This week:
Yoga every morning. 4/7 mornings
20 minutes cardio. changed my mind about this one. I'm doing upper/ lower body splits. 6/7 days this past week.
Eat at least 3 fresh vegetarian meals per day. Based on 5 meals a day. I haven't been eating that much, but 1 or 2 meals are veg.
Study hiragana and katakana. Ahem. Opened the book for 20 minutes once...
Contact local Buddhist temple and attend a service. Called, going Sunday.

I'll add this weeks goals in a minute.

^ unfortunatly, no. I started school today and dont think I will have the time to put forth proper effort. I had wanted to do it before school started....

My goals for this week:
Have a smoothie for breakfast every day, a healthy lunch for school and a reasonable dinner.
Go hiking on Sunday.
Walk my dog on Wed, Fri and Sat.
Go to school every day and do my homework every night.

How are all of you doing this week? I may be away, but I'm keeping track.

PB, has your dog learned 'stuffie' yet?

Peanut_Butter
06-10-2008, 10:10 PM
We are still working on it, but he is doing very well. His biggest issue is that he knows the "find" command..so as soon as I say find, he runs off sniffing, before he listens to what I'm asking him to find. But then I say wait, find your stuffie, and I point to the stuffie, or general area it's hidden ( behind an open door, under the chair; easy spots) The treat is hidden under the stuffie, so when he finds the stuffie, he finds the treat. When he brings it back to me, I praise him and give him aother treat ( also teaching him to retrieve in the process. When he's bringing it to me anyway, I say " bring it back")

He's doing very well. It's the hardest thing I've taught him, and we aren't ready to move on yet, but he's learning. I'm proud :)

I have a few hours to do this stuff, but maybe posting it will light a fire under my fat ass.
turn off the tv and close the computer
1. workout
2. dishes
3.laundry
4.vacuum
5. pick out an outfit to wear to work
6. get ready for work and be there by 7pm
i have no energy, just making this list is making me hungry and tired. I hate my period :(

MeanGirl
06-11-2008, 02:06 PM
well that was ambitious.
I did not workout
I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen n breakfast room, sweeped the floors
vacuumed the living room, enrty , bedroom and upstairs hallway
brushed my dog (she sheds like a maniac)

Now I will at least stretch, pick out my outfit and get ready for work. i am starting at a new club tonight. Have not even auditioned or applied yet, I guess I am being optimistic as I cleaned out my locker at my old club already. i have been visiting this new club on the weekends though and they said they would be happy to have me. Thing is, my old club was alot more conservative gown and dress club compared to this one where everyone is already almost naked. So I have worn nothing like that in 2 years..ughh.
Im giving myself til 4:30 before i have to get ready... my nerves feel wired.

Wooo! I did everything this week except actually get the deposit money back though it should be there when I get to my box Monday.

This week:
Focus on that Law of Attraction thing every day. Even five minutes. Attract things (money, good people, a better place to live)

Yoga may not work due to toe prob (downward dog-not doable), so the boring Pilates dvd-twice.

Work 4 shifts.

Rest the foot.

Get steering wheel cover and vitamins.

Read ahead for next two weeks for class. Take out/buy copy of The Odyssey. Start to read.

Also: refusing to be bitter about Father's Day. And making progress on my therapy worksheet.

where have I been? SLACKER!!

OK. well, with my school..I currently have the highest grade in the class, I missed 1 question on 1 test, once. fucked up.

So that's going very well. But..that's absolutly all I have been doing.

What I would like to do is before school take a quick walk with my dog ( maybe 15-20 minutes) and eat a smoothie for breakfast. If I could acomplish those 2 things, I would be very pleased with myself.

Lysondra
06-30-2008, 09:19 PM

So to make sure i eatbreakfast tomorrow, I got a package of oatmeal out, put it in a bowl, and also put my little container of eggbeaters in the bowl, and put it right on the top shelf of the friedge. so when I wake up tomorrow and go to get a drink, breakfast is right there waiting for me.

Unfortunatly, in order for me to eat breakfast and take a short walk, I will need to wake up at 4am tomorrow morning, cause I ahve to leave the house at 6a to get to school in time :(

Lysondra
06-30-2008, 11:44 PM
I hope you have nummy oatmeal tomorrow!! :) :)
When you have time you should put chopped fruit in it for extra noms.

Peanut_Butter
07-01-2008, 04:37 AM
ugh. well, I'm up in time for everything. it sucks. but here I am! off to nummy oatmeal!

I did it!
:( breakfast made my tummy feel a little funny tho. Tomorrow I think I'll just make a smoothie for breakfast.
Dash enjoyed his morning walk around the apartment complex.

Oh! Another thing to add to my list: I am a vegitarian, but not for health reasons. Just cause I never have liked meat. I have been trying to eat some chicken lately, becaue I am anemic and have a very low blood pressure and am always tired and shit. So it is my goal to have a little bi of chicken at some point this week as well.
Last week I had my first bite of chicken, rotisserie..it was pretty good...definatly not my favorite thing ever, but I got it down and it was ok.

Okay, so far: 2x Pilates! AND did a half mile on treadmill. Realized I suck on cardio.
Ate fruit and veg more often, but not 3x a day. More like one. It is a start.
Took the ACV once. I will take it the next two days.
Doing 2 shifts this weekend, but I scheduled 4 shifts next week at and old club and the new one.
Contemplating going to Kinkos tonight to get the credit stuff done.

Not a fantastic week, but I got lots of sleep, did my final, and exercised, so I'm happy. The next two days are work, so I'll sort out my goals for next week on Sunday!

For this week:

Keeping the exercise twice a week despite failing all the damn time.

Eating a fruit or veg at every meal (stole it from above!)

Take ACV every day again.

3 shifts this week.

Resend my name change stuff to the credit reporting people because somehow it wasn't big enough. Grrrr.
Get better. Can't do much else until my health stops sucking.

RoseLeigh
07-06-2008, 07:08 PM
Okay-new goals:

Mail credit report stuff!

Exercise 3x this week. 2 of the Pilates/yoga video. 1/2 mile on the treadmill (cardio).

4 shifts.

Return old licence plates to DMV.

Get car inspected.

Braggs ACV everyday. Law of attraction thinking everyday.

Start saving 1% of every shift's money for charity.

Spend 1/2 hour M-th on language book.

Get copy of the Aeneid. Start reading. 1/2 hour a day at least.

I need to focus more on a functioning life, every day, instead of getting tired and lazy and being distracted by boy and worrying. I'm trying to make exercise part of my life, even after school starts.
