how is this thread mocking anyone? She started this to give the opportunity to share stories... doesn't have to be your own... maybe something you heard. If you don't want to share then it's simple... dont share.
She is not making light of anything. everyone here is aware of how serious this stuff is... she was even brave enough to talk about some of the mishaps she has dealt with... if it's too personal for you then keep it to yourself. no one has a gun to your head saying you have to type your story out and press post!

as strippers.. we see alot of messed up stuff and messed up people. but really it's sad how in general alot of women have had to deal with rape of molest of some kind sometime in their life. the statistics are saddening.
when I was younger... around 8 or 9... my aunt(who has a daughter my age) got married to an older guy. Because my cousin and I are so close in age we spent alot of time together...I would constantly come over and spend the weekend and watnot. Until one day he suddenly touched me in an inappropriate way. I was too scared and embarrassed to say anything so progressively the touching got worse until one day I woke up(i was sleeping in the guest room) to him laying next to me touching my breasts. I guess what finally gave me the courage to speak up was the thought of my poor cousin living with this disgusting man and altho she'd never told me... I knew that he was molesting her too. years later we touched on the subject but she never fully admitted to me that he was molesting her.

And it's not just strippers but women in general. A friend of mine was raped, I've been taken advantage when drunk. At the time I thought it was just drunken one night stands but later in life, after I found some self esteem realized that they abused me, I too was just so naive and young and had no self respect. Luckily I didn't get std's or anything. Before I became "sexually active" at 18 I had been through major depression+OCD and literally had to build myself up all over again, the bottom is a scary place.

How do you/would you react in these situations if they happened again to you or to someone you know? I feel like I'm always unconsciously alert and ready to fight back. Stories of rapes -old (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_House_of_Dolls) or new (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritzl_case)- and sex traffic (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0419365/) make me feel sick and violent, if only all women could get strong and even like this awesome woman who also was a stripper:

"Walking home from school at the age of nine she was gang raped by five men. Her attackers were never prosecuted and it was rumored that the judge had been paid off. This prompted her to learn the martial arts of aikido and karate and, over the next 15 years, track down each rapist and enact revenge. "I made a vow to myself that I would someday, somehow get even with all of them," she said years later. "They never knew who I was until I told them."

I want to be apart of the solution not the problem so I will ignore the ignorance

anyone else want to speak on the topic?

Please do tell, what is YOUR solution to the problem?
Are you going to run for senate or get child rape laws passed?
Are you going to speak about the penalties for those that hurt children? Or suggest stricter ones?
Are you going to suggest websites that help those that have been through traumatic events to read up on and seek guidance from experienced people in the know?

Didn't think so.
Because you would have done so by now.

Or are you simply going to keep bringing it up as to exploit the events people have survived through because you have a morbid fixation with taboo sexual encounters?

Here I'll post some links that will help those that are SURVIVORS of Incest, Child abuse and rape. It is never too late to seek help or possibly prosecute depending on the laws in your area.

Jasmine, sorry this thread probably hasnt helped u deal with any issues. But cant u understand why most girls dont want to be reminded of rape? I dont know anybody hear but in my personal life not many people know the truth of my childhood. I like it that way. I cant change it or even hide from the truth BUT I do feel better when I dont talk about it in my conversations. Thats why I keep a diary for the days when I have a lot of past emotions on my mind I can just let it all out and not open it again or be asked about it again until Im ready.

Yes I went to group & single counseling until I was 18. That is probably why I am not as ashamed anymore. But it will forever be painful to discuss how it makes me feel. because what I went through personally I would feel like a traitor talking about another womans nightmare.

I really want to read cupcake brown sometime soon! So this thread wasnt all bad!

Lovely bones is worth a read too.
Bastard out of Carolina is worth watching but really hard. Although I think for many people who've not lived through it...understand it more.
I feel the same way about Monster.

Jasmine I don't think anything is wrong with this thread at all so don't defend yourself, some people just don't know how to be human.

I couldn't agree more.....its like being back in junior high on this thread. If the thread doesn't relate to you, what is the problem with going to another thread. I swear some of you "ladies" thrive off drama.

Not sure why people are getting angry in this thread but I skimmed over it. Why is it in member boards?? Scratches head.

I worked with this girl who had some kind of mental illness, was homeless, and the manager felt sorry for her so he let her stay with him and work at the club even though she would go all crazy and throw her money on the ground not caring if anyone took it, give free blowjobs in the men's bathroom, and argue with herself in the mirror. It was pretty sad actually.

There are a lot of stripper horror stories I've heard; girls being raped by their fathers/step-fathers/mothers; girls being stalked or threatened by custies/ex-boyfriends, beaten, you name it. We exist in a realm unknown to most other women, and we need each other for support and encouragement. Don't be put off by others with negative views on the subject, and if you don't like the thread, don't read it.

Some of your stories almost brought me to tears, and to you, I offer my love and prayers. Stay strong!

really??? and how long have u been dancing???? r u serious? thats the most out landish thing u have heard? seriously????

I think it's uncalled for and totally out of line for a housemom to say that.

I have danced quite a while, and sorry, but it's rude.

Don't like this thread? Then go find another one. Back to the topic. The" Piece of Cake" book was amazing. Cupcake Brown(yes, that is her actual name) went through abuse and drug addiction. Yet she overcame it all to become a lawyer. Just goes to show that anyone can overcome their past.

Sophia_Ashley: "Dude what is with a ton of newbs that are border line fucking retards here?! Seriously. We get rid of the dick infestation and get it replaced by a ton of highschool children that want to sail on a ship of titties and one dollar bills flying around with blow while swapping stories of incest and rape."

can you believe this was said^

I dont know what the fuck this thread turned into... but sharing painful stories can be a form of healing and I think it is healthy and courageous to do so. If people dont agree or dont understand that then why attack a girl who has just bared her soul in this way?? Its hardly fucking funny!!??

Anyway I have great admiration Sexy Jasmine, Lysondra and others who have come from these crazy nightmares and are sane functioning members of society. You dont need to run for senate or change the world, you have saved yourself and you should be so fucking proud of that.

Jasmine did your grandpa know what had happened to you? I bet he died with love and prayers for you in his heart and you should not regret how you reacted to the trauma you went through.

Sorry for all the cursing, I started off reading this thread with tears in my eyes and by the last page I was just confused and upset. People can be so ugly and weird. I dont understand it.
