Don't forget the Porsche owners...tax them especially high...;)

hahahha ding :P

Porsche owners are way more pretentious than Escalade owners. I mean, we have all heard the Porsche and porcupine joke ;)

Seriously, x is a free market guy. Which is a rarity around this place.

I'm down with that, and also Golfers... I'm thinking add a TAX per hole they play because we all know Golfers live a rich and sinful life and really don't need their extra $$s.

If they tax by the stroke...I am so screwed...;D

The porcupine joke is weak.... it's okay to be a prick, as long as you are a big prick (and yes, I am talking about girth here too, not just distance). But nice try ... my 18-19mpg city shows I am more green then you which means I am a caring and sensitive guy, more concerned about the environment then Escalade owners are.

Anyway, it's good to know those in the 250K$ club are gonna pay off the national debt. I can go waste some more gas.

x I was kidding. And that fact that you make more money than me and want to sluff off the tax burden in my direction tells me you are one of those folks that take advantage of the tax laws instead of paying your fair share. For shame ;)

The American public can't relate to this. YOU are driving a big expensive car (well, more like a rolling house). You are bad. Pay up and fix the American economy sucka. That is all.

Escalade owners are single handedly responsible for the entire environmental problem. Never mind that they represent .000001% of the cars on the road, let alone .00000000000000000001% of the entire sources of pollution world wide. They are bad because it is so much simpler to blaim them for using up all the gas. Now imagine, an Escalade owner who makes over 250K a year? Ultimate sinner right here. If we tax them hard, Bushes multi-trillion war should be paid off tomorrow. I vote FBR is going down.

I put some money aside offshore. I may go down eventually but until then I will spend the money on strippers tax free. They will love me and give the bird to your Porsche.

FBR, I see where you are going with this. I am disappointed you don't feel it is your obligation to fix the debt problem others created by spending wildly without regards to costs, but oh well, I think we can all agree on one thing...

The Senate, House of Representatives and the new Cabinet should get a nice big fat tax break and what the hell, a self voted in raise too in 2010!

The reason Obama is starting to make me nervous and why he might actually push me to vote for McCain ( a prospect I do NOT relish ) is recent history. Clinton promised a middle class tax cut and not only never delivered; he RAISED taxes on the middle class. If anything , he CUT taxes for the upper classes with his capital gains tax cuts.

Obama wants to raise taxes on BOTH income and capital gains AND increase FICA taxes.
He doesn't want to do anything about high gasoline prices repeatedly saying we must "cut demand". No new nukes ( at one point he seemed to have an open mind about nuclear power but not anymore ); no new drilling not in ANWAR; not offshore; no oil shale; no wind farms off Nantucket; no clean coal and at some point I have to ask Obama and the other Dem dummies- "What am I supposed to put in my gas tank ? Air ? ."

I don't like McCain's policies and he seems to promise too much of the same old; same old and I DO think the Republicans NEED a sound thrashing to get their heads back on straight but the enthusiasm I once had for Obama is rapidly dissipating.

If Obama gets elected and is able to jam the tax increases through I will just lower my salary and get the money through perks that I am currently paying for.

^ He'll never get them through the Senate.

Anyway, why are you not paying yourself less and taking the perks instead right now? If they are legitimate, you are tossing money out the window.
