I been wanting to get circle lenses but I'm doubting I'll wear them at work. I'm asian but I look far too young for my own good and I think they'll do more harm than good in my case. They'll be great for cosplaying though.
I want to get normal colored contacts but so many people are against asian girls having anything but black hair and brown eyes. Meh.
I think it would be extremely beneficial for caucasian girls though. I can totally see guys being drawn to their eyes and not quite know why.;)

The real question is... how do they look in blacklight?

Oh! And if you haven't discovered it yet Clear Care solution is absolutely fabulous. I've been using Aquify for a while and just found Clear Care... just good good stuff.

Hey Blink, There's also ACLens and the Lensaholics forum where you can see real people pictures of colored contacts. I've heard Soliticas are great. Also Waicon and Elegance lenses are really realistic.
Yep Clear Care is known on both forums as the best solution you can buy. Just make sure you let it neutralize for a full 6 hours (overnight). I still use Aquify as rewetting drops. A few people have reported good things about ultrasonic lens cleaners but I've found my holy grail with Clear Care.

Imported lenses are expensive! I want to get Elegance dark blues but they cost about $80 per lens. How much did you pay for your Soliticas (if you don't mind me asking).

*lust*-I don't have soliticas that's probably my next venture but they were 80 a pair last I checked though it depends on if you get nt or chrome or charme...I'll see if I can find you the link I'm on my phone so it'll probably be when I can get to a computer the ones in the picture were 57 for the pair including shipping at thedollyeye.com they took a while toget here but the contacts are as promised...international shopping is a blower cause you just wait and wait... thanks for the link and the forums... I'll have to check out the ellegance lenses...
Miss Jessica- I don't know if you were refering to the ones I received or just any in this thread.. But if you have dark eyes like me it's nice to finally find a decent pair that shows up and doesn't look too weird ;]
I like the ones in the pics the OP put up. I'm still planning on buying a pair, as soon as my bills are all paid for the month. Yay.

Thanks Blink for the link! I think I came across her ultrasonic cleaner review before but I didn't look at her Solitica post. Wow she is pretty! And those do look really realistic. I may have to save up for some Solitica light blues too.
Its nice to review pictures on the forums before buying ($160 plus shipping for each pair) because even the different colors of brands seem to differ in shades. For example, Elegance light blues look way too vibrant and crazy (alien/zombie like) but the dark blues look perfect. I'm glad Solitica makes nice light blues.
I'm liking e-circlelens website. (The pictures are a great help there) And they're fairly cheap ($40+ per pair). I think I might start out with a pair of circle lens from there and report back my review on the site. The marie greens look pretty nice!

I had Natural touch grey, Waicon grey, and I mentioned before Solotica Quartzos. I want the Verde Marine too. I love all these brands, people think they're by real eyes all the time.

I love being able to see pictures prior to buying cause as long as the person has dark eyes like me it gives me a great idea of what it's gonna look like as opposed to those that just give a picture of the lens
You should def. apply to be a member of the lensaholics forum, there are tons of pictures and videos of all kinds of lenses. It's what started my contacts addiction...lol. I also have extremely dark eyes.

wow i really want them.
hrm....i just read that they're potentially worse for your eyes than regular contacts because the diameter's larger, which allows less oxygen to get to your eyes...can anyone confirm this?
Most soft contact lenses to my knowledge are at least somewhat breathable, so your eyes will still get some oxygen. However, like all contact lenses, DEFINITELY do not sleep wit these in.
I think these are cute, in a creepy sort of way. However, I have a weird eye colour and I probably wouldn't trade that to look like an anime girl.

huh, who knew gigantor eyes like mine were considered glamorous! lol they used to drive me nuts...i've always longed for the days of those sexy smexey smoldering deep set eyes. but i've learned to love my ginormous eyes as i get older, lol
the problem with mine is that my iris's are big, but my pupils are HUGE...like, people will stop mid conversation and stare and say "omg, you're pupils are gigantic!!!!" or "are you on something!?" lol
i don't even wear colored lenses anymore because the area that's clear for the pupil is too small and you can always see the colored part of the lense on my pupil, which looks weird.
but i do like some of the crazy designs they have (maybe for halloween or something) and they look cute on many of those girls
also, my regular lenses are larger in diameter than what i've seen.

So...any updates? Has anyone tried these? I keep seeing makeup tutorials w girls wearing these lenses on youtube. I'm just really worried bc when I google them, one of the first things that turns up is how bad they are (worse) for your eyes compared to normal lenses.

ok so I got some of these whilst i was living in Thailand last summer, i wear prescribed -4.50 contacts and so i got them with that. I LOVED them, i really like the cute asian look so i really went for it and nearly all the Thai girls wear them as it is. I wore them for about four months almost continually (they were monthlies and changed them as i should) yet would not recommend this at all! I'm pretty sure they damaged my eyes a little bit and should really have alternated with my regular UK prescribed pairs but i missed the look every time i didn't wear them, they're a bit addictive! they were about £20 for four pairs or something but every thing's pretty cheap in Thailand so that's not particularly relevant. i have pretty big green eyes as it is but wanted blue. They looked quite fake to be honest but i liked that, although no one was ever sure if they were real or not and i managed to convince people they were real if i felt like it :P
Anyway! I think they look amazing on and really make you look more appealing which is never a bad thing... and heres a photo (click for bigger) x x x
i am actually 19 but kind of enjoy making myself look about 12 ::)

I used to wear circle lenses all the time, and I definitely got lots of compliments on my eyes ... they don't glow under blacklight, and they pop really well in the club. I had grey and green (hazel eyes naturally) and did better with the green. However, they can look a little weird in 'real' lighting.
