For the last 3 days of this week I will:
1. Not eat ANY junk food... I'm drunk now and it's only gonna get worse this weekend so I want Jack in the Box NOW.
2. Take all my clothes that are taking up half of my roomies closet and finally put em in mine now that I remodeled it and made space. Oh and pull my hairballs out of the shower drain when I done..... and not flush more than 2 babywipes at a time. (I've clogged that shit TWICE this month)
3. Add 2 people to my makeup art portfolio.

:goodvibes: this is why I like this thread.
How is your end holding up? Did you try the dental floss to fix the stuffies?
Peanut_Butter
05-23-2008, 03:46 AM
I repaired 2 more stuffies, used regular thread, my puppy tore it off and ended up sick with the runs and pooped out thread :( Need to figure out a better approach. I woke up 6 times last night to take him outside. dental floss is a good idea...But I might want to find somethign that wont hurt his tummy in case he eats this too. I cant get rid of stuffiea ll together, he loves them to much. Maybe only supervised play from now on.
I havent acomplished anythign else on my list yet :( I did go to work tonight.....but I got very drunk, cried and came home. FAIL.
tomorrow is a new day

Ouchie. Damn. I know dental floss is as strong as fishing wire, but I don't know about how that works with big doggy teeth. DArn.
:( Boo. Bad Peanut. See you doing better tomorrow okay?! :D I'm counting on you, so don't let me down!

ok, this week
1. Work one night(Sun?) at the getto club that i kinda like here.
2. Leave San Antonio
I thought about adding a work trip to austin, sorta on my way out, but if the contact is as bad as SA, i think i'll skip it.

tomorrow will be better. I am going to pet ligers and tigers and other cool shit. I am going to reutn my library books for sure, I am going to walk 2 miles with my dog if he feels ok ( he seems better now so it should be fine).
work...haven't decided on that. I picked the wrong club to go to tonight, my mistake. Go to a different club tomorrow for a diffferent outcome...and less alcohol. I know better. I was just bored., The club sucked, was dead, really cheap drinks..so I sat at the bar and slammed shots alone to kill time. stupid. really stupid.
but like I said. New day tomorrow. I won't let ya down again :)

Ooh, perfect, it's Monday.
Work 3 shifts. Throw in a double if I can't make it three days.
Call the place I applied to to see if they are hiring me (gulp)
Completely clean my room. Mop and all.
Put away half of what I earn so that I can get my doggie's teeth cleaning/ geriatric workup done asap
Go to gym at least once, more if I get my kicker check in and can thus get a membership
Look at the budget for this month and crack down on excess spending.

For next week I will:
Work 5 days. Apply maximum effort.
Get the rest of school stuff done (drug test, physical, PPD, uniforms, all that crap)
Hike in the mountains on Sunday.
Walk my dog 2 miles every single day!
Hit on the guy at the park. (find my balls)
Lay out at the pool 1 day. ( mini vacation once a week is good for the soul)
Order pizza just once for the whole week. ( very very hard for me to do.)
ok. Results:
Haven't worked. :( I have a god excuse. And I am for sure workign this weekend, come hell or high water. Will apply max effort.
I did not go hiking on Sunday because my dog was sick and needed to rest at home.
I did hit on the guy at the park and we are going hikign together next sunday :P
I haven't laid out by the pool, but we had a cold snap and then rain ( WTF? it was 115 one day, 57 the next day, then rain. strange...)
I have not ordered pizza all week.
I returned my library books and I took my drug test for school.
All in all, not to bad. I acomplished almost everythign on my list, barring a few unavoidable circumstances.

I ran more today. Remind me to run in the morning on Thurs-Sat because the yelling and hey-babying and whistling by drunk college kids is too much for me. Very distracting.
I did deep-clean the kitchen.
Still haven't found a new place to live. Boo. New goal: Find somewhere to live!
Everyone keep up with your goals!
How are you doing on the pizza PB? And BonBon, did you clean your room?
Lys: Keeping up with your exercise?

