What a strange day at the club today. I spent $100 in stage tips today (tipping combinations of five, ten and twenty dollar bills) and did not have a single stripper ask of I wanted a dance. I didn't even get a "wanna dance" proposition. Truthfully, I was content just watching stages today but I still found it odd nonetheless.

For the first time in two years, I stopped in at the club by work. My favorite bartender was working and was shocked and overjoyed to see me. It was worth all the tips I then spent on her to be doted on and fussed over by her.

Well, with the ATF and I on the outs, going to see the bartender once in a while won't hurt. I spend less and have to subject myself to awful club music, but the bartender's attentions are worth it, I suppose.

I'm thinking about this apartment program that has random drug tests AND random apartment searches even though you have to pay to live there (30% of whatever you make for rent/utilities)... What the hell is a random apartment search? Are they digging through your place like a the police looking for evidence you killed someone? Or just a walk through on a monthly basis?
The upside is you get free counseling? Wtf? I don't think I want to live there anymore...
Also... hot sex... mmm...

Oh FUCK THAT NOISE!! It sounds like a sober house for those in recovery. I guess, if you are a major addict, and serious about recovery. But that would suck to pay 30% of your income to rent a place like that. I have a 2 mortgages, and they are only 25% of total income...which still sucks.

No, I am not an addict nor have I ever had a drug problem. Never had a possession charge or anything. It does sound like a sober living house, but I thought the program was aimed at helping you gain independence not searching your apartment that you PAY FOR for drugs? I'm limited at what I can do until I can prove I have verifiable and income and successfully build credit post CARD Act (Credit Card Bill of Rights), but my current living conditions are not suitable for my child. I was looking at that as a possible option, but I'm going to look elsewhere. If push comes to shove I'll put up with it--it's better than living in a house with a drunk when you have a small, impressionable child.

Laurisa, I wasn't assuming you are an addict. If its a good deal, then go for it. I do not feel comfortable allowing others to invade my privacy. And I've been in institutionalized settings before where my things certainly were searched. Those days are gone, and I appreciate freedom more than you know.

I have noticed PLs on this forum of late have come to the realization that they are PLs. They have canceled their accounts or do not post as much, yours truly included. This is what is happening in the clubs; PL just don’t participate. Some dancers want it that way; enjoy your empty clubs.
As for that other site; if a PL is a toe sucking toady he will get along just fine. There is nothing wrong with shrimping but the PLs are totally disrespected on that site with less than 300 members.

Not London, but I'd been living in the UK for seven years before moving back to the States this summer. I've been living in SoCal for about six months now (internal transfer within my company - same job, different division).

Well the lesson is: don't play in traffic. I was jaywalking/running and got hit mid stride. Oh ya...leg sideways, bone through the skin...think Joe Theismann. I was grabbing it and straightening it out before I hit the sidewalk. Nice catch if I do say so myself. When they cut off my longjohns in the ER, the circle of doctors, nurses, paramedics and cops visibly gasped and recoiled. It wasn't said, but the prevailing thought was obviously EWWWWWWWWWWW.
Got operated on that night, and was walking with crutches after lunch the next day, trailing my intravenus stand. They rebuilt my leg stronger than it was, and I'm way stronger in all ways for the experience.

Nah...they just took statements and let it go. I'm gonna try and contact the dude who hit me through the police to let him know I'm ok though. He was a good guy.
