When I buy dancers its typically from thicker girls. One girl I work with and I were arguing about whos body was better. She said I have a perfect body - super skinny and I was like no, you have the best body here - you have a pin up body. To each their own I guess. As long as someone else doesnt affect my hustle I dont care what size they are.

I've worked with dickhead managers that have put girls that wore maybe a 4 or 6 on probation for being overweight, while others were a flabby 12-14 and it was never mentioned.

Yep. That's me right now. Size 3/4, about 120 lbs. (at 5'2"), 26" waist... I'm on probation for 30 days. I don't get it. I'm very toned and healthy looking, but was told that I need to "tighten up." :O

Meanwhile, there are girls walking around, same height and body structure, that are easily a size 7 or 9, and have a good 15 lbs. on me.

Thing is guys talk shit about EVERYONE. Just because you're thin, you don't think guys will say shit like "Wow she looks anorexic, she should eat a cheeseburger." Girls could have the perfect bodies and someone will have something negative to say. Not all guys like thin either.
It sucks when her own co-workers have something completely negative to say when we all are suppose to have an understanding of how hard this business can be. Way to have each others backs. I'm just glad I don't work with at yours and the OP's club.

Obviously guys say mean things about everyone. But I've never had a guy go on and on about how any of the other dancers in the couch area look besides her. I've never had a guy make disgusted looking faces at me.

If your one of the extremes, being really fat or really boney thin your gonna get it from anywhere. I highly doubt many of yall have had too many guys coming up to you talking trash about a girls body who's a 4/6 and proportionate and something isn't obviously deformed about it, come on.

Whether they mean it or not they will say shit about everyone. Even Barbie if she was up there. And why?? It could be because she turned him down for something other than a dance. She could've been rude to him, etc....Guys will pick on any one. The point is who is anyone to say that someone shouldn't be dancing. And her own co-workers whom she's obviously done nothing to, are bashing her behind her back. And I don't necessarily mean you Joplin.

I used to work in a club in Daytona that would hire anything that walked in the door without a dick. I have put plenty of literally obese women onstage, trust me. I am not talking 'thick', I am not talking 'curvy', I mean obese.

There are women who can carry some weight with style and class and even bank with it, sure. My last SO was such a woman, at 5'9", a large bone structure, and probably 155 she was perfectly proportioned and a serious knockout. I was totally smitten--and I have always much preferred very slender women. Well, who cares what I preferred, but you get the idea.

When she got close to 190 at one point it seriously cut into her earnings, but after we broke up she bounced right back and last I heard was doing well again. More power to her.

But it's an uphill battle for the majority of women carrying more than average weight, and the more they carry, the harder it is for them to use their natural confidence (if they have it) and sexuality to sell themselves in a SC. Most of the bigger dancers I have worked with have had a very hard time with it.

One thing I have noticed, if you stagger the list so that the appearance of the dancers is always changing, the thicker dancers will do a lot better. Put three heavy women onstage in a row, and you will kill the tiprail. So I don't--except occasionally at this new club where they go strictly by order of appearance.

Is the girl you're talking about brunette and has big boobies and usually wears garter sets? If so I know who you're talking about.

I've never seen her on stage or in the dressing room so I dunno how she looks without the magic black lights but she actually looks good to me. I'm not even sure why because I usually like RAIL thin chicks but she's pretty hot. Maybe it's the confidence.

OTOH, I get guys going on and on about her when we're next to her waiting for the next song to start. The comments aren't nice, even after I tell them that I think she's pretty hot...At times like those I realize how lucky I am that I'm tinner and don't ever have to hear people say shit like that about me.

No, she's blonde and white trashier than a motherfucker.

To correct my post, I guess I was thinking about somebody my height weighing 200lbs (5'2")

I must have a really small frame, because Lysondra is w-a-a-y skinnier than me and I am taller and weigh about 10lbs less, and i am positive she looks skinnier in her pictures than I do. Also, I am most certain that I do NOT have a 22" waist. Try like 26 -27"

And not to be a hater, but I think size 20 is rediculous to dance.

I don't think this thread is neccessarily nice but if we are being totally honest, at the weight and size I am right now 5'2" and 125, I realy would NOT be comfortable dancing AT ALL. I took a couple months off and will not go back til I get down to at least 118.

In fact, towards the end of my stay in Vegas I started gaining weight (probably to 115 from 110) and I got a talking to that at SR. Which is unrealistically anal and probably not typical of everywhere.

I'm not quite sure where I'm going with this post, lol.

There is a range of what is considered empirically beautiful. Once a person gets outside that range, the customer base that she is going to attract is going to be in the realm of fetish.

I also think that the vast majority of strip club customers are there to see dancers that fall within the empirically beautiful range of looks. Some clubs are busy enough to support dancers that don't fit these standards, but not all clubs. If a club starts hiring dancers that the vast majority would consider "ugly" it is going to kill business.

