"Frrozen Haute Chocolate," a blend of 28 cocoas, including 14 of the most expensive and exotic from around the globe. Yeah, the dessert alone costs $25,000.000.
What. Where do I get this? Not that I have 25k. But I might have to rob a bank or something. *whistles innocently*

Another interesting link (http://web.archive.org/web/20031001190442/www.tdcj.state.tx.us/stat/finalmeals.htm)- The famous list from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Some of the more interesting requests are 253, 248, 209, and 157 (made me feel bad for the guy's mother).
.
No one asked for Pepsi? Or RC Cola? Oh, and they weren't allowed cigarettes or beer either. I mean, what's the point of no cigarettes or beer before being executed? They'll get a DUI in hell? Lung cancer is an issue for all life stages?

The 14 exotic chocolates alone make this a "must have" for a last meal. Loves me some chocolates!

"Meals to Die For" by Brian D. Price Tells you each person on death row, their request, what they actually received, and their last words.
I'm am obsessed with food so yes, I'm one of the creepers who has this book. It's pretty reduntant though they all seem to want cheeseburgers fries and a million sodas, like someone said earlier. (And obviously alcohol isn't an option.)

I've decided that all my friends and I are going to have a 'last meal' party. We're all going to eat exactly what we would were it our last meal.
We're also taking the next day off to be sick.

I'd have a bottle of Opus 1, a bottle of Moet (what dude it's my last meal I want to get wasted lol), Beef jerkey (don't ask it's my favorite), oysters barbella, lobster, steamed spinach with butter, a sweet patotato, and wisconsin custard for desert, and perhaps a scoop of blue moon ice cream as well. I'd also need a pack of Capris because I would have to take several smoke breaks to digest my giant last meal.
Off topic, did you guys ever hear this story its totally true : this guy committed some sort of terorist attack in Iraq, and then tried to kill himself with a tablet of poison (forget what kind now). Well anyway, he ate so much because he had a giant "last meal" that he just vommited profusely from the poison and was arrested . Serves him right!

^^^
Lol I think it was arsenic. He ate so much that instead of the arsenic killing him, he just started barfing up his giant last meal and didn't die from the arsenic at all.

I'd want a supersonic jalapeno cheeseburger with onion rings and tots and chedda' peppers.
A margarita pizza from parizees (sp) in denver and the bread oil from the place we ate at for SW fest.
I'd want some brisket and sausage and green bean casserole that my mom makes and some fish and vinaigrette made by my uncles.
By this point I'd totally have to purge but then I'd want some magmud and enchilladas and a constant supply of chips and salsa....I think that's about it.

Ok, first of all I would need some time to prepare for my last meal as my stomach is pretty small and I would need to stretch it to be able to eat all this food.
As a starter I want the tower thingy from TGI Fridays with the JD chick and battered prawns and the potato skins filled with cheese and bacon.
Then as a main course I want a steak, sirloin, rare. I also want a chicken breast. Both the chicken and the steak is coated in cream peppercorn sauce. I want real chips from the bistro next to my house, they make the best chips ever, (I think you guys call them fries, I'm not talking about potato chips.) I want cauliflower cheese, cabbage, fried in butter, and peas.
Then for dessert I'll have some dime bar cake from Ikea, honestly it's the best cake EVER! And I don't even like cake. I'll have that with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
I know it's a lot of food but it's my last meal, it's the only time in my life I don't have to worry about getting fat so I'm gonna take advantage.

If I knew I was going to die, I wouldn't have an appetite. I would probably just be swallowing my tears.
For some reason, that is such a sad thought that it made me cry.

A thick T-bone, some decent mashed potatoes and real gravy, and some green beans, some corn with butter. Also some steamed broccoli smothered with butter. With 4 amaretto sours, 2 margaritas and 6 lines if the best cocaine.
Last meal. Done. Thanks for coming out.

Lys - Try looking for a Sarsparella Spider =Root beer float. Also there used to be a bakery on Brunswick st in Melbourne called 'Garcon's' that did an awesome savoury pumpkin pie. Its gone now though.
Ok, I want sweet and spicy agedashi tofu and plain Inari with ginger and wasabi.
A real Thai green curry with tofu, broccoli, bamboo and lotus shoots, lots of basil and kefir lime and Jasmine rice.
Vietnamese rice paper rolls with tofu and vietnamese mint and spicy peanut dipping sauce from the little place in St kilda.
Fried spring rolls with fresh lettuce, mint and sweet chili dipping sauce.
Fresh warm Roti bread, lots of it.
A fresh raspberry mojito with loads of mint to go with the asian food.
Taco's with loads of sour cream and jalepeno's.
My mum's roast potatoes with my ex husbands mushroom, cream, brandy and dijon sauce and green salad with balsamic dressing.
A medium boiled egg on well buttered sourdough toast.
White bread toast with butter and vegemite.
A latte from Roy's in brunswick.
Blanched green peas and broccolini with butter, fresh chili and pecorino shavings.
Super fresh, locally grown mango's (Hope I'm in a queensland prison).
A mountain of super sweet raspberries.
A slice of sugar pie with unsweetened whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
Chinese custard tarts.
Duc'do truffles.
Home made lemon and white chocolate sorbet from the place on Lygon st.
My dad's apple and blackberry pie.
Bottle of Chandon brewery 2002 shiraz.
Camel light cigarettes.
All the people I love to share it with me.

Not QUITE the same. Sarsaparilla in Aus is a bit more...mm... licoricey than American Rootbeer... I'd get a Barq's Ice cream float.

Nope. People look at you like you're a fucking nutter because you put pumpkin into a pie. It doesn't go in pies, apparently.

I'm with everyone who chose the traditional comfort food...mac & cheese, greens with pork fat, fried chicken...hell, even steak is comforting to me. It's interesting to see what's comforting to others. I knew someone once who had to have a Big Mac whenever she was down. Not my choice but it always seemed to make her feel better.

Several bottles of dom perignon ( or other equally indulgent champagne) served with "Frrozen Haute Chocolate," a blend of 28 cocoas, including 14 of the most expensive and exotic from around the globe. Yeah, the dessert alone costs $25,000.000.
After eating and drinking that, I will probably wished I had died if the governor signs the pardon after all. Champagne makes me soooooooo hungover and sick the next day.
I am so sad cause I was looking for an article for you. there is a dessert at Serendipity III in NYC (where I went when I was a wee lass) and its 25 g's. Its sprinkled with gold flakes. AND THEN I FOUND THIS:

I heart Melbie. Fell in love with it during my 6 days there last year. As much as I've traveled, few places where I've felt so at home.
So far from NYC though... :'(

last meal would have to be filet mignon cooked medium rare, a little on the rare side - glass of the BEST merlot or cabernet - roasted asparagus - kimchee - brown rice - lobster tail - grilled jumbo shrimp - spider roll (appetizer) - and to end it all, drambuie to sip on while i wait out my last moments.
i don't think i could really eat that much in one sitting but if i'm about to die, why the hell not, lol
