

pretty_penny, I also don't hate anyone. :-)
Bridgette, I won't try to convince you not to go; I'll say I really do appreciate your contributions, but I understand with your relationship with the site it's less like walking out of a clubhouse and more like cutting off from an ex-lover, with many historical highs and lows. We shall miss you, though.

Bridgette, I will be very sad to see you go. I always love reading your blunt insightful responses, and agree with you about not liking the direction the site has been going. For a couple of years now, things have been gradually sliding downhill imo.
I think this site would be better if we could weed out all the non-dancers and take it back to a stripper site.
The way the site was a few years ago was the bomb.
Now...it's like never leaving the club.
Venus, ita. As long as retired dancers are welcome, that is. ;D
Now it is like being exposed to the mindless giggly flirting and backstabbing of the club constantly. NOT FUN!
I've also felt for a while, that some of our drama causing members may not be of age. I know there is no way to prove one way or the other, but I constantly find myself thinking that I would have had the same reaction to many things when I was 14 or 15. Not sure if this thought has occured to anyone else. :-\
To everyone else: I want to apologize. I feel like I at least partially triggered this newest bout of drama by mentioning my concerns with the site in the "Everyone is leaving" thread.
I just really want everyone to stay and help reclaim the site we all used to love so much.

Bridgette you will definately be missed. I always appreciated your advise in HH - this is what this site is supposed to be about, support for dancers. Sure I enjoy the lounge too but this is more important.
It's a real shame for SW that you are leaving. Best of luck.

The person(s) who mentioned this seemed like something that was a long time coming: Yes. It was. I've been less and less happy here for quite a while, and been stifling MANY issues for way too long. I don't personally do well with stifling shit - I need to get it out, and when I'm told I can't, or that I have to take it elsewhere, or am just plain bitchslapped for expressing it, I feel bad. This bad feeling has been growing for a long time and I can't hold it any longer.
I have waited a VERY long time in hopes that things would improve with the community and they haven't, in fact they've only gotten worse. I can no longer wait around on changes that are "coming". Changes have been "coming" for entirely too long. YEARS.
I have wanted for a long time to buy the site myself, or at least buy enough share to be able to step up and do something about the problems, but that was never even considered as a possibility. I admit that offended me because of the personal investment I have made with this community - the time, the input, the spreading of info, the simple wiling away of hours on end. There are SO many other things I could've spent that time on over the last 6 years, and I chose to spend it here. Of course that was all my choice and I own it, but god damn if I don't feel that should be worth something. I mean, the site's owner hasn't even spent 6 years here - he spent a good 3 maybe, before largely disappearing.
TOO, your words feel empty and false to me. You have spent entirely too much time in the last year or two beating your chest and posting shit that could and would manipulate people here for me to take anything you say seriously. Unless of course it's that you're going to send me some extravagant and frivolous "gift" for which I should feel forever and ever indebted to you. Why do you think I wouldn't accept your offer to help me out when my car broke down on the way to Vegas for the stripperfest last September? It wasn't because I couldn't have used the help - it was because I felt the price was too high. Anyway, bottom line is, I feel that you are only saying those things in this thread to maintain the rep you have so carefully and expensively built here - not because you give a shit about me or what I think.
I wouldn't expect that everyone would be able to relate to the issues I'm bringing up here. This site is way too big for everyone to have seen all the things that go on, all the nuances in interactions, all the history. And most people simply don't spend as much time here as I (and some others) do (did).
At any rate, I feel my presence here will no longer be productive and it is time to move on. There are other things in the works which will keep me entertained online, and I know how to keep in touch with the several of you I've gotten to know outside of here. For those of you I didn't get to know so well, there are WAY TOO MANY TO COUNT whose input and personalities I enjoyed, and will miss.
I am glad I got to know so many cool people and make the friends I have via this website.
This is my last post, #14,519. Kinda feels like breaking up from a very long and serious relationship :D Bye!

The drama of late seems to come from dancers. What you propose would have little effect on the current situation.
Anyway, doesn't matter to me. I've restricted my activities mainly to the Lounge and SCJ recently, and my lounge visits have been fewer and fewer. I only come back to keep up with my favorite posters, some of whom are leaving or have left.
It's an INTERNET forum folks. The beauty of that is that people can come here anonymously and have freedom to say what they want. The problem is that people can come here anonymously and have the freedom to say what they want. (As long as it doesn't push the moderator's hot button!)
With freedom comes responsibility.