After no pizza for a week, I had it yesterday and today. And now I feel ill:(. But I did keep to my promise:)
Lys...how goes the cardio?? How far did you walk? was it a fast pace?
Good job for working out even though you couldn't find a gym. that shows real commitment and dedication!
I haven't decided on my goals yet for this comming week. I'm stil prioritizing.
Lysondra

I'm jumping in..I need some motivation about now.
This week I will:
-Hang out with a female friend during the workweek because I want to and being social makes me feel good about myself.
-Return to the gym.
-Continue to cut down drastically on chilling with the enemy: Cheese and pasta.
Lysondra

YAY YOU DID REALLY WELL ROSE.
PEAAAAANUT WHERE'S YOUR UPDATES?! I am getting cranky with you young lady. ;) You too, BonBon.
KaiKai, those are very good goals! Can you specifically tell me how much you're going to cut down your cheese and pasta intake so I can better track your progress?
This week:
Keep my personal spending budget down to $200. I spend way too much.
Gym twice at least. Three times at best.
Buy lots of fruit and veg at grocer. Eat most of it. Nom.

I've done poorly so far this week.
I went to the gym and I'm too sore to do yoga.
Haven't studied my Japanese alphabets.
Haven't called the temple.
Veg meals maybe once or twice, not three times...
Lysondra
06-02-2008, 06:17 PM
I failed at the $200 spending limit already. I spent $100 drinking last night and then bought wool stockings ($40) and a hairclip ($30)... and if my remedial massage tonight ($100) counts as my spending money, I went over..... unless..you know... it IS remedial....
Boo.

KaiKai, those are very good goals! Can you specifically tell me how much you're going to cut down your cheese and pasta intake so I can better track your progress?
But of course! I have decided to allow myself no pasta UNLESS it is in a Lean Cuisine/Weight Watchers (because of the small portions) meal that I would eat for dinner. I have two of them for sometime during this week.
I am allowing myself cheese twice until next Sunday.
So far so good, :::knock on wood:::

sorry I'm late. Thought i posted this the other day, but I guess not.
Ok...This week:
Go to CPR class.
Go hiking on Tuesday. No flaking out. 5 mile minimum.
2 mile walk every day around the lake. no excuses.
No Pizza until Saturday.
Wash, fold, put away at least 3 loads of laundry this week.
really deep clean the living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. One room a day.
Go back to the library and check out new intellectual books, and 1 leisure read.
Drink 1 gallon of water every day. ( currently I can go for days at a time with no water intake, only soda. very bad)
Last but not least:
I teach my dog something new each week. this week it's the word "stuffie" So when I say find your stuffie! He will know. I already taught him to find the cheese....that was easy, lol. But he knows the find command. now he needs to learn the words of different objects. ( some people think teaching your dog tricks is mean. dog should be dogs. My dog is really smart, and he gets bored easily. He likes learnign new tricks, cause they are fun games to him. And he loves to play "find it" games. I try to keep him stimulated, physicially and mentally.)
soo....thoes are my goals.

you can totally put the pics on a cd and take it in to the drug store, or walmart, or even a grocery store maybe. they have those kodak kiosks where you print pics yruself, and you can use cds, memory sticks, even the actually memory card from your camera...and yes, I do believe you can email them even. check the drugstores website...I think you can email.... but yeah you have options. I always put them on CD's and take over to print.

ohh! If I hide the cheese in or under the stuffie and say "find your stuffie" his nose will take him to the cheese, but he will make the connection that find the stuffie= treat! Good idea! Thanks.
Lysondra

I went hiking for 6 miles!! it was hard too. Lots of uphill. My poor puppy barely made it. He had fun though. And so did I. It was great!
Samba
06-03-2008, 04:29 PM
Did you have to carry him for part of it?
Well, good for you for getting out there. a girlfriend of mine keeps inviting me to go hike with her and I keep blowing her off...
Peanut_Butter
06-03-2008, 04:40 PM
^ I carried him for a few minutes, but it was uphill and he was too heavy. I knew he could make it, even if he was tired. We've gone longer.
oh, also..I started to teach him to find his stuffie last night. At first, all he heard was the find it part, so he started to run around sniffing for cheese. But the only cheese was hidden under his stuffie. So when he found the cheese, I said Good boy! You found Booda! Yeah, that's Booda!!
After a few minutes, he figured out what I wanted and when I said find Booda, he went right to it. (it was just right in front of us, not hidden. But he needs to learn what the word means)
So at the end, I was able to start moving the stuffie a few feet away and telling him to find it and he went over to it right away. Tonight when he wakes up fron his nap, I'll do that again, and if he does well, I'll start moving it further away, or hiding it somewhre kinda obvious, like behind the door, where he can still see it but he will learn better what he is supposed to find.
So YAYAYAY. 2 things acomplished. ( 1 ongoing all week)
Oh..but I had pizza today. I figured I deserved it after such a long hike, but I only had 2 slices. No more for the week!
Samba!! Go hike!! You will feel amazing!! It's so nice to be in nature. And it makes you feel so good.
