View Full Version : 88 Minutes and Forbidden Kingdom

"88 Minutes" was terrible. Confusing and pretty pointless. Even Al Pacino couldn't make it worthwhile.

"Forbidden Kingdom" was okay, probably even more so if you like (Chinese) martial arts films or fantasies. There was a twist ending I saw coming 20 minutes beforehand.

I saw both in the past two weeks. I have to agree with the poster about 88 mins. Al Pacino looked like shit and his hair was all crazy. Al Pacino being the only draw for me to even see this movie I was really disappointed.
I saw Forbidden Kingdom last night. It was OK. I was actually happy that there weren't any sub-titles. I thought it was enjoyable. Some of the fighting scenes were pretty cool. I could have waited to rent it on DVD. Reminded me how much I liked Kung Fu Hustle and how I wish that would make a sequel.
