That is such a thing a girl would say! LOL
well you should appreciate it this.....
for the longest time I would buy clothes that fit, because being formerly large, that was kinda the truth in life, buy what fit....then if you could find something you liked it was a bonus....
.....now its like, what the hell do I look decent in, and I never really spent anything on casual clothes, so I had to buy some decent things....
that, and becuase all my current jeans are either stained, have holes, or both :D

Grrrrr Yahoo groups make me mad. I can't work them right or something. I wish they had a layout like SW then I could get a grip on things.
sorry for the rant....
Fill me in.... is ladies night now happening in NJ? I wanted to clarify....

The difference between a vegetarian restaurant and a totally non-veg friendly restaurant is that EVERYONE can eat at the veggie restaurant.

GAH! Huge change in plans! The restaurant we decided on only takes parties of less than 14. Since we're at 19 right now, that isn't going to work. I found another cool looking restaurant, so I need everyone to go to the group and look at the menu to make sure it's ok. I have to call them tomorrow to make the reservation, so please get back to me as soon as possible!
The place we went to last year didn't take that many either. I actually made two ressies in two different names, just in case.

^ I agree; we should just make two reservations for nine each.

I thought about that, but what if the two tables they arrange for us are not near each other?
if you don't ask, you'll never know.....put the call in, if they can accomodate us I'm sure they will, if not, go to new restaurant as plan B.
Just make sure its finalized be tomorrow though would be my only suggestion

Personally, I think the new restaurant sounds pretty wonderful. Especially the description we got from our sources. I mean...serving pineapple fried rice in the pineapple itself? Love it!

05-21-2008, 08:06 PM
I think its pretty casual, I'm planning on jeans and polo-shirt, I don't think its too "dressy"

It's pretty much a free-for-all. Last year was mostly jeans with cute tops or cute dresses for girls... jeans and buttondown or polo shirts for the guys...
I don't even wear jeans. So..pimpin' black suit and flashy shirt is out? Aww, but I have new shirts! :P

To All,
First I want to thank H_H_L for pointing me to this thread. I login in fits and starts and hadn't been on in a couple of weeks and totally missed this. Thanks again.
In seeing it I note that it is going to be this Memorial Day weekend. I'm having my son and his family over for the three days so I won't be able to attend. Sorry, as much as I truly would like to go and meet many of you grand kids win hands down. :)
I write to wish you all a very happy time. May all those who attend have a blast and hoist one for me.
Well wishes,
G_R

I am going to a wedding in the early afternoon and so I probably won't want to be too tarted up again for the evening.
Sexy, casual will be me.

He agreed to make up ONLY! I don't think it's fair to make the poor man suffer heels too, them things hurt!
I plan on dressing like a whore. Which means - like I normally dress.
THE NEW RESTAURANT IS MUCH BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE EVER INVENTED (OK, maybe not..) but I've been there and it's awesome and it's not too pricey and they can accomodate all of us. Plus... two colleges are right near there so you know there are tons of cheap bars. :)

Hey y'all. Just checking in to say with regret that I won't be able to come to lunch on Saturday after all. I really did have high hopes, but my hands are just WAY too full with Lily right now. We had to do one very necessary long drive this week already, and it completely wiped her (and me) out. We've got some challenges right now (she is great, don't worry), and I feel it would just be too much for her.
But Mast still MAY be able to come on Saturday night, and I totally support and encourage that. ;D He's just been working his ass off, in so many ways, especially on our behalf - I want him to get to cut loose for once! He's the best babydad ever.
I hope there's another gathering again soon-ish and that we're both more up to it by then!!! Hugs to you all, and fond memories of last time.
And for a limited time (safetywise I'll remove it after a bit), here's a little pic of the Lilybean for ya:
Meanwhile in spur of the moment time to start living, I'll be attending as well.

Lestat, dude, I can't believe you are going.
Ladies, watch out for this guy. His shyness is an act, it seems. He is craftiness incarnate }:D

What're you doing?

I'm getting things sorted out because I have two interns coming in soon, so I'm updating our Operations manual.

^^^ Who cares about the booze... I figured you'd have been more interested in the TUNA PASTA SALAD and PICO DE GALLO that I'm making after work! ;D
Having had both, made by you, I must say I'm tempted. BUT, I have to pack for the weekend tonight and finish up the cleaning since Erika is coming to watch the kitties.
