Also I did not start dancing to pay for school. I started dancing mainly because I always wanted to, but the push to do it was paying for my other bills. I may continue to dance after I am done with school, but thats another 5 years away :-p.

Go figure by my display name... going for Nursing. One year left for the bachelor's degree and then another 2.5 years for a master's in Anesthesia. I find dancing to just be a good way to avoid the whole "poor college student" deal. I do it so I don't have to be piss poor. :-)

I'm working on a B.A. in Literature, but I'm considering either 1) going for my MFA after my first degree or 2) staying a couple of years to get my PreMed classes in and later going to Med school.
Right now, I think I'll continue stripping until I find whatever my post-college job will be. Doctor, photographer, or English lit teacher? I don't know.

I'm starting my third year of Law School in September. I've been dancing to pay uni, and to live, travel, get a BA, ect...
I'm currently studying in South America for a semester and saved up enough $$ before I left to live here for 5 months without working.
"It amuses me when customers dont believe me about this. One laughed when I said I had a law degree because apparently 2 other dancers at my club said the same thing before me "
SO true, most costumers don't even beleive me when I say I'm in Law school...Though I have to admit I look like what most men think as a "typical" stripper, blond hair, tanned, fake boobs...Not exactly the lawyer look haha But still, they usually just look at me and smile, then change the subject because they feel uncomfortable. Also, I think it doesn't help that I speak English with a French accent (I'm french canadian and studying in french at uni) it makes me sound more dumb to them I think..haha Oh well.. They can beleive what they want!

I started working towards Bachelor of Arts with an English major, but now I'm in a program to be a Legal Administrative Assistant. Once that's done I'll start dancing to pay off my debt :S I'm planning on finishing my BA eventually...

A couple of tips:
#1 For all of the English majors......if your university offers them, take a Technical Writing course. Most big companies use technical writers and it is a great way to get a low stress job with solid pay/benefits/perks with a top tier corporation.
#2 For the finance or economics majors....trust me, get your accounting degree instead. You will be exponentially more employable.

Going BACK after backing out of a BS in psychology, will be going for my RN degree, whatever acronym that requires (BSN? I think so... who cares, so long as I can do my job)
It will appeal to my meticulous nature. Although I probably won't be able to work after my second go round in biology. GERMS!

I've got one semester left in my B.A. for English with a concentration in Creative Writing. :-\
Ha, ha! Me, too! (minor is Art/Photography) This evidently means we HAVE to go to grad school...
I had one customer who asked what I was studying, I told him, and he replied, "GO kill yourself." I know he meant that he thought it was a worthless major, but...
I made him feel SOOOO bad for responding so rudely that he ended up apologizing and giving me a $100 bill - just to compensate for insulting me.
Hmm, maybe it was $worth$ it???? lol

I've got one semester left in my B.A. for English with a concentration in Creative Writing.
I'm practicing saying "would you like fries with that?" so I can find work when I'm done. :-\
Bwahahaha.
Japanese and English Lit double. The Japanese was the cop-out. I'm still head-desking over adding the English. SOOOO much work for so little pay-off.
Once I finish these (after my one year break) I plan on designing a major studying the Sex Industry. I feel like most texts on the subject are either demonizing or glamming-up by an ex-sex-worker, or academics missing the mark because they've never bothered working in the industry in any capacity, including staff.
