Hey ladies!! I'll be traveling to Charlotte, NC in 2 weeks. Does anyone have any information about the clubs there. I want to try out Cameo & Nikki's since they aren't far from the airport. Any info on the hiring process at either of those?

That's probably a trashy club. You should go further than Texas because the oil situation has put a strain on the economy here and guys are starting to hold onto their money. If you don't already have a club here with customers, you'll be wasting your time.

Any clubs with good money potential in DC/MD/VA area? I don't want to do stadium seeing as most of their money comes from stage work and I have no pole experience what so ever. Any newbie friendly places?

I have a couple questions about NYC. If you're a thin model type where would I dance at? I heard NYC is very selective and segregated. I believe I am too petite to work at the urban clubs like Starlet's. I also heard the gown clubs have extremely high house fees. I'm accustomed to paying around $200 without tip out and that's not including hair and makeup in Chicago. So that's not really an issue. I was also told that you have to wear conservative type stripper heels like 6 inches only? Can anyone answer these questions or offer advice?

If you're not used to spending extreme money, don't go to NYC. First off the hotels will be extremely high, it would take a lot of planning and what not to find a nice place that's not uber expensive there in Manhattan which is impossible. I've never experienced any segregation. I used to work in Manhattan at Scores. I did well. But I would always stay in Hoboken and drive into the city to work which worked well. But I know the area and the city well and it was all planned to the t. And yes you'll pay out a lot in NYC. I paid around 200-260 every night. That included tip out, money for dj and house mom. All the clubs in the city are gown clubs and yes the heel height has to be conservative which means under 6 inches. They want the girls to always look extremely nice so that wasn't a problem to me because that's how I've always dressed. But I made money there so it was fine even though I didn't like giving out a lot of money. The only way to get hired and see what to expect, is to go to Manhattan and audition at all the clubs. You should call first and get a time as to when to go in, etc. Then plan accordingly.

Just travel girlie. Go north or to the east coast. You just have to try many places.

What's the difference between a black club and a white one? And how should one know if they'd fit one or the other or not?
I'm darker skinned but other than that I don't think I have the typical appeal if you know what I mean.

The BIGGEST determination for many black clubs is if you have a nice butt, preferably round or a bubble. In MOST places you don't have to have a body like Delishis (however she spells it- ugh). I've seen too many instances where slim dancers still take in money. Maybe less on stage but make it up in lap dances. My current club has way more slim woman than thick bubble butt types, although men still love those.
Unless you have a pancake booty or super skinny, give the black clubs a chance. Years ago a club manager in NYC told me the highest paid dancers are slim one with fat/bubble butts. I wasn't convinced at the time, but he was right. Brick house bodies will always be welcomed with open arms, but that doesn't mean a slim dancer gets no love.
The only exception would be the top clubs overrun with Brazilian butt lift dancers and staff, there *may* be a struggle there, but I can't speak with great conviction on that because I haven't worked at those places long enough to judge.

I just got done having a square booty. And now I'm just uneven. And I'm top heavy and have a tendency to go really skinny like below 100 lbs. So I don't want to do an urban club for those reasons. I have few options currently though. Since I can't work in a club hiring 21 and up. As I need a sherriff's card which means I have to have my bc. Which is in Michigan so I am kind of just going to check out the clubs available. Also I know this one club my roommate worked at and made very good money for just one night.

I'd be surprised if baby dolls hire her. They are not too keen to hiring black girls just to be honest. They only have a very few. I don't know much about Black Orchid there. But don't even waste your time in BD or even going to Dallas for that matter. Me personally I don't really like Dallas because they have more prejudice there than any other big city in Texas.
I definitely have to agree with you, Anacol. I am a mixed girl with an absolute super skinny "white girl" body, my skin is so light that many people think I am Puerto Rican or Guatemalan and I didn't get hired at any of the clubs in Dallas. Not only do I rarely have a problem getting hired, but I am one of the highest paid girls at my current club. The only club that I did get hired at was one of the black clubs there (which I forget the name of) but I decided not to work there because I my body type is probably not what customers are looking for. Although, who knows, I might have gotten lucky but I didn't try. In fact, I had such a bad experience in Dallas, that I just decided not to try Houston or San Antonio. I just didn't want to waste any more money as I HATE doing when I go to new cities. I always try to make back what I spend or more.
Also, when I walked into Babydolls, I saw nothing but blonde girls. I didn't even see any brunettes. I just saw blondes, blondes, and more blondes. When I was filling out their application (which is required before they even talk to you in Dallas), I saw a girl on one of the satellite stages who was blonde but her but and legs were full of cellulite. No offense, but in my opinion, she looked like what I have heard people call "white ghetto". I only walked in the place once but if I had to guess, I'm assuming that she must have been a girl who had seniority or something because it didn't look like she would have been hired at my current club...
Anyways, not sure about other parts of Texas but if you are a black girl who wants to work at a white club (seriously DOUBT they have mixed clubs in Dallas), I would say don't waste your time. If you are already in Dallas, do your research and find the black club there. I didn't work there and only went in for the audition but it seemed to me that there was money making potential there. The front door girl also told me that Monday's are the busiest and best nights there. I think they have a promotion or something then.
Black girls, do your research before making a trip out! Don't throw away your money trying to get hired in segregated cities.

