View Full Version : Pink Side Methadone
Just one comment on the idea that the lounge should be co-ed. I think otherwise actually. I've noticed that many girls avoid the non-Stripping and Lo areas precisesly because of that.
I can read it as the lounge where strippers talk about topics not specific to stripping. LO should really be superfluous. Names I never see in the areas I roam are very active in other sections, I am now noticing.

no. no Viva la Blue. thankfully, it looks like there's a unofficial cease-fire. hopefully, the refugees will crawl out of their foxholes and scurry back to their bullet riddled, dilapidated bandwagon.
Oh no. They're here to stay and redecorate. It's about the den got a makeover, doncha think?

Umm, guys? Why are there decorative wind chimes hanging in front of theTV?
This actually happened to some of my friends when one moved his girlfriend in. They came home one day, and their minimalist bachelor living room had been redecorated in some sort of tribal-feminist motif. Wouldn't have been so bad if his g/f had had any taste. The center piece was a huge hanging set of wooden wind chimes that blocked the view of the TV.
me:
Cristyn: those are tacky
me: they are strippa shoes
every girl needs a pair though
for emergencies
i need more sausage
Cristyn: what kind of emergency would call for stripper shoes?
me: one i'd like to be present for
Also, hockey, your presence has specifically been mentioned to stop posting in pink. Apparently you are driving people bat shit for some reason

It's not so much what he says, it's just that HB keeps on saying it, over and over again, on subjects and in Boards where the male perspective simply isn't welcome or even necessary.
When you have diarrhea of the keyboard so bad that it manifests itself into the very rare cholera of the keyboard, well, everybody runs for cover. Tried to tell him two weeks ago not to fucking post so much on pink, but he just can't stay away.
If they sic velvet on him, he's gonna need a kevlar cup. She hates guys so much, she makes Jenny look like a nympho.

CPWhat are you talking about CP? Dislike men? I like you. I scour the board looking for your insightful and wise posts. Your humour and cleverness just brighten the place up, and your kindness to other members is just above reproach. What is there not to like?
I believe there is a natural weeding out process.
If a guy is posting too much in pink (and annoying the pink members) eventually the dynamics will cause him to reduce his postings. If a gal is posting in blue too much (and annoying the blue members) eventually the dynamics will cause her to reduce her postings.
Hopefully, this happens without the moderators even noticing.

Ya' gotta figure that a male poster who averages 13.5 posts a day has to be sticking a lot of them where they are not really wanted....

We've seen a lot of BLT's on pink over the years and I doubt HB will be the last. I figure its just better to let nature and Darwinism run its course and let the party in question find out the hard way.

You too ? I thought it was only me. I almost developed a complex.
I don't think CE should return the email of that lady who is getting married.
He said he hadn't had contact with her in the five years after the incident mentioned, so I doubt she will be that conscious of his lack of response.
I go through about one of these every month. That's the downside of meeting a lot of women; you have a lot of breakups. Only takes me about 2 weeks to fall in love.
I think he should just be happy silently for her, assuming he is happy for her instead of just having envy.
I'm sad CE didn't share that special thread with us down here :(
Have you ever seen the relationship "advice" given in pink?
I'm partial to Ralph Lauren paint now, I must say. I'm redoing my bedrooms.
that's exactly what I was expecting to see.
I might have used my quota on wishing him congrats.
Sadly it was much more somber thread, despite the happy event. Looks like she hurt him quite a tad.
You gotta just forget about it CE. You love a woman that really doesn't care about you, or else things would have turned out different. You have all these lovely pink people here to find a real loving connection with.

At least they make me laugh.

I find it fascinating that no women have responded to the thread yet. Do we all feel collectively guilty as a gender for CE's heartache?
yea i was laughing at that. i hope it continues
Just move the thread down here man
MOVE IT TO BLUE because CE has the BLUES!

Some guy bitching about a girl who didn't want him actually wanting someone else? I don't think it's guilt.

I don't know. Reading pink sometimes you'd think it was only the men doing the hurting, but while guys tend to share it less or bury it deeper/faster, guys often do get hurt badly in relationships.

If that were it then I think they would be posting. I just don't think there is much to say to someone who is still angry enough because someone didn't want to date him that one can't send a "congratulations, all the best" email three years later.

It's interesting though because I feel fairly sure that if a woman had created that thread, support would have flooded in by now.

By the way,
CE - your thread does indeed feel more like a Blue Side thread to me too.
Yup. He shoulda known better! I feel betrayed.
And of course men get hurt in relationships, we're human, too.
I've just learned to be become a masochist when it comes to women. A lot of the hurt comes from delusions, though. I was very hurt when I realized I could never grow up and join GI JOE.
Anybody want to suggest a song for CE? To help him through his heart ache? I have one or two I'd like to share:
I owe Snoop and Dre millions. Listening to the Chronic and Doggystyle back in the day is how I became what I am regarding women. I was impressionable and in junior high school, just beginning to deal with my feelings with women. The usual excitement and let downs, but in the back of my mind, at all times, I heard Snoop.
And of course...in my hometown...suckering for love was a big "no, no"
Onyx tried to warn me too!
I listened to that album so many times, I couldn't speak without quoting it.
I still had to learn the hard way a bit, but the learning curve was much easier for me thanks to the misogynist rap music.
