I'll have to keep the only rewarding good behavior thing in mind..

at my club basically ALL the money is stage money, so i do. if you're watching & not paying, you are wasting space for someone who IS intending on tipping me.

at my club we also walk down the bar & through the club greeting customers & most of them tip after stage sets. i always feel bad when there are losers tipping one dollar for an entire set at the rail & no room for the dudes tipping fives & tens for stage at the bar.

at the most i have given maybe six dances in one night. usually i do anywhere from zero to two.

Ok, this is my first post, so Hi! I have been on this site for a short time now & have been casually reading through the posts, but THIS ONE, MADE ME comment!

I have been dancing off & on for 11 years now. I was gone for 6 yrs & made my Grand Come-back a little over a month ago. I work at a club in Riverside County, CA (I don't wanna mention the name or anything.. at least not yet! ;) ). I have never seen anything like what I see at this club. It's a topless bar that claims the title (incorrectly) of Gentlemen's Club, when in reality, it's a Sports bar with half naked women wandering around.. HOWEVER... for some reason, the guys DON'T come to the stage AT ALL! They do if asked/told to, guilted to, or there is no where else to sit. THEN.. they DON'T TIP!!! AND to make matter's even worse, the common practice of this place is, once you are done onstage, you walk the room & ask for your tip from the custies at the tables! So, now.. I'm possibly dancing a 2 song set, for NO MONEY on the stage & then having to BEG for it from them personally! On top of that, if you are sitting with a customer, every few minutes some other girl is coming by for a dollar! I understand, make your money, but isn't it still considered Rude to walk in on a dancer/custie convo?? At least I thought it was!!

Sooo.. did I miss a memo or something?? Is this crap going on anywhere else!! I am used to $1k nights, EVERY NIGHT, from my clubs in Dallas! Here?? I haven't even broken $200!!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!?! I know we're in a recession, but Jeez!! If you're that broke, stay the hell OUT of the strip club!!!

I haven't gotten to the "embarrassing them" point yet, but recently I've started asking, "And did you come in PLANNING on spending money?" When they say yes, I introduce myself with a huge smile & sit down. I am not ashamed to admit that I am there for the money! It's a STRIP CLUB!! I am not there to meet guys!! >:(

(Sorry... kind of went on a little rant there for a minute... Little things in clubs really annoy me these days... **blush**) :-[

this is exactly how my club works, & i make about $200/night. it's like a sports bar with a stage & girls in underwear chillin' with the customers, drinking, talking...there is no way anyone gets paid to sit here & almost all the money we make is off "tip walks".

i hate having to talk to so many douchebags. i feel like they're holding a carrot in front of me & i have to do comply to get it.

If I was really irritated by a customer that wasn't tipping, (especially during a kick-ass set), when I was done with me set, I'd step down off the stage and place a dollar in front of the non-tipper and say, "here ya go, sweetie. I think you need this more than I do," and give a sympathetic wink.
Typically they'd be so embarrassed they would not take the dollar and the next girl going up would get it.

I'm pretty level headed usually. If I'm on stage and they're sitting at the tip rail they're not tipping I'll politely point out the sign in front of them that states 'reserved for tippers only' and smile. If they look embarrassed, ask where to get tips out and stuff and get up and leave to get them, that's the end of it.

If they try to tell me that they'll tip when I'm naked, I'll just get up and move away, and be really sweet or naughty to the next guy that tips.

If they just sit there and smirk I'll just signal the bouncer and get him to make him move, then before the bouncer gets there I'll move on to the next guy or dance some more - I feel it makes it look less like I'm being a money hungry bitch and more like 'well it's just the rules, don't like them? get out' (ok so I'm money hungry, but it's all about marketing right?)

If it's busy though I'll just go to the guys with money and be really giggly and naughty - that gets the money on the stage quicker than if I drop my panties first thing haha!

Hell yes I shame non-tippers!!! Shitty tippers too.....handing me a DOLLAR after a $20 full grind lapdance is completely unacceptable. Like seriously, would you tip a waitress a dollar on a $20 check? If you try to give a dancer a tip like that then you deserve to be embarrassed and ridiculed. The only exception where I let it slide is if it's someone like a young broke kid that spent his LAST $20 on getting a lapdance.
