^^ Same here. I'm going to be in school for almost another decade and then I'd like to have time to watch my career flourish since I worked so hard.

I also feel sick to my stomach when looking at all the diagrams on the gyno's walls. Discussions of children always make me have the same "thank god its not me" feeling. It would just feel like the end to me. Also, considering I was far from an easy child to raise I'm sure my kids would be hellions.

I do enjoy other peoples well behaved children. There were a few kids that made me reconsider my feelings about childbirth. I guess its something I can't really understand completely without having children, but I'm perfectly content without them so I don't see the need.

I don't plan to have children. I have the opposite of baby fever. Everytime I hear someone is pregnant I think to myself, thank God it's not me.

I have baby chills.

I'm the same way.

i would be a lot more into the idea of getting pregnant if i could give birth to a litter of puppies, or kittens, or koalas, really.

No, no plans for babies. Now. Or ever. I shutter to think what my kids would be like. Plus, I willingly admit that I am just too damned selfish.

LOL I say the same thing! I've gone thru spells when I was in the puppy love stage of past relationships.. but it quickly went away once I remembered all the precious money I earn going to someone but selfish little ol me! lol, that and i like my body tight.. it can stay that way.

No desire to be pregnant or relinquish my freedom. Plus I think I'd be a shitty mum:

"Mama, can we throw water balloons at the postman?"
"Oh sure. Save one for me."

I've often joked about delivering a puppy as well. It's silly but kind of true that I feel stronger maternal urges for a darling puppy than towards creating a human life. I have deep respect for the joy of parenthood...insofar as it applies to other people!
