well i missed half the meeting-i had to go early, but 45 minutes into it they were still in the process of getting organized first they lost all the previously filled out applications,
(you know the ones that had everyones ssn on it), but i think they eventually found them , and then they lost something else...yeah i was not impressed...there were only about 15-18 dancers at the meeting...but since i missed the whole speech and rules part, i can't really fill you in except that the gowns are one piece only, exept for saturdays. the follwing i just read in the rules booklet so i don't know whether it stands: 3 days min with at least 1 sat sun mon, 8 hour shifts(!) housefee paid on arrival (didn't say how much) no asking for tips in CR the host is now suppose to do it for you. for every bottle of champagne sold-you get 10% toward house fee. funny money fee is 10%

I just made the connection.....your "new" Mike is Mike G whom I had the pleasure of working with at Boys Toys and Hustler in San Fran from 2001-2003, and Christie's in Phoenix from 2006-2007. He also did a stint with Scores and Foxy Lady.
He contacted a bunch of girls from CCP air and hotel accomodations included (I can't make it due to crippled hubby) You girls are SOOOOO lucky. He is a FANTASTIC manager! He really goes the extra mile for the girls.

That is SWEET. I actually met one of the CR hosts who used to work there (a guy), the really hot one.
My friends husband just got a job there as a DJ. Me and her might go check it out Saturday night (his training night)!! If we do decide to go there I will post in here again!

Okay, how was it last night? Busy? Organized? A madhouse?
I should be there Saturday night (depending on how I feel).

it was very disorganized, but pretty busy. the bunch of imported girls just sat around by themselves and drank, very few of them seemed to know how to hustle. it seemed that most the money (which was very respectable) was made by the old ch2 girls. at least thats who i saw in the CR most of the night.they have girl champagne hostesses and drink hosts in the back and they seemed pretty clueless. hopefully they get their act together soon. it took me like a half hour to get someone to tell me how much CRs were, since NOONE knew. but the crowd was pretty good, they had both the sides open. and i liked the little hors d'œuvres they had being offeres around...mmmm food.... but i digress, i'm still on the fence about working sat, cause i don't know if it'll be as good now that the party is over, and i have a cushy place where i'm pretty much guaranteed a certain amount. on the other hand ricks does have the potential for more, while my place has a ceiling.

I agree with pretty much everything sapphire said. There was money potential, but very disorganized.
I hate the shirt promos and the funny money structure though. The guy gets charged a 20% chage and then we have to pay an additional 10% to cash in. So on a 30 min VIP, he's paying $268 and the girl gets $144 when he uses a credit card. Asking for tips is not allowed and the hosts do nothing to encourage it. ::)

Wow! 20%!!!! Most places it's 15%.

I can see how the dancers would have felt "lost" cause uis waitresses (well except for those that worked there when it was CH) were lost.
they told us nothing. it was really just strange.
and every manager seemed to have a different answer to the same question. i dont know. i think they needed at least another week to really get everything prepared.

$268=$144? That's crappy. And no asking for tips? I may give it a try, since Ho-asis has been a little crap the past few weeks.

I was looking forward to joining all of you when my semester finished but reading this... I don't think I could hack it.
How are they expecting to compete with Delilah's if their rules are equally as ridiculous but without the safety net of reputation and a loyal customer base? It seems like they should be bending over backwards trying to give out dancer incentives right about now.

you do need a gown, and you can either call or just show up
