I went to work while having BV. I needed money real bad too. If you don't get fully naked during laps wear 2 thongs and have extras to change every few hours. Bring some coo freshener wipes for in between thong changes. I wore a tampon but I don't recommend that since its bad for your stuff I found out. Thats how I survived working 3 shifts with bv.

Scented tampon. It's not good for your hoo, esp. w/it's current situation but you can rest assured that there will be no smellys. Also, when you go in for treatment I recommend mentioning Clindesse. It's a single use cream, it's always worked quickly and well for me. Never had any side effects either, which I've had w/the antibiotic pills they sometimes give you.

I'm going to write that down, because I had mad side effects with the Metrogel this time.

Oddly enough, I have a period today. :O I have endometriosis, so a period for me is few, far and in between. I don't smell anything now...oh uhhh maybe that's only cause I gotta tampon in me??
I dunno..I'm going to work tomorrow. I have no choice.

PP gave me the generic stuff so I'll remember that stuff next time in BV comes back. Thanks for mentioning that stuff.

I just went to the doctor yesterday only to find out I have BV. Woo-freaking-doo! I never have problems with my kitty so lord know whats triggered it. I really sympathize with all you gals that get this a lot because it's driving me crazy. Luckily I don't have any smellness but the meds the doc gave me are NASTY!
My guy thought it was a bit funny til' the doc said no sex for a week was req'd. Ugh, being a girl sucks sometimes >:(

You know-I got my period early, right when I realized I might have BV. I wonder if it's a symptom, a cause, a coincedence?

i would just not work... if something did slip up and a customer or a fellow dancer did smell it... it just wouldn't be worth the rep you'd get... i had something similar before and not even a tampon really helped with the stench.

Yeah, I've had many reoccurences of BV, it blows. But my hoo, as I've said before, is waaaay sensitive. I was using the Playtex scented tampons btw which worked really well for the smellys. But once you get a treatment, do not use them anymore as they can trigger the BV to come back!
As for the Clindesse, fyi it'll cost you $80 (or more) if you don't have insurance. They do have a $15 rebate you can print out and send in on their website, which helps a little. http://www.clindesse.com/rebate_promo.aspx
I don't have insurance and go to PPH so I really wish the antibiotic pills worked well for me since they give that remedy for free. :-\
