That boy band that came from the TV show... O Town, they kept telling me that was their band and I should come to their bus, but I hate music like that and therefore had no clue who O town was so I told them they were full of it! lol...
So I go home and look it up online... ooops!
Korn came to one of my clubs too, kept begging girls to go back to their bus with em so I said fuck it I'm not gonna even talk to em ( I hate guys like that).

when I first started dancing I got to meet Rick James over memorial day weekend in '02. He tipped okay and he did want a girl or two to go back to his hotel room. I didn't believe him at first but wasn't rude about it. When our dj came in and said it WAS Rick James I about had a fit!
I'd love to meet Steve Carrell. He seems so cool.

Lol- Rick James??? I would have ran to the dj and begged him to play Superfreak so I could do a lapdance interpretation!
I haven't danced for any movie stars that I can think of. Some rock stars though.

I didn't dance for him, but I met Marilyn Manson and his band several years ago when they were in town for Ozzfest. I also danced for members of Slipknot and they gave me free passes to the show. It was kind of funny though, because I had no clue who they were. But they did spend money and were cool.
I've also danced for comedian John Pinette. He was a riot and a great tipper.
I've danced for football player Marshall Faulk, back when he was with the Colts. And I've danced for Pacers like Reggie Miller and Rick Smits, and Travis Best was actually a regular of mine for a short while. They were all pretty nice.

He's not a movie star, but I danced for Jeff Gordon once. In town for the races, he'd trimmed up his eyebrows and wore a ball cap and came to my stage. The guys with him all wore racing tees and then when I turned his cap around I recognized him right off. He asked for my discretion as he didn't want to be hounded by the customers for autographs and such. He wasn't there for more than an hour, but he tipped me well. I also danced for guys from the LBZ and some random Colts and Pacers. That's about it...

I've met tons of celebs, but never danced for any that I can recall...
One tme tho, Ludacris was at my club and he walked past me and told me my oufit was sexy as hell. But I was to shy to hit on him. I have a crush on Ludacris
Usually tho, when celebs are in the club, all the girls are swarmign around that area tryign to get in on the action, and usually , there isnt any action at all, and they are just wasting their time on famous but cheap idiots who think they are entitled to everything free.
It's been my experience that when a celeb is at the club, that eally frees up bunches of other, much more profitable custoemrs for me. So I never waste my time trying to get to the famous people.
One time tho, this backfired. Someone at one club ( i dunno who it was) starting raining hundreds around his booth. If I had been in the area, I might have picked up a couple hundred bucks. I missed out.:(

I danced for Steve Carrell once. He seemed a bit depressed and pretended to be a Mexican construction worker named Juan. I played along and he tipped me very well.

Our dj did play Superfreak that night that Rick James came up. I think I was on stage 1 when he did it.
The big boss at my club is a former NFL player. If I remember right he played for the Broncos and the Saints (it's been awhile since I asked him). He played for a few years when he got out of college in the 70s but had to quit because of his knees. I talked to some football players who said they were from the Saints. Im not sure who they even were so I don't know if they were serious or not. They did have money.

Iz jelus @ undressjess! Michael Rosenbaum is awesome. Someone I know kept watching that show even after it got lousy just because of the homoerotic sexual tension. :D And he apparently encourages the fangirl interpretations.

I've never danced for anyone famous, unless I didn't recognize them. Howard Stern and Jared Leto have been in SR when I was working but didn't talk to either one of them.
I did, however, used to date the drummer from Cracker...you know they had that one song, Low?
LOL

Not a movie star, but the drummer from Arcade Fire. And this was before they were famous. I only recognized him because he used to date this young punky veterinarian I worked with (who also dated a guy from Sloan...she was all rock and roll before she became a vet).

Hulk Hogan (f'ing asshole - came in dressed like he normally does then threw a fit when customers recognized him)
Hank Williams Jr. Had no idea who he was, thought he was a cowboy that tipped me really well and kept buying drinks.
KORN - cheap cheap cheap

I danced for Andrew Wilson (Owen Wilson's brother)...Owen was also there, along with Kate Hudson and Matt Dillon. Kate was having fun tipping all the girls lots of ones, and Matt Dillon took this ugly chick that looked like a man to VIP.
I also danced for Larry the Cable Guy...he was so cool and tipped well. He bought me dances with him, his whole crew and even the limo driver.

keanu reeves - spacy, but not like bill and ted spacy. he bought a dance from every girl in the club that night. I heard later on that he was going through some horrible shit in his life.
Mickey Dolenz - The Monkees made a movie didn't they? He tried to get me to go to dinner with him, but I told him he was too old and asked if he would introduce me to the dude who played him in the vh1 movie. he said no.
Not movie stars but remember that band Live? - they came in and covered the stage with 20s as soon as i got on it. they bought dance after dance, didn't care when i told them i hated their music, and never tried to make a move on me. best. customers. ever. Eventually they left because some strangers started buying dances and drinks and telling the waitress to put it on Live's tab.
I know there's more, but I drink too much at work to remember all that shit.