I must disagree (in the nicest way possible). The presence of too many (often hostile) custies has changed the tone of dancers posting-less helpful, more showoffy and mean.

Dear Sw-ers?
However, many others say it and really have no intention of taking breaks, or going away. And its' like a parade has to follow. Threads upon threads of it. Why not take your well wishes and please stays to an email or to the inboxes? Is it really that needed to fill up a board with the same banter? If someone truly wanted no drama, or was sick of it they would go about it in the most calm, reasonable manner possible. Not doing so is pretty much a clear sign of their true character.
Or maybe they don't feel like they have to stick to PM's and emails. See, since you are an outsider, you don't understand. Back in the day, if a poster didn't log on at least every other day the board worried about them till they did post again. So to say they publically need a break, is no biggies for me.
It seems as though the reasons why there is so much dramatics, is due to an influx of new people and barely no longer new people. The riff begins. I honestly don't see the "vets" being cruel. I see people that have been here a year or less with high post counts being cruel, spited and the girls we roll our eyes at in the dressing rooms. The internet mimics real life. some of these girls are quiet till they feel they have been through their probation, then their true colors show.
IMO there would be less drama if, you held no high position to simply say to those you ARE friends with in PM's that you are leaving the site, please be in touch. Why the threads? With the exception of Bridg who has been here as long as she has and her position...there is really no need. Without a doubt those that say they are departing are lurking waiting to see the drama unfold. It feeds them. And while you believe you know someone so well, truth be told (and its been said in several threads) you never really know anyone till it's all said and done with. Even then you are almost left puzzled. People let you see what they want your perception of them to be.
IMO there would be less drama if baby posters and baby strippers gave respect where it is due. But respect, like chivalry is lost in 2008.
This is a place where like any other forum, or online community there are more opinions being thrown around in a shit storm because we are almost fictional characters. There is no hard feelings, no having to run into one another later at work or real confrotations going on. It's just WORDS. Not true at all. I know quite a few people here PERSONALLY. Like met and talked to IRL.
The scenerio I can relate this to, just to simplify it is this. We are all in a locker room. When the new girl leaves or the girl that's "gifted" from a REGULAR or said something stupid the night prior...everyone (who isn't out on the floor making money..aka going to work that day) sits and makes cracks behind their backs. Then later ass kisses to smooth it over.
Not everyone does that, sorry that you work in a club that allows that bullshit.
I do not know TOO. I think it's great he helped out those that needed it. BUT, he did it in a chest thumping way as in "look at me". Personally in reading the posts, I feel if he would keep it private this would be little issue. But when it's almost thrown in others faces, or seems as so..it does strike as that regular that comes in showers everyone gifts and doesn't tip you a fucking dime. If you are going to bring something to class, be prepared to share with everyone. Otherwise, keep it on the down low. Doing that (the keeping it to yourself) makes it where it's personal to that person. A true gift and it can't be taken as a "Look at me!". Gifts are given out of generosity not to boast. I think if TOO wants to make girls here happy, that is HIS business, and no one else's but the gift receiver. Just like a regular at the club, TOO can gift whomever he wishes, and there really isn't much that can be done about it. It's his nature; I fail to see (besides jealousy) what the problem is. Oh and FYI, no; I haven't ever received anything from him, nor do I expect to.
This isn't exclusive to SW this is on a lot of forums. Beyond trolls, there are egos and personalities we all create and live through. Sometimes all of that gets in the way. And sometimes people take it to heart, or whatever.
If you don't want to add to the drama, or cannot have an open mind and share opinions with others to expand yourself (doesn't mean you have to agree) then say nothing at all. Manners. They should spill over onto everything you do. Whatever. A varying opinion does not equate to no class or manners.

I could be wrong. It's just my opinion from what I've seen. The problem here is that it's hard to understand what the flashpoints were if you are not on here all the time. Threads get locked and deleted, and it's easier to find the reactions than the origin.

