Look, all I'm saying is, (and a bolt of lightning should strike me dead if I'm wrong) Jehovah himself could not resist kissing that ass.

I mean, LOOK AT IT MAN !!! :)

I'm going to be kind and offer some help.

When you read a thread, STOP and THINK to yourself, " Is there anything useful I can add to this topic, or am I just giving in to my compulsivness to kiss peoples asses in a bad attempt to try to fit in?"

Then remember this: The more you talk, the less people listen or care.
Or in this case....dude, your really, really getting on peoples nerves!!

Do you have to post crap in every single thread??? Geezus!!! Quit being such an ass-kisser...it doesn't earn you any points.

I agree there needs to be a parenting forum...it would help keep the parenting threads out of the other threads.

I wish "ass kissing" was the worse problem we had around here.

Hah! I thought Collette was TOO at first. Nice Dangle avatar. I was puzzled for a second why he might be joining in with sheep fucker pics.

I'm not a mommy, and I haven't really noticed this site being too mommy. There is always the option not to click on a thread, as well. However, i agree with others, the only concerns I have are about the ladies that post pics of their kids. A stripper site may attract pervs, and I wouldn't want anyone to have any problems or issues. I forget who said it, but sometimes we do forget that other people besides our sw members/friends might see this site.

Whoa.... there's a lot of snark going on in here. We should stop being so snarky and having cruel innuendos.

if you're referring to me, i told hb i was joking in chat. i like him & think that despite kissing butt he's funny & occasionally comes up w/ some pretty witty stuff. i'm not copping out- believe me, if i really didn't like someone, i wouldn't play, or be snarky, i'd fume a bit around my apt. and put 'em on ignore.

The lounge and other sections are full of non-stripping related topics. There is no reason why a certain topic - parenting should not be one of those topics.

I don't really ever look at any child related topics because i'm not interested and I have nothing to add as far as advise goes.

I do wish non-parents could say what they wish about not wanting children without it having to turn into a drama fest as it has in the past. I don't think we need to be PC about that either.

I dont bother opening the mother / kid related threads on this board about 90% of the time.
Tis not hard to avoid it if youre not into it (-:

I didn't read all the posts but, I am not a mommy and it doesn't bother me. Also, disagree with the perv aspect thing, if a perv is into kids he got plenty of other places to go like maybe an actual "mommy" forum. It is good to be cautious, but i doubt that's an issue to get worried over.

Lysondra, your post is right below mine. Are you referring to my post? If so, why? It wasn't snarky and didn't have any cruel innuendos. I don't get it.

I'm not a parent & no, they don't bother me at all. I say post whatever the hell you want to post, as long as it doesn't offend anyone. If no one wants to read a mom/child thread they can ignore it, it shouldn't be that hard.

i don't see the difference from discussing a "parenting" topic from discussing a topic about "pets" or "cars" or "clothes" or "food". why should parenting be singled out for discrimination (<--i know, a poor choice of words but it fits) over those other off-topic? ("stripping" of course, being the raison d'etre here)

I'm not a mom, and not sure if I will be, but enjoy reading the mommy threads and have enjoyed seeing the pictures people post of their children. One of the best things about Stripperweb is that there are a wide variety of topics posted, with wealths of information, and opinions, and that's interesting to me. I've learned so much about breastfeeding, getting pregnant, and child rearing, and although that's not useful now, I love to learn new things, and it may be useful in the future!

Some of them do get kinda heated though..that just makes them more fun to read in my opinion. :)

I don't care to learn about babies and parenting at this time in my life so I just pass over them. Those threads don't bother me at all.

Well this is stripper web. Not all dancer are not mommies. So the fact we want to share are joy. With other normal people, who share our experience in dancing. I think it is cool! Most mommies who are not dancer. Do not understand the issues dancer mommies. Have to deal with!

On that note. I think it will be awesome to have a parenting thread. Yet posting in the lounge. Is what it is, anything gose!

I would suggest that some of you ladies ask Pryce to create another off-topic forum for mother types posts. That way, anyone who is interested in parenting issues can post /read stuff there and those who do not care about the little ones can just ignore that forum.

That's exactly how I feel! And every time I see one of the mommy threads I kinda wonder when or if I'll ever have the same situation. They can get a little harsh sometimes, though.

I'm really happy to see this thread.
I was never really sure how much mommy stuff was appropriate and i really don't want to bore or irritate anyone.
I'm happy to see that is not the case.

Mind you this is NO offense to you personally at all, more of an observation in general.

But I think the overly PC bullshit like your post above is the damn problem. Years ago if someone posted something that you (general you) didn't like or care about, you overlook it/don't open it, and move on.

Nowadays, it's all about making sure no one's toes are stepped on, and no one is butt hurt. BAH, whatever.

It's this simple guys/girls; if there is a topic or poster you don't care about, then DON'T read it/ignore it.

We can't make everyone happy all the time, and for as many girls/guys that would vote no more mummy talk, there would be JUST AS MANY that would vote for it to stay.

It's gotten too political in this board lately to the point where you can't even voice your opinion or tell a good dirty/mean joke w/o bing told you are out of line or take it to PM's.

I agree 100% and couldn't have said it better.
