^^Yep... If you are getting aggravated at repetativeness after a month, just wait until the next rash of pregnancies. Boy, oh boy, do we talk about some mama issues. Or just wait until I'm in full panic mode over buying this stupid vacay home and am posting 10X a day about the pros and cons of condo vs condotel mortgages. :P UH OH!!! I think I feel a huge need for advice coming on!!!! }:D Better turn off the computer meh_baby.

I don't think that meh_baby was especially concerned with the repetitiveness of the threads per se, but more with the content of said repetitive threads.

CE left after he decided he no longer belonged here, which may have had something to do with inappropriate PMs sent by him.

Oh, I think I saw a thread mentioning some PM's sent by a male member. I never would have guessed they came from him though. He never lit up my jerk radar. I guess I miss a lot on here.

Hmmm, there's some good snarkeling* in SW today... 8)

Ive had people search my name and find me on SW. There are comments on some of the websites that say SW in them. It really annoyed me but Id never change my SN.

Ugh. MySpace idiots do that shit to me ALL the time, it's so fucking annoying. I had one guy who used to email me at my Hotmail account with random shit like, "Hello Ashlee, how are you? By the way, the difference between jello and jelly is..." and when I replied "WTF are you on about?" he'd be like, "Oh, I was just replying to the thread you made on StripperWeb." But these were threads I'd made like 6 months ago, and he used to email me that kind of stuff all the time, it was so fucking creepy. Then he found all the domain names I'd ever registered by doing a lot of detective work and managed to find one that I'd not set as private registration so then he started emailing me answers to things I'd asked on SW but was calling me by my real name.

Fucking freaks out there, I tell ya.

Darcy Foxx

I was going to add some kind of high minded comment on this subject but then I thought better of it and decided this LOL cat had more useful advice. Mostly because I have been dying to have a reason to use it ;)

ps: had to edit the pic size to get it to fit in the upload and it messed up the text :( It was supposed to say- Walk away, this does not concern you. Bummer my first LOL cat and I effed it up. Grr!

we um.. know that. and the majority of us do not want to be unionized. but thanks for sharing ::)

Yes. Some of you do, but I'm not talking formal unionization which would bring up a lot of problems. Nor am I talking about appointing a Queen Bee to talk for the dancers. Organize the same way you do when you want to rid yourself of 'extras' gals or druggies. I'm sure you can come up with a 'creative' way to do this en mass.

I know you mean well ... we benefit more with independent contractor status. Discussing this is like beating a dead horse so... What's legal and how strip club politics actually work are very different....

If you read what I actually wrote I'm not talking about become employees. I'm talking forcing changes in club policy. This is by creatively and subtly intimidating club management with your knowledge of the IRS rules. All it would take is for one dancer who has 'already' quit the club to go to her local IRS Investigative unit and make an anonymous documented complaint. It could have been anyone if everyone knows the IRS rules. I already know several problems with this if you don't mind being constantly disrespected and taken advantage of by onerous club policies.

AudreyLeigh
06-04-2008, 10:10 AM
we do?! :O

Well, good thing I have you here telling me what I do or dont want because I have no mind of my own and have no idea how to make my own decisions.

If I wanted to be unionized Id drive the 1 1/2 hours to SF instead of the 1 1/2 hours to Reno...

Ugh. For real. Funny is that when I responded to him the post was one line - now its all 2 paragraphs. Im just going to start reporting his posts because they have

1) nothing to do with the OP
2) hes not a stripper and needs to stop telling us whats best for us...

Wow...you must have been a stripper for a long time to be able to figure out how all of this works. Since you're so knowledgeable on the subject, why don't you start the trend and see how many follow?

she's reincarnated before. that's all i'm saying.

i also think that anyone who cries for attention on a delete me thread will reincarnate. now, i am only saying she was asking for attention when she replied to her own delete me post. she was checking up on that.

I did ACTUALLY read what you wrote and was trying to be polite. Trust me the least thing I worry about is management finding out I may work at another club. Please, quit you DON"T HAVE A CLUE what you're talking about. No dancer wants to quit and be an IRS rat. Great, so we can have the IRS look even closer at out earnings and tip outs. We already had some "captain save a ho", put together a class action law suit in Las Vegas. This would destroy the Vegas industry. Probably a result of some idiot wanting the clubs to treat us better but resulted in that. NO FUCKING THANKS!

There are many other things that are a bigger deal than having spies look for you at another club, extras and druggies. Try being forced to be under weight to get your shift. Giving hosts an huge cut of your money to you have access to high rollers. Are these club rules? NO, but you learn quit how to advance yourself. Also, we do know how to promote ourselves as a business. Myspace, biz cards, promos and the club website. You, obviously know NOTHING about this world, so do us a favor and shut the hell up>:(

I'm also smart enough to know how to manage my own taxes, tax shelters, investments and health care. Unlike you, I don't need big brother to do it for me. High earners thrive in a free market, we don't want more regulation and we really don't want some customer coming over her and imparting his "wisdom".
