^Believeable and unbelievable at the same time!! Like everything in this industry. (MM)

When starting this review, I did it with the thoughts that everyone reading is of the same mind, getting the bottom dollar, regardless of what's going on in life. I didn't purposely exclude ppl like Sindi who supports a family on $11,000 a year, or ppl that went to Guam because of personal reasons in their life. It also seemed like a good match for my personal circumstances, and I thought it would be less than normal earnings, but not nearly as bad as it was.

I definitely had the images of certain girls burned in my mind the time of writing "ppl that owe their dealers, etc....." and was still absolutely furious over the way these beyoooond batshit (lol Anomar) women behaved torwards me, it especially culminated when it came close to me going home of course. I would never try to offend fellow sw'ers, and don't think anything bad of VivianBear, Megan, etc. for liking Guam. If you like it, cool. If you say it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, well you know you're lying. I think being just the type of person who would open themselves up to the idea of Guam says she's openminded, so it hurts me that you think I judge you for liking it. Vivian I def don't feel like "oh, one of THOSE girls that likes Guam" as you said in an earlier post.

And no one has disagreed about the money, contact, crazy bitches, etc. which are my top factors when choosing a club and I only assumed that's popular criteria for everyone. (And everyone has agreed about the extreme crookedness of mgmt.) Surely everyone knows you can make much more money in the US in a way better environment, but some will choose to come to Guam anyway, and my opinion is, be free but be informed. Vivian I hope you don't get jumpy for me referencning your Thailand post, but even saying "Some places in Thailand make Guam look like kidnergarten" is saying a lot.

So. Don't go there to make money, and don't be duped into thinking it will just be "slightly less."

Guam is not for everybody. Dancing anywhere in Asia isn't for everybody. Its taken me this long to really grasp the context of this entire region in regards to the strip club culture. I've seen strip clubs in Thailand that make Guam look like kindergarten. I'm sorry you had a hard time there but really, saying things like that is just cruel.

just to point out, i don't think that anyone would ever choose to dance in a third world country where women are trafficked into prostitution. Guam and Thailand are not comparable.

A lot of the girls from my club are making trips out to Guam. I must admit I am curious, but there is no way I could leave my life for 3 months due to school and having to tell my family where I am going and why!

I managed it... I just kept consistent about calling my mom every now and then. :D

Yeah, I called my mom about everyday too. But, I had to really be mindful of the time!

back to the money thing real quick.
the point of dancing is to make A LOT of money, not just money to live on.
if we wanted just normal money to live on right now, we'd go work retail.

i'm all the way in nyc, so going to guam wasn't on my list before and certainly is not now. thanks alaska, good job dealing with all that shit and telling us about it!

Well put. Like I was saying in a thread elsewhere about a DJ making 200$ a night. That's shit money. Though he might not have deserved even that from the sounds of it, in that particular case. I have been making 450-500$ a night in the middle of the summer slump here, which isn't bad money but nothing to brag about, and could go down before season starts.

I sure wouldn't go to Guam for a month to make 300$ a night busting my ass.

Selling 20$ drinks and 50$ lapdances is a serious challenge. I am impressed that Alaska made as much as she did, but there's no doubt in my mind she deserved a lot more for what she went through--and that a lot of women there didn't do nearly as well, as she said.

i am assuming those numbers were not including your weekly pay of $450? and it looks like you made about 2,000 appx in the first 10 days ... if anyone can bank more at other places, then Guam is not for those, but those are very similar to the numbers I did when I was there and it's still not bad, considering you get the pay on top, rather than start off in the hole ... although, yes you do run into some f'd up girls there ... sorry you had to deal with all that stupid crap ... some of my trips were better than others and a lot of it had to do with whether the girls were friends or trifling ... the best way to go to Guam is to go with 3 or 4 other girls that you like a lot and know you can work with ... although that's not easy to achieve either

Even after reading your whole thread, I was still thinking of going there. Until I read this.

The twenty bucks a joint thing. I think I sent this post to not where it's supposed to be.

Oh, so the numbers were or were not including your salary?