I have to agree. I started posting a year ago. I STILL have mad respect for the ladies on this board and never have thought I was better than a single person (either above me or below me in post count)
I see a lot of new people on here, which is positive in it's own way, talk down to other girls, make threats or snide remarks.
This probably doesn't help, I don't know I just wish something could be done.

It's not even about post count, cause I remember a few posters from back in the day that were acting shitty quite a bit too, but you can tell who has and who hasn't danced for a long time cause of their opinions on certain things. Take for example at my club the other night, all the girls were throwing a fit wanting to start a stripper union at our club. They asked me and 2 other "old school" girls, we were all against it, but all the newer girls were for it. You could tell who had danced longer and who hadn't, lol.

I'm trying! I love disagreeing with people, honestly, but I don't like the current fashion of it!
There ARE a lot of jealousy/girl issues/whatever, but a lot has to do with the population, at least from what I can see. There is a difference from when I used to post here (2005 for a little bit) and now.

K sorry I have to say this one last thing.
I think if TOO wants to make girls here happy, that is HIS business, and no one else's but the gift receiver. That's all fine and good. Except that TOO goes out of his way to make it everyone else's business here. Which makes it painfully obvious he doesn't send his so-called gifts just to make girls happy, but that he does it to manipulate people, to make himself look cool, to attract a following of girls who will kiss his ass in hopes of receiving similar "gifts".
I put gifts in quotes here because his "gifts" clearly come with a price. True gifts don't come with ANY strings attached, spoken or unspoken.
TOO is a fraud.

I just have one request:
Please mods don't delete Bridgette's posts! She has given invaluable knowledge of wealth to the site that I know myself and probably many other strippers have used. I can not imagine how much more money we have been able to earn thanks to Bridg's posts.
And as far as the baby poster vs veteran poster threads go, I highly doubt that Bridgette or Katrine's departure had much to do with new posters considering that she mentioned issues that she has had for years here. This should be a place where we can all exchange information and learn new "tricks of the trade", things that I have learned lots from both Bridg and Katrine. Bridge has probably single handedly added more usefull information to the site and about the trade more so than any other poster. Lately the site has turned into ego stroking and moral masturbation. Putting it into a Baby poster vs Veteran poster turns it into an "us vs. them" cliquey non-sense.

I'm going to try and respond to this in the nicest way possible, although I have to say the clinical detachment in your writing is a bit off-putting.
We're people. People have feelings. Regardless whether it's on the internet or in real life, words hurt. Many of us spend a lot of time on this site and it's not because we're socially retarded or can't utter a sentence to a stranger.
We're strippers. The vast majority of our time is spent entertaining and constantly being "on" socially, therefore our solitude and "downtime" can be precious to us.
To imply that we're in any way mentally or emotionally unstable because we spend time here and care what people think is a little bit out there imo.
I think those that get personally hurt but comments and backlashes from people they do NOT know in real life, need to take a hard long look at how mentally and emotionally stable they actually are as well where they need to be focusing all their energy and time that's being spent here. Whether it's schmoozing or arguing. Because you don't become needy, dependent and destroyed over fantasy relationships unless there is an underlying issue.

Oh man. I'm really sorry to see you go, Bridgette. I was sorry to see the back of Katrine and Cameron and all the other amazing women that made this forum what it was. I fully agree with the OP here, and if all the established successful dancers continue to leave while this place fills up with ignorant trash, sleazy customers, and trolls, I don't know how much longer I'll be here either. I'm so upset at what's become of this site and I hope we can all pull together and fix it.
I like VG's idea of restoring SW for the strippers. Going membership-only would be a great step in the right direction.

Alright, I have a question that is seriously being asked out of genuine curiousity, hopefully Bridgette will be around to answer this ..... (by the way, this is not a mean-spirited question and I don't dislike TOO or anything but....)
How come TOO is the only one allowed to donate to this site?
I am baffled at the fact the rest of us are not allowed to send in money. Why?? According to his join date, he wasn't one of the founding members (or was he)....so is he just a personal friend of Pryce originally from outside of this site?

there was a point that TOO posted something about keeping it on the blue side...
Well, I think that maybe he should just stay on the blue side.
What VG said about keeping this a dancers site is OMGSOFUCKING TRUE. I feel like the non-dancers and the 100% PL custies (i'm talking the men who speak their mind when it's not wanted *coughcoughericstonercough*) should stick to the Blue side.
But this is the bottom line, Katrine, Bridgette are leaving because of the way this site has turned. And sadly there is no changing the way things are without SERIOUSLY revamping the system Pryce. That's something I've said before and I'll say it again, at least until things actually do change.
For now I'll take my time and read instead of post, and not visit daily, as has happened lately.