Stripping is a very shallow business. In a perfect world we would be able to see the beauty within and not just the physical appearance on the outside. Unfortunately, we do not live in a perfect world.

There certainly are plenty of people show would like a dance with this girl (http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e90/stressheadpres/fat.jpg). But they aren't likely to be all living in the same city.

Hahaha When I went to work at the Yellow Rose for a few days I saw this girl with a huge GUT I mean it was gross, rolls over rolls dude. It surprised me because all the other girls working those nights were pretty slender. The only reason this chick was making any money was because she was doing dirty dances .

Well, bear in mind that the guys you're talking to chose YOU, very likely because you are a slender dancer. So you're not necessarily gettting an unbiased sample of audience opinion.

I am on the thick side myself, and make very good money. The few girls at my club thicker than me do really well, too. I've never seen a girl on stage who looked too thick to dance...it would only bother me if she also looked really unhealthy and miserable. My personal preferences are a bit on the slender side, but people have different tastes. There's a dancer at my club who is quite thick and has obvious cellulite, and guys always compliment her to me.

Why all the hate? It is NOT offensive to openly discuss your opinions on beauty. It's also not offensive to be put-off by an overweight person. It's really ridiculous that it's politically incorrect to point out someone's weight problem. Being overweight is extremely unhealthy and I think people SHOULD be pushed to do something about it. Damn, everybody wonders why America is getting so damn fat, but then yell at people for saying it's gross to be fat. Doesn't make any sense to me.
I do agree that height:weight ratio can be very deceiving, but from what these girls are saying about how these dancers look that is not the case in this situation.
Btw, I'm 5'6", 160 lbs and I wear a size 11, but people say I look thin. That's because I exercise and actually care about my health.

It's gross to be overly thin also. And it's unhealthy. However there are girls of every size on this board, and I think it's offensive to single thicker girls out.

Who cares how big someone is?? I can understand a conversation about unhealthiness, etc... But the OP intended for this thread to be mean spirited because she likes to pick on people to make up for her own lack of self confidence. She's probably just mad because that girl makes more than her. :)

I agree that men like women of different sizes. Me, I"m 5'10, 161.5lb, I have a phat butt and 38 D bewbs. I'm not fat. IMO if a girl looks good and is in shape it doesn't matter what her size is.

I personally do not like big girls who are not in shape, but I can't stand real skinny girls either, the ones that look all drugged out. If you take care of yourself.size doesn't matter.

I do agree that really heavy girls shouldn't be dancing. I'm talking 50 or more pounds overweight with cottage cheese and rolls everywhere, not someone who is 15 or 20 pounds over their ideal weight. Guys come into the club to see hot fantasy girls that they can't get in real life. If they wanted someone frumpy and out of shape, they could go home to their wives. IMHO, a few extra pounds or slightly chubby is fine; obese is not.

Even though I think really large girls shouldn't be dancing, I don't mind working with them, and I don't see why lizlizliz should care if she's making money. This may sound bitchy, but it makes me look hotter by comparison when I work with someone who's very overweight and guys are more likely to choose me for lapdances over her. I should add that all of the obese girls I've worked with have had shitty attitudes and never made any money-I'm sure there are some out there with great personalities.

I've never seen a customer leave the club after seeing an obese stripper, but I can see how they would leave if the majority of the club was made up of obese strippers. I have seen them leave the stage when a very overweight girl was up there though. But if the majority of the girls are hot and in shape, I don't see how a club having one obese stripper would chase guys out the door.

In AC our two top earners were the chunkier one and the obese one. They were also the ones that took advantage of all the drunk guys. People would buy a lot of dances from the obese one for their buddies as a gag. It was really mean. She wasn't allowed on stage either. Once you started looking too chunk you lost that right.

I would say guttertrash is an accurate term when it comes to drug-addled "ladies" who try to suck and fuck for cash in my club. Don't get me wrong, plenty of these ladies are skinny, and I guess you could still say I'm "hating" on them.

I understand where you are coming from with the warnings. At 5'2" and weighing all of 108, I got a warning from a club in North Cali! Now, this was in the ninties, heroin chic and all. But still, I worked out like crazy and was physically healthy. I guess my muscular thighs made me like to 'chunky' for the time.

But sheesh! "Fat watch" is cruel and uncalled for. At that same club, I remember very cute, muscular dancers being put on watch as well. Most of them on the shorter side, but seriously, I don't think any of them tipped the scale over 130!>:(

Apparently this girl has her own insecurity issues. First of all, she doesn't own or run the club. Secondly, this larger girl must be dancing globs of fat money circles around her and her thinner cohorts. I'm a thick girl and men love it that I'm not anorexic or bulemic.
I love the so called "fat" girls. Not every entertainer care to be a size zero. A broad that size couldn't even see me in a club. Why? Because I have ass, that many folks are now paying for. My titties are full and authentic. My legs are soft and shapely, not toothpicks. So big ups to the big girls!