There's a newer club named Buck's - that's on the strip club strip, across the street from The Lodge. Buck's hires a good mix of dancers, there. You probably have to see what they have too much of, to open a position for you. I heard they have too many dancers with tatooes; so, there's (was) a hiring hold for that type of dancer.

The difference is, who they cater to: a majority-white or black clientele. To determine how well you'll do or "fit in," is the reception from the club/clientele or you're money-making potential.

Can you get away with twerking at mixed clubs? Im a black girl and i know how to dance its just the butt isolations that im having trouble with.iim scared it will make me look like i cant dance if i go to an all black club.what should i do? Or how can i learn how to do this
All men enjoy some twerking. A mixed club may be a better bet - for now if you can't twerk or do pole-tricks since you make most of your money doing either in a majority-black club. There's an rarity if you can convince a ***** to come out of a stack by looking like a bad ***** and using a great mouth-piece.

When I was started looking for "black clubs", Sue's Rendezvous in NY is what I had in mind. I haven't been there yet, but I have a feeling that there is really good money making potential and also could be a fun place to work (which is a biggie for me). I am just afraid of going there to audition because as a very skinny, light-skinned mixed girl with a tiny little bubble but, I'm not sure that I'm what they're looking for. I will probably just go there as a customer (if they allow solo girls in) and check it out first. I may or may not audition based on how I think I might fit in. But anyway, if anyone is looking for a really good black club, based on my research, Sue's Rendezvous could be it. Apparently, the girls at Sue's are the equivalent to the hot black girls you see in rap videos, that is if some of them aren't ALREADY working there.

You can also look at their Instagram: to see if you like what you see.
This dancer is skinny and doesn't have a big butt - she's not a typical urban video vixen: https://www.instagram.com/p/-HWK3Fvn0m/

You being skinny is not a problem. That club has a lot of skinny girls. Years ago, it used to be all big booty video vixens but now it's a lot of fresh out of high school 18 year olds. Just show up to audition, get there at 9, be ready to hit the stage and they'll have you dance up there for a bit and then give you the yay or nay. And you'll be able to work that night if they hire you.

You'd be wasting every bit of your time and money trying to work at those clubs. There's no money nor customers at any of those places. I don't work black clubs but know girls who do and they don't even work in those places anymore. And Vlive is a joke. I got out of my comfort zone and went to this place with a friend. It's hood, the girls are unattractive with even more unattractive bodies and there's no one spending money on them. The focus is on the main stage, where DC, one of the owners gives out cash to bouncers to toss on the girls. I heard that they have to give the money back at the end of the night. Smh. The only club that's worth working at with some sort of money is St James, but they don't hire out of state girls, and my club heartbreakers, but unless you have regulars, you won't make money.

Always wondered what the deal was for V-Live. They opened one out here in Dallas and it does well however, it took me a while to warm up to dancing at a spot like that and now they are no longer hiring until February. I heard they are opening a new Vlive in New Orleans. I think it's about time a decent black club opened there.

They usually won't hire you at st James unless you're living in Houston and has a local address. You could always say that you're moving to Houston. They just like their girls to be local. Sometimes they'll hire out of city girls but definitely not out of state.

I haven't worked there in a few months because there was always a lot of traffic. My last stint at Sue's lasted maybe two weeks. I had some good days and some bad days. The good days were the promoted ones and every day that wasn't promoted was a disaster, I'm talking the club would be empty. My good days there were me making like $800 compared to my good days at other clubs where I'd make double that so I stopped going there and to further make me not want to work there, they had started a new rule where they would assign you one Monday a month to work and that meant basically wasting a night there making no money when you could be elsewhere. I would work in Astoria at Heavens way before I bother with Sues.

Wow, I'm not surprised to read that about VLive. I worked there for the grand opening week from Saturday-Monday. Each day got progressively worse. By Monday, the club was basically empty and I felt so bamboozled because if you follow their instagram and the instagrams of the dancers there, you would think that place is a pot of gold. To me, the club basically pimps the girls since you have to give them a cut of whatever you make and they have you dance so that the DJ can collect the tips for himself. He made more than any dancer every night I was there. It was a bizarre set up.

The mixed clubs in Houston aren't the best as they used to be. There's not much going on in the strip club industry in Houston. It's not lucrative as it once were and is now hit or miss. You have to consistently go to see some income. You're better off skipping Houston and Texas as a whole. You really have to travel to wherever the money is nowadays. It's not in just one particular city or club. It's really seasonal everywhere now.

Hell Ladies,
As black dancers with we need to put together a list of clubs. I am willing to do the work to put the list together. We really need this.
We still do not have the privilege of just going, to any club and being able to work. Unless you are seriously passing or that exotic looking. We need to talk about clubs like Magic city King of diamonds
etc etc. Talk about the tip out fees so we can be prepared. Talk about safety ? How is the house mom? Are there hotels you can stay in near by Can we make money like Maliah Michels or is it just a dream? Lets talk about it ladies to help one another.

If you're used to paying $200, it's the same in NYC in the Manhattan upscale clubs which I recommend if you're thin and modelesque.