Bridgette, every single word I've written in the threads I've meant from the bottom of my heart. I think you are radically underestimating the respect and affection I've always had for you. What kind of person gets used as a punching bag and gets up off the mat, smiling? It's because I consider you a friend who will rip me to shreds because you think I need it, and I'm a big enough boy to handle it. Also, because you know deep down inside how much I like you. Go back and read the PMs we've exchanged over the last three years. With the possible exception of one or two where we were in disagreement about an issue, the rest were extremely respectful and kind and funny. I don't want to lose that.
I always thought the two of us were firebrands and we respected each other enough after the fire died down to pick up where we left off. Kat is like that, too. She'll rip into me, but a week later we will be having the most intimate conversation and learning from each other. I love Kat and worry about her all the time.
Here's an example of where I've learned something from you about the site and put it into practice with great effect. There was an issue about my public behavior that really pissed you off about 18 months ago. You and I disagreed in public and private about part of it (the practice was 50% private but you argued for 100%) and I was convinced enough about your arguments to put it into effect. I think you and I know exactly what I'm talking about, but that specific practice has been completely erased from public view at a time when it is more active than ever. You never, ever see me mention it anymore. And it's worked out perfectly fine.
And B, you know very well that there is no "price" for things I give you or do for you. Think about it. Seriously. You know what I mean, right? It just doesn't make any sense. There would never, ever have been a "price" for helping you out of any trouble. Never.
It's the same with the gift exchange. (Please, this is just an overview and a response to what has been said -- I do not want to open up a debate on this again, OK?) All the girls had to do was ask. There was absolutely zero favoritism and zero "kiss-ass" factor. Girls got gifts who have never even mentioned me or talked about me, and even some girls who have been hugely critical of me on the boards received boxes. Hell, you were going to get a pretty cool one based on your own request (which I do understand was satirical in design, but that was the fun of it) until you dropped out of the exchange and stopped posting in the thread entirely. You went from totally visible to totally invisible. You've since told me why, which made me feel even worse, BTW. The one area I used discretion was with girls who had recently had a hard time.
And somehow there has been this mythology that has grown up that I was personally chest-beating about the gifts, bragging on the boards about what I sent out. None of this is true. I never posted anywhere what I was sending out, ever. It was a complete mystery. The recipients, who were anonymous until they received the boxes, posted on what they received, with pictures. All of them mentioned being "shocked," presumably because they didn't think I was going to actually do it based on their requests on the Elfster site. There was no warning. The only thing I posted was about the packaging I had bought and the number of boxes after they had been sent out, along with states so people could be on the lookout for FedEx and not have to traipse back to the holding facility to get them, which is a huge PIA in my area. That doesn't sound like chest-thumping to me, considering the sheer volume of what was going on behind the scenes, and the little trickle that was public, but if you consider it to be so, then I would be happy to consider changing that practice, assuming I ever participate again.
I withdrew from the exchanges because of the drama the gifts had caused and in the interest of reducing the conflict that endangered their continuation on the site.
But much more importantly, I want you to understand how badly I want you to stay here. You are among the most knowledgeable members on the site and offer extremely valuable advice -- in many ways, of unparalleled value. One of the principal purposes of the site is for the more experienced dancers to help out those who are coming up the ranks and you have been selfless and completely devoted to this role. It's why I admired you long before I ever met you.
I also consider you a friend, albeit one royally pissed off at me at the moment;D , but it doesn't reduce the value and importance your friendship has to me. I mean this earnestly and honestly. It was why I friggen' called you when your car broke down. I was worried about you.
Please do not leave. I would consider it a huge loss to the site, and a painful personal loss to me.

