It is mine! Pictures coming. Now that I see it more, I have decided it is bad-ass looking. It as a 2007, but has been kept indoors inside of the dealer area. It is clean, like a 2008, not like some car that has been sitting on the lot for a year. Given what I paid for it, and what they gave me for my trade-in, I got a sweet deal for a new Cayman-S.
Sweet.
Unfortunately I am too busy today to take the day off and go driving; and traveling next week means I won't have a chance to take it for a long drive for a few more days ... booo.... I can't wait.

Some pics shrunk down to sizes that SW will let me attach.
X, is that you in the pic? Or a stand in? Jenny PM'd me and told me that if it is you in the pic she takes back all the mean things she said to you.

That is me.
But I am still not as ballsy as many here about mixing my real life with my virtual life, given the likes of people like the miz and others who seem to have nothing better to do then cause trouble for people in real life.
I kept the pics small enough to be visible without hopefully giving away too much.
p.s. I've only sent a better pic to a very few here.
I would have used a stand in. I bet Mrs X is already filing divorce papers and has hired a financial planner to manage her money }:D

Mrs. X was not entirely happy, but she helped make it happen. I really don't make such decisions spur of the moment. This one has been a couple of decades in the making, putting aside some in my car fund for the car I really wanted vs something I settled for.
My other obligations to my kids are paid for, or banked, so... why keep saving money? For who? They are making far more then I did when I started, even adjusting for inflation. I never had the benefit of paid for college, free car, insurance/gas paid , a place to live paid for, all expenses paid for, etc., so I am thinking... I earned the right to spend some on me ;)
If Mrs. X can't handle that, oh well... show me where to sign and I'll cut her loose.

You know you don't mean that. You are just chest puffing. Neither of us could afford being decapitated by our wives ;)

Awe... soooo much h8 for the white. And here I was going to dress up in my finest novelty boxers PLUS a pair of extra-wide red suspenders to round out the look. I know how you love a well dressed man. ;)

Congrats on the new car X. In the end, it doesn't matter what other people think about the color. If you're happy with it, it was a good purchase.

Wow.. what a beautiful car. I don't know if any of you saw the thread on pink about people having sex with cars. I thought all that was really gross and bizarre but your new car is making me reconsider! *wanders off to re-read the car sex tips* }:D

i like silver cars because it's reflective and therefore safer.
if you live in a hot climate, it would make sense to get a white or silver car though because they stay cooler.

I'll post a few more pics when I get a chance.
Now that I've had a chance to detail the car myself it's looking spectacular. The white is looking pretty damn nice, but I have to admit I'm wondering what it would look like with black rims.
Color aside... it's a joy to drive. When winter rolls around I'll garage it and drive the good old beater, but as a summer/spring play thing I'm loving the new car.