I danced for a bunch of NY Giants when they came in.... but I don't really know if they fit the category. They're not really rock stars or movies stars or anything.

I don't think I have.
I had some guy say he was famous. He broke out a brick of 100's back in Vegas.
Then he got pissed when I ordered a drink AND a shot....::)
before Avenged Sevenfold was "big", some guy said he was their drummer, but again, I think it was a lie. I looked them up, and at the time, didn't recognize the guy. Unless he drastically changed.
If any sports celebrities ever came in, I wouldn't know who they were.
I probably wouldn't recognize many celebrities, unless Alex Gaskarth came in. ;D
OH YEAH! The band LIVE came into Crazy Horse Too once. They were very generous...and a little mysterious!

I don't think I've danced for anyone famous (at least not that I knew of), I met the Brad- bassist of 3 Days Grace, when I worked at Body Shop in west hollywood and we went to breakfast a couple times. Plies comes into mons (where I work now) but I've never talked to him. I don't consider him 'famous' but another girl mentioned bubba the love sponge, I used to do promos for his show and 98 rock alot.. uhmmm.. I've hung out with papa roach at some house they rented in the hollywood hills, met dennis rodman.. I know there's alot more people (I did live in hollywood, lol).. but I'm having a brain dead moment, lol

A few weeks ago, a big group of guys came into my club for a bachelor party. They were all wearing those Groucho Marx type glasses with a fake nose and mustache attached, I didn't really bother trying to hustle them b/c large groups intimidate me, but after they'd been there for awhile one of them came over to me and said "See my friend over there? The one with the curly hair, his name is Harry and he wants to talk to you." So I walk over, talk to him for a sec, everyone at the table kind of giggles when I call him Harry, but I didn't really think anything off it. So, we get back to the dance area, he sits down, takes off the glasses, and its Mother f-ing Orlando Bloom. It took every ounce of my stripper composure to not lose my shit and start gushing over how much I love him. He is BEAUTIFUL in person, very nice, and tipped well.

I met Christian Bale when he was filming T4 in Albuquerque. All I could choke out was "Uhhhhh you look really hot naked covered in blood wielding a chainsaw" He was pretty cool. He laughed and autographed my American Psycho novel that I happened to have stashed in my oversized tote.

I didn't dance for this guy.. no chance after I accidentally offended him in conversation (oops)
There was this Asian guy who looked really familair, and I thought that I'd probably danced for him before, so I came up to say hello. He said we hadn't met, that his name was John Cho and I probably recognized him from movies (he named a couple of cheesy flicks). I asked what he was doing in Toronto, and he said he was shooting a new movie, called Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle.
He explained that the movie was about 2 guys who get stoned and try to get to a hamburger joint.
Now, I'm a huge snob when it comes to cinema, so I responded sincerely, and without thinking, blurting out that it sounded as dumb as Dude Where is My Car
John stared at me, said 'well...it's the same director, actually. Excuse me.' and walked away.
oops!
He ended up going with a Romanian dancer, whom he kept in the VIP for a few hours, and came back to see her a few more times the following week.
One of the clubs where I worked in Toronto was visited by the Backstreet Boys (years ago)...they ran up a huge bill and refused to pay, having assumed that celebrity status would cover it. (wrong!)

Well back when I first started dancing I danced for the band Fastway it was right before Thanksgiving and they were playing in Orlando the next day. They invited me along on the tour bus .But I could not go because I was going with my family to see my grandmother. Another time I met Circle of Soul .My boss let me leave the club to watch them play at a club around the corner. She came to get me and brought me back. After their gig they came back to the club and I was dancing nude with only the backstage pass on a chain around my neck .The band bought me a bunch of bottles of champagne and they were drinking it out of the bottles sitting around the stage. Now one time I was bartending dayshift in a stripclub in Savannah,Georgia Keanu Reeves came in only one dancer was there at the time he bought both of us a couple drinks and a table dance from her .He was in town working on the film The Gift. He was very down to earth and really nice talked with us about an hour .Why not he was our only customer in a quiet dark bar veryy cool guy . Francinista

i've danced for an old dude who was in a band that did the song for the ending credits for pulp fiction. does that count?
honestly, i've seen more celebrities at a restaurant i worked at than i have in la clubs. but i don't care who you are as long as you're giving me lots of money.