I kept away from the discussion about fundraising ideas because i didn't want to cause drama in what seemed to be a productive thread, but seriously it is SO EASY to accept donations. Like less than 5 minutes to set up a page with an address and name to send cheques or Postal orders (not sure what they call it in America to) to.
I mean this could even go to pryce directly, albeit via a PO box for anonymity. I understand the paypal issue but there are literally thousands of online payment processors, most of whom do not require having a merchant account.
And whats wrong with signing up for targetted affiliate programs? I'm sure most of the companies SW'ers buy from have programs in place, and it shouldn't require any sort of complex negotiations to do. Additionally two companies expressed interest this week in paid advertising, but with the way things are i don't believe anything will be done about this.(please do correct me if i am wrong)
Additionally someone who cannot give a projected figure for the next years hosting cost is not fully on top of their business.
I understand the owner is busy, but i attend university full time, at a point i was doing this alongside dancing and will do so in the future, and run a business at the same time.I know everything about my business off the top of my head, i can work out my days profit and expenses in my head, and i know exactly what my hosting costs and will cost if i need to bump it up to the next level.
I say forget the pay site, just allow people to donate already!

How come TOO is the only one allowed to donate to this site?
I am not the only one "allowed" to donate to the site. Both Djoser and sxybrat have sent in donations and become platinum sponsors in the last year. Not to mention the fact that Pryce invests a great deal of time and money into the site himself.
My financial support for the site is ongoing, because the cost of bandwidth is ongoing and that must be paid to keep the site up and running. But it is hardly the only cost.
I will also be one of the participants in the fundraising program. Once again -- and I know it's been long in coming -- the purpose of the fundraising program is to broaden participation and allow many members to participate in funding SW and feel like they are playing a more direct role and have a greater sense of ownership. This is the whole reason for it!
I have no control over the timing of the fundraising program, but that is the strategy behind it.

I am not the only one "allowed" to donate to the site. Both Djoser and sxybrat have sent in donations and become platinum sponsors in the last year. Not to mention the fact that Pryce invests a great deal of time and money into the site himself.

WHOOPEE-FREAKING-DOO!!!!! @djoser and sxybrat!!!! 2 freaking members!!! Hello!!!! what about the rest of us that are BEGGING to give!!!
Stalling/Focusing on a fundraiser, when there are folks that have already raised their own funds is ass-backwards. Why do we have to wait to raise funds when we already have some of them!!!!!????
That's like the Salvation Army telling me "no, Jayda, you hafta wait till you see us in front of WalMart , swinging our brass bells during the holidays"!!! DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!

^^^^Yes, but, how long has the address for sending in donations been down without any other one being given?? A year? This leads many to think that Pryce doesn't want donations from us and you are the only one "allowed" to. Not to knock what you're doing because it's greatly appreciated, but can you at least see our point?

Woah!!
Maybe I'm a hippie too because I really don't have a problem with anybody.... I DO think the site was friendlier when I joined in 2005 (I was VegasBebe) but... I really don't have a problem and I do enjoy most everyone....
It makes me sad to see all this infighting happen......
And to all complaining about Baby Strippers and members, we were ALL babies at one time. While I clearly feel closer to the older members we were ALL new at one point, so lets not be mean.
Brigette I would be sorry to see you leave....

Yes, of course I see your point. Like I said, I have no control over the timing of the fundraising program or the posting of addresses.
What I can say in Pryce's defense is that he's the kind of guy who wants to get all his ducks in a row, check everything twice (a true programmer at heart), and then roll it out when he knows its ready.
I know it seems like it's been forever in coming, but progress has been made behind the scenes and we are getting much, much closer to a rollout date.

^Oh yeah. I fucking hate how you always have to say "WE" as if you're doing some of the work or something but then make a point to repeat how Pryce is calling all the shots. If Pryce is calling all the shots then STFU with your "we" shit.
God I really have to turn on that siteblocker now. LOL

^ Oh come on, B., the "we" refers to the fact that I am a participant in the fundraising program and an advisor, so "we" is used in that sense, and accurately so, in terms of the rollout.
However, I am not in control of the timeline and am not the final decision-maker.
I hope that clarifies it some.

