So after hours of looking, nothign else even came close, and no other stores had the purse to ask about layaway. The boutique is too small to do layaway, but it was onsale, and the price itself was cheaper than what i was originally told.

So 1200bucks(1 hard weeks earnings, though i didn't get to take out for taxes) and i now have passed that rite.

Never. Again. I don't like spending a lot of money. It makes me shake and have panic attacks. Plus, it took them like a half hour to count out the moolah!(one sales lady was really sweet, but hte other kept giving me the hairy eye and making a point of saying how expensive htings were) So next time I have the drools for something, i now have a sufficient basis to put the bad taste in my mouth and make me forget it.

And i have my pretty. Yay!

My ass belongs to the club for the next month or so till i feel i've made the money up.

My reg gave me a Gucci bag the other night. I dont know if it's real. It wasn't in a dust cover bag or anything and the handles are covered in plastic wrapping. That's making me think it's fake??

It tends to be a rule of thumb that if the handles are wrapped in plastic/tissue paper, it's fake.

I wonder why that is.

YOu bought it?! I was just going to say, you have great taste in purses. I really like it.

And, you counted out the money in cash? That's awesome.

Yay! You got your bag! I wonder if the sales ladies weren't really expecting it to sell and wanted to keep the bag for themselves? Hence the comments about it being so expensive and taking so long to count out your money.

Photos please? I'd love to see this (now) famous bag:).

No idea, but every fake I've ever come in contact with has always had wrapped handles. No real purse ever does. It has a dustbag, usually.

I'm looking for my camera but its run away.

I'm kinda scary today-off day and all, but i gotta show it off.

I got it in this rich, sueded purple, so its a different color than in the link but its sooooooooooo luxurious and stunning and works with literally 9/10 of my closet.

I just couldnt resist when it was 500$ cheaper than i expected!

Yup!

Not to mention all my handbags have came in elaborate wrapping paper (from the store) in the box then in the store bag. (Coach is really good about that, BTW). Even the tiny lil Coach keychains and charms and lanyards they still wrap them pretty then box them then bag em.

The only time it hasn't came with the wrapping paper and bag was at the PX on base, but they still come with dust bags and original boxes.
