Hi :). I am determined to become a cam girl, im wanting to start on myfreecams and pretty soon! i have done loads of research and read loads of threads on this and finaly decided to make an account.. I have also been on watching myfreecams and have a pretty good idea how things work.. but my problem is that i just cant convince my partner that i live with that it is a good idea, He has it in his end that these girls have no respect for themselves are slutty ect ect and are no better than prostitutes. For me its not just the money thats apealing i also think it will help my confidence grow and i am serious about trying really hard and putting the effort in. I feel i am slowley getting there with him but dont feel he will ever be supportive, i am worried if it will effect my relationship and weather he will hold it against me? any advice would be greatly appriciated .. thanks girls xx

You should ask this question in the life support forum... but I will say this: If he's not comfortable with it now, he will NEVER be ok with it ever. So you need to ask yourself, is it worth ruining your relationship for this job? Because believe me, that's exactly what's going to happen.

Please do not wear baby oil, lotion, or anything slippery onstage. -_-

OMG - yes please! We got a gaggle of new girls in recently (club is on a hiring blitz) and now our stage and pole is all slippery - all the time! It is really, really dangerous (new girls!) - the club won't pay if there's an accident on-stage - it's all on the dancer. You don't want to slip and crack your own head open, and you sure as hell don't want anyone else to get hurt on-stage either!

Can't emphasize this enough - NO LOTION OR OIL. If you must use lotion, put it on the night before, and make sure that the lotion you use is not a sticky oily one! When you sweat, it'll come out through your pores. Just don't do it.

Water based lotions are the best to keep your skin smooth and moisturized but still allowing you to stick to the pole. I always apply when I get out of the shower to lock the moisture in. My skin stays smooth and I don't leave the pole or stage slippery.

What about body hair?
I'm in a liberal city and don't shave my armpits and some of my vagina..
I'd like a place to talk about that...

Body hair should be shaved! I've been in the biz for almost 10 yrs & have never met a man that enjoys pit hair on an entertainer -maybe trimmed bush, but not pit hair. Sorry, babe!

lol.... newgirl we are the same.... jezzzzzzz dnt know what to do if they dont hire me,.. i will have audition on Tuesday in London... omg! i never done this before but we never know till we try.... I am Asian filipino with dark complexion, black long hair 4'9" 98lbs even tho most people say that will be an advantage and people say that i am sexy and hot! i still worry about not getting hired. unless you are super confident in your own body then we all feel the same, its all in the mind. In my opinion if u get a lot of attention from men in the street on a normal day or on a night out then its no different as a stripper. Men know what they like and what they want and most of the time all we have to do is pay them a little attention and make them feel special and take their money hehehe. Good luck for ur audition, you'll be fine.

Not all clubs have a house mom, so some of the creature comforts you may have at your club at home may not be available. Pack extra medicinal items such as Advil, band-aids, deodorant, tampons, cosmetics, hair products, soap, shampoo, etc. Yes, even Fargo GO TO Walmart...but do you want to spend your profits on stuff you already have at home????

It takes work to learn people skills and to dance takes a lot of work also.

Hi all! I have never danced before but want to start. I'm totally new to all of this and don't even know what one does in an audition. Could someone link me some information or message me. I just joined this site so I'm not entirely sure how to use it most efficiently yet.

I joined a long time ago, but just recently(like today) just came back on. I feel like my account is limited on here though. Its saying I am unable to join other threads.

Sunflowerdream, where are you located? An audition you usually just dance for a song or two at most to see how you move and how your body looks. In other places it can be as short as 30 seconds or it can be just a strip down to see your body.

I've been dancing with the idea of dancing for about 4 years now for financial, but also some personal reasons. Im a petite black girl without much pole experience but I do have dancer training from over the years (ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip hop) at this point I don't have many tricks accept my dancing skills and I know style of dancing varies between mostly white clubs and mostly black clubs.
Anyone with experience at both type of clubs, do you think I'd be successful incorporating choreography and some of my ballet/contemporary moves into my routines until I get the hang of the pole?

Trained dancers need to focus on moving as slow as possible, as moving faster and 'dancing' too much doesn't look sexy. If it feels like you're moving too slow, you're doing it right. Your movements on stage should be smooth and fluid. You would have practiced this in your ballet and contemporary training. If you're at an urban club the hip hop moves would be appropriate, especially twerking.

Here is a good basic pole dancing routine I like. This type of routine is really all you need, and even then, not that perfect. Just slow sensuous moves.

I rub Vitamin E oil onto the stretchmarks on my hips and breasts nightly and it helps a bit. You can also use green concealer if you have red stretchmarks, yellow for purple, and normal concealer for clear stretchmarks.

Those with the front secure clasp like this: https://www.leatherandheels.com/discolite-709.html

are so much better than open toe shoes IMO. https://julbie.com/6-clear-black-platform-slide-heels/

I kept launching my open toe shoe in the public hahaha and having to collect the shoe right after difficult pole moves. Tend to stretch out over time (in my experience) I was so embarrassed picking the shoe up on stage from a customers chair. Thank god nobody was in that chair each time. Boots are awesome IMO.

I went through a massive knee high boot phase and felt like a queen.

Hi all! I'm new to the forum, but somewhat not that new for the "adult" sector.. due to my profession, I've been trying to understand better what are some of the dancing techniques of some strippers. Now, I'm actually willing to join a dance club just for learning that... but honestly, I'm not willing that much to be in public.. just to perform and get some of the dancing techniques.. does anyone know a place around Alberta (Canada) where I can join and get better on my stripper dancing techniques?

It depends where you are dancing - e.g. Australia is very different to the US, and even clubs within a country can change dramatically!

Hi All,
I am part of a joint study involving SJSU, WLU (Canada) and MSU and we are attempting to develop a comprehensive understanding of how those who participate in online sex-related content production manage their work identity in relation to their “real-life” identity and deal with the implications of the stigma associated with sex work. The end goal it to combat the negative stigmatization of participants.

We make money on that stigma. We really don't want or need your pity. bye!
