What I don't get is.... how many of you can pull off moves like that? Seriously.

I get what you are saying, Miss Teaze. I do appreciate her strength. I can actually do all those moves so I understand what it takes. I think that for alot of us who didn't go gaga over the video it has more to do with style preference than anything else. Some of us just like more a more artistic performance over a strictly athletic one that's all.

watching all these videos has really shown me that there is a lot more interpretation & art to pole dancing that i had previously thought. nobody really does pole tricks at my work, other than basic spins...

i think i'm gonna sign up for a pole class now. i can do a few tricks, but i have zero flow & finesse.

Like no one has every drank and pole danced before?::)

I haven't, it's dangerous. But we're not talking about that- we are talking about instructing others while drinking.

Wow..that first one is exactly what I like and want to be able to do..I like a lot of "tricks"/fitness..but also incorporated in a dance..have it flow well and look pretty..prolly comes from my dance background tho...

I love that first one too. It may even be all time my favorite. Even though the second women teaches pole she has the very sexy stripper thing going on. I suspect she was on the stage at one time. They are different yet both have the nice flow and attention to small details that I prefer over the athletic stuff seen in the OP vid and in others like say KT Coates for example. They are accomplished pole dancers for sure but the styles are worlds apart. To each his or her own though :)

EXACTLY!!!! It was NOT a class. We're friends, I was LIVING with her. We were goofing around one night.

Like I said Nakita, get your facts straight and get the whole story before you go making assumptions.

Wow Nicole...

And I truly thought you were a professional yourself!!! :0

1. I was not drunk instructing, I had a few glasses of wine while playing with a frend.

2. It was in my own home at 1am (read the credits)

3. NEVER...NEVER...NEVER have I instructed a class with 1 oz of alcohol in my system!

4. Miss Tease was staying in my home at the time and it was a PRIVATE POLE PLAY..not a CLASS.

5. You have NEVER drank at work? I call you on that one. Remember girls you work with talk! Most have phone cameras...and some actually have videos!!

Do you honestly think that I would instruct a class drunk?? Get a brain! You really have no respect for others in your field, do you?

I am one of "THE" most safety conscious people in the business!

WOW I am truly shocked, as the only comments I have EVER made about you were positive...relating to your performances and abilities.

I have always referred to you in a positive manner, promoted what you do...on every forum I am on, including my own!!

Maybe I should start telling students who come to me and ask ?'s about your classes that you are a pretentious cranky ex stripper who has it out for anyone who makes an effort to do good for themselves...cause she thinks she is god on the pole, and presumes all the others do not follow common sense rules!!!!

After this thread....Is that a bit more accurate that than what I have been saying....that you are an incredible performer, a very nice person who genuinely wants to help women learn to love the pole like she does!!!

I never in a million years expected this from you!

Put yourself that high on a pedestal...someone will make a point of watching you fall flat on your face! You are in the public eye now...but with that comes the fact that people want others to see you as you really are!

Wow Nicole...

1. I was not drunk instructing.
I didn't say you were instructing. I said you encourage "drink an pole" behavior. If that is not the case, then don't put a clip on You Tube that your friend will admit that you guys were drinking.

3. NEVER...NEVER...NEVER have I instructed a class with 1 oz of alcohol in my system!
Good to hear, that makes me happy. I really didn't think that you did.

4. Miss Tease was staying in my home at the time and it was a PRIVATE POLE PLAY..not a CLASS.
Still was on your You Tube page for your biz.

5. You have NEVER drank at work? I call you on that one. Remember girls you work with talk! Most have phone cameras...and some actually have videos!!
NEVER. You are welcome to check the hundreds of clubs that I have been to. You will find video of me drinking water or maybe a red bull. I never drink at work. Yes, it costs me $ but I still have my reputation and my safety!

Do you honestly think that I would instruct a class drunk??
No, in fact I never said that you instructed classes drunk. You need to go back through the thread.

I am one of "THE" most safety conscious people in the business!
I used to believe that. But you're not if you are on a pole drunk.

Maybe I should start telling students who come to me and ask ?'s about your classes that you are a pretentious cranky ex stripper!!!!
Apparently you already do since your students like to attack my school!

Put yourself that high on a pedestal...someone will make a point of watching you fall flat on your face! You are in the public eye now...but with that comes the fact that people want others to see you as you really are!

Hey if being sober puts me on a pedestal, then so be it. I didn't say you were bad for drinking, just don't put it on your pole lesson You Tube page. Keep it between you and your friends! Or, get them to keep their mouths shut on not tell everyone that you were drunk. That's all I am saying!

MissTeaze
09-02-2008, 11:03 AM
Actually I never said we were drunk. I said we had a few drinks.

Again. I never attacked YOUR school. I even said in the other thread I wasn't attacking your school.

Get the fuck over yourself, seriously. Your not nearly as hot of shit as you think you are.

Now that I have gone back in the thread...this is your quote:

we are talking about instructing others while drinking

Nicole you have outright stated that I was instructing others while drinking!

My Youtube page is my PERSONAL PAGE. It is for Alena Downs.....Not PoleJunkies. I post videos of myself, my students, my assistant instructors...I used to have videos of my dogs, my husband, and my daughters science video on there too..but I guess that would not be appropriate on a "Personal Youtube Page"!

I stated I drank a bottle of wine that night! I didnt say I taught intoxicated. Nowhere in the video does it state there was alcohol involved in the teaching of this video. It was mentioned here...on a forum for dancers, who are all supposedly supportive of each other!

As for my students bashing your school...may I point out that she WAS PREVIOUSLY a student of mine. She is currently a friend...not a student!

I am really confused as to your attack to begin with!

That being said....someone please lock this thread before it gets worse.

I will not post again, as I do not want this thread hijacked anymore, and I hope everyone can enjoy the videos on this thread.

Nicole you have outright stated that I was instructing others while drinking!
No I didn't and you have to rewind even further in the thread to my first comment to see how all this started. It was purely a response from Miss Tease saying that you guys were under the influence and pole dancing. You cannot fault me for thinking that those that "drink and pole" are being dangerous. I strongly discourage it.

It was mentioned here...on a forum for dancers, who are all supposedly supportive of each other!
I have been supportive of you even when I was just in LA and they were talking about you and I stood up for you.

As for my students bashing your school...may I point out that she WAS PREVIOUSLY a student of mine. She is currently a friend...not a student!
No matter, you have others that have done the same and proudly announce their commitment to you as students.

I am really confused as to your attack to begin with!
I never attacked you. In fact I am only defending myself from your attack.

Simply stated, alcohol and pole dancing don't mix. IMO/:O

Obviously poling and drinking could be very dangerous. I know a woman who was drunk off her ass on tequila and nearly broke her neck.

But if you were to put a mandatory breathalizer on the pole in any club in the USA, there wouldn't be very many tricks, lol!

I myself broke my little toes when landing, on my birthday one night while drunk and rolling, but my foot never did lift very well after that motorcycle accident. Now I know better than to pole when I am actually drunk, but after just a couple drinks, sure, why not?

There's nothing wrong with relaxing with a former student/friend outside of the formal classes, and having a little wine or whatever and playing around.

But let's please get back to the cool pole trick videos...
