I was "brought up" stripperwise to wear a garter and rubberband the money. The bottom line is that it is harder to yank it off of you this way; also because no man was supposed to touch your thigh, so you effectively had the money in a place 'out of reach'. Of course this applies almost nowhere now, but I am so in the habit of having it on my leg that I would feel weird without it. A purse..the reason it would bother me personally to have a purse is that I can't have the money on me all the time. I would have to set it down sometime to dance. If we are packed and I am dancing constantly (I dunno if this happens any more, but it used to) I would be worried that I would leave the purse somewhere, or that someone would snatch it. When I am dancing I am focusing all my attention on my customer; I don't want to be worrying about where my cash is.

I always just feel better when I have twenties showing. I am honestly a bit nervous with bigger bills than that on the outside, just because I am used to cheap asses saying that they think I don't need a dance because I already have money..LOL. But I did seem to do better with the money showing. Of course, it could also be because I just felt better about it.

I'm interested to see what others have to say after trying different things. Keep the thread going!

20's showing... maybe a 50. Never just ones. I don't give a damn if it looks tacky- it seems to attract custies and I'm there to make money, so...

Our customers are into covering you with money, especially when you're shakin' it, so sometimes you just end up covered in money for a bit.

Agreed! I'll never put 1's, 5's or 10's on the top. I don't want to show off anything less than $20. That defeats the purpose IMO!
