I was sick as a dog for the first 3 months of my pregnancy, so working wasn't even an option. Fortunately, I have a wonderful guy who is cool with supporting me during and after the pregnancy. If I were in a tighter money situation, I might be taking advantage of this wonderful second trimester "high" - i.e. tons of energy, drive, lack of usual scatterbrained-ness, and (of course) massive, heaving bosoms to make as much cash as I could before I couldn't hide my belly under a corset anymore.
QFT. Take advantage of the second trimester high. Although I wasn't physically ill my first trimester, I was extremely emotional. Many nights I would sit in the dressing room just being angry at everyone. I even took a two week vacation to gather my thoughts. The morning that I reached 12 weeks, I'm not kidding you, I woke up feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed! I started working 4-5 nights a week again and BANKING. Yeah, so, OP, if it's possible for you to still work during that time and you feel up to it, it can totally be worth it.