The reason there is no place to send your donations is because Pryce has better things to do. I have my own site (not stripper related) where people send me money for their membership. It takes me a whopping 15 minutes to go to the PO once a week and clean out the PO box. Depending on how many checks are there, I either go to the bank that day or wait for another week or two (and mind you, I do this while bringing along 2 kids and being 7 months preggers and on top of all my other mother/wife stuff).
And, so big deal that sxybrat got a Platinum. Remember THAT bullshit? Oh, we got and cashed your check. It'll just take us 6-7 months to update your account...or whatever. I agree that there are plenty of payment systems out there that could be used. There are people who WANT to donate money. And I agree with JustJayda that the turning down of donations is just plain old lame-ass (and I love your Salvation Army comment LOL).
This site is supposed to be for strippers (and other industry folks--DJs, etc) and yet there is a refusal to accept money from them.
This fundraiser...no one knows what it is supposed to entail. Is it going to require the ladies here to whore themselves out for the "greater good of the site"? I'd rather just send my money, thank you. And, that's really not going to keep this site stripper-oriented. "HEY, COME TO STRIPPERWEB TO SEE HOT STRIPPERS...DONATE AND HELP US KEEP OUR SITE OPEN!!" You want trolls and PL's en masse? Great way to do it.
Open up something to accept DANCER donations and make this place a fucking pay site. Dancers pay x amount and PL's pay twice that. The excuse that Tashia doesn't handle the money stuff is also just stupid. How hard would it be for Pryce to go to the PO, see that sxybrat sent in her Platinum Member fee, and email Tashia to update the account or spend the 5 seconds to do it himself? I have to update my members and it takes me logging into the admin board, pulling up the member name, and clicking the box that says, "Paid Member". Save. Shut down. Done. No more than 1-2 minutes of time.
Geezus...I get more and more pissed off the more I'm here. Grrrrr...

Well, that's a lost cause. If this was a few years ago...all it would have taken was actually DOING what was supposed to be done back then.
It's just all snowballed into one big clusterfuck (which the newbies would not know anything about since all of this started 4-6 years ago).

Why don't you offer to back off the site for awhile?
I don't understand you at all right now, but if that's really what you want, then that's my suggestion.

Bridgette, you and I haven't interacted very much, but I have been reading your posts on here since long before I became a member. Probably as far back as 2003. I remember being overjoyed stumbling on this site, because I wanted to dance and didn't know how. You and other members, like Nina and Venus Goddess, were like mentors to me, even though you didn't know I was here. Your posts taught me a lot, and I really thank you for what you've done for me personally, and for all the other baby dancers here.
I also appreciate the honestly of this thread. I know there is always some drama associated with these "I'm leaving" threads, but I really feel this one. I've also been thinking about taking a break, or at least drastically cutting back my posting, and mostly for the same reasons as yours.
TOO, your recent posts have been divisive. There is just no other way to put it. I don't know, or really care, what your intention may have been. You only have to look at the responses you get to your more invidious posts and threads see that you are dividing this community. If you wanted to stop, you could. But you keep going. You didn't originally garner respect on this forum for throwing money around, but for being courteous, good-humored, and auspiciously an example of what a good customer might be. What happened to that?
Yeah, I know this is just the Internet, and I remind myself of that every time I feel myself getting real-life pissed off. But this is also a really special place to me. There are things I want to say about stripping that I can ONLY talk about with people here. There are things I share about my personal life with you strangers that I would never say to anyone in real life. I can't JUST go find another stripper forum to hang out on, because there isn't one.
But despite how freaking much I love Stripperweb, it IS just the Internet. If I don't like it here, I can just come here less. And unfortunately, that's probably what I'll be doing.
Thanks for telling it like it is, B.

^ I've already withdrawn from the gift exchange, where I was the most visible, frankly.
I've been on this site for almost four years and I still haven't even reached 2,000 posts. How crazy is that? I think I'm averaging less than a post a day.
I'm only posting in this thread right now, and that's just in the hope that B will calm down and see that she is deeply appreciated and valuable to this site. It may happen and it may not, but I do want to make that effort.

I've removed "throwing the money around" in public in every manifestation, most recently by withdrawing from the gift exchange. I agree that it's caused unnecessary drama, and I regret that. It certainly was never my intention, and in fact was the opposite of my intention.
The basic "me" is still there, but this storm front has come in and rained all over everything.
To the extent that I can do it, I am trying to make the changes on my side that would minimize or eliminate contention. I am doing my best, but I need a little time to get there.
