Really though, my hubby never goes to clubs because of the insiders perspective he has.

That is his story and he is sticking to it.

Interesting, yet another reason to stop spending money on strippers. In fact I had pretty much stayed away from strip clubs for a couple years until I met this lady on a boys night out.

I married my regular :D so there's always hope. Or it was a one in a million and you need to keep giving her your money.

:rotfl:

Yeah. People hit the lottery too. :)

What do you do when you realize you've fallen in love with your ATF?

A. Keep the money flowin' cuz it feels good
B. Transfer all your money to another bank and lose the bank account numbers.
C. Find another girl

The one time it happened, I started seeing another dancer as well to rub off some of the affection on. It did not quite work, as I still did love her. There was a long series of events that occurred including her one day saying the same thing un-provoked when we were out together. And then four months of something and nothing. And then 5 years of me avoiding her and for the most part not seeing each other and then her calling me, hanging out again for another few months messing around and then me breaking it off, but I'm sure the story is not over... But it was fun in parts.

:( Sad:(

I had the general idea, but I always guessed what QFT specifically stood for. Best I could come up with was Quite Fucking True.

you're stupid enough to fall in love with a stripper and incapable finding real love with a normal woman like every other normal person on the planet.... you are the kind of guy who thinks normal women just aren't good enough.

So you're saying strippers aren't normal.....interesting position to stake out.

In the eyes of the PL they are not normal.

Idiots. To PLs, strippers are better than "normal" women. Look at the context. Don't you have some strippers to go spend money on?

And no. We are not normal. We are better than normal!

One more
G. Realize you could be leasing a Porshe GT3 and a timeshare in Hawaii for the same money your spending each month
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Hmmm, haven't seen a post from OP in a while. I wonder if he chose "G" & is now leasing a Porsche, and enjoying a mimosa from his timeshare balcony, watching the sun rise as I type this. What, with many stocks/mutual funds falling over 40% in the last yr., getting a car that depreciates by "only" 33% in 1st year looks good. With drop in real estate prices, OP probably got the best deal in yrs. on timeshare. 8)

::) Sooo, weeks without verbal abuse, driving a Porsche, living in WB timeshare- do you think OP is feeling "better than normal" now???

Then it shouldn't be some big shock that we all fall in love with you and want to marry you.

lol, i can't remember the other thread started by the op, i think it might be in blue, but he actually came to his senses and started with a new ATF, stirred some drama at his club, but it helped him to get it in perspective, i was actually sorta proud of him for taking the advice from the board, I bet he keeps more grounded...

Well then you should see me when I wake up in the morning. I'm pretty normal then, and I'm sure all other strippers are too!

The problem with the PLs is they fall in love with us after an hour plus of hair and make up, and putting on our work persona. They wouldn't likely love us as the people we truly are.

I often think SW members (and maybe strippers in general) don't truly appreciate the power (especially for a middle age or old PL who doesn't get it anywhere else) of having a young attractive naked woman close to you. In many ways it can be argued it's the most powerful force on earth (Freudian).

And while this force can be very good for you (gets PLs to spend money on you), it can also be bad (makes them fall in love). These 2 things cannot be separated out....the question I see, "how I can get them to come in again and again but not fall for me?" is awfully naïve. Not possible.

I have a good friend who married not one but TWO Brazilian dancers [#'s 2 & 3].

Man, what a glutton for punishment.

He's now on wife #4. [LOL]

To be VERY real, I know an awful lot of dancers [as a bouncer, customer, floor manager, all sorts of ways], and it seems to me I always liked them best when they let their guard down and relaxed. You know, dropped the act [if any] and were just themselves.

That's just me though. I also tend to think dancers look their best in their street cloths, either coming in or leaving from work.

I agree, young dancers often tap something fundamental with men that extends beyond sexuality and I don't think they understand how 'real' it can feel, even for seasoned SCJ.

I think this thread by GenWar captures what might be going on.

It is incumbent upon the junkie to keep his shit together. There is a fundamental difference in the roles. The stripper is working. She is trying to make money. In a perfect world there shouldn't be any SS but her ethics shouldn't be held to a higher standard than anyone else in sales. It is up to the customer be a knowledgeable consumer and to sift through it.

I wonder if there is any liability in a case where a customer "falls in love" with a dancer and spends a huge amount of money on her. I am sure that there is plenty of depressed, senile, or mentally unbalanced individuals that can sweet-talked out of tens of thousands of dollars. In such a case, it would be likely that the guy's wife, sibling, son, daughter, estate, heir, etc. would go after the club and the dancer. No, I don't think that it is likely that the customer's family would win, but stranger things have happened.

Have you ever heard of someone successfully suing a dancer or a club because she "took advantage" of a customer?

Anna Nicole?

Edit - OBVIOUSLY not the exact same thing, but quite similar.. Anna Nicole Smith just took it to another level (Beats chest and says "represent") ;D
