^^Exactly.

Now excuse me, I have to go roll around in all the money I made during my happy hour show.

Notice how he/she doesn't ever respond to accusations of trolldom. Yeah, that pretty much seals the deal for me.
I avoid drama and taking shots at people... If I have nothing positive to say I typically don't say it

It seems that they always think newbies are trolls. And it seems that alot of people on here just like to be mean or cause drama:-\

she doesn't seem like a troll, she just seems like she's more from the happygiggles spectrum of stripping.

hmm, HG's been pretty scarce lately. She sure racked up a lot of posts for someone who only danced a couple weeks.

meh, I don't have a problem talking numbers. I wish more people would.

Right now I work 6 nights a week and an average week is anywhere from 2500-3000$. When I do my usual 4 nights a week, an average week is 1500-2000$.

Just a newbie's opinion here, so please don't get out yer guns...
I think that generally, if someone were to ask someone they weren't close to, in her club, what she made, yes that might border on rude. But I also think that sometimes the new girls are just asking for a ballpark starting point...to gauge how they are doing, if they need to hustle harder...I know I am curious as to what I can expect. I know income varies greatly between club/girl/region, whatever. But I think that if we can't talk openly about money here, where can we? I know I would never ask something like that with the intention of being rude...I don't think most others would either. If you prefer not to disclose what you make, then of course that's your right, but please don't shoot down the girls (as long as they're not trolls) who are just asking. This is supposed to be a safe place. I know I am afraid to ask certain things on here for hear of getting eaten alive by some.

Who thinks SharlaB is a troll? heehee.

i don't think she's a troll.
i think she's an immature newbie to dancing who's doing it for all the wrong reasons & has the mentality of a 15 year old.

If you already know that other variables fall into place with a girl making money, then why ask? You can't get a ballpark figure because everygirl is not the same. You may ask one of the lowest paid girls in your club for a ball-park figure..I hope you aren't just going to assume that because she only makes X/shift that you are doing "ok" if she's making around the same amount right?

Also, realize that A LOT, of dancers either overly exaggerate their earnings, or they low-ball what they are making. For me, I ALWAYS say I'm doing crappy. It keeps less drama for me...

You shouldn't be asking $$$ questions anywhere IMO. If you had an office job, it would be frowned upon to ask your co-workers what they make each hour. It's just rude regardless of the industry.

Nothing is wrong with asking questions BUT realize that Stripperweb has been up and running for like 7 years now. I'm pretty sure ANYTHING you wanna know, it's already been discussed. If it hasn't (which would be pretty rare) then ask your questions. Just realize that if it does rub people the wrong way (like me sometimes lol) then they will let you know. Hopefully from the critizism you can take what they said (both the positives and the negatives) and put it to use. :)

I know... I didn't even ask specific people... If it's too personal, they could just close the window

you'll learn, sharlab - this site is full of cranky bitches

that's life.

it doesn't help you for two reasons:

1) if everyone else makes more, you feel like a loser
2) knowing what they make doesn't make you any more

ExoticSummer, I appreciate your answer and the tone of it.
Ya know, if a newbie question bugs some of you, then just ignore it and let someone else answer it. There's no need to be bitchy. I'm just trying to learn and feel things out, and those girls who are new on here are doing the same thing. Remember when YOU were new? People are bound to ask questions that have already been asked...they are bound to, and again, if it bugs you then just leave them alone. They aren't asking to piss you off or annoy you. If you can't be nice then don't respond. If all it takes to offend you and bring your claws out, is a harmless question from a naive newbie (like me) then put your big girl panties on and get happy in the same ones you got mad in.
One poster said if I knew that different factors affected earning potential, then why ask. I ask because I might still be curious, after taking all those things into consideration, how a certain girl somewhere might do. And I don't see how asking about earnings on here as being the same as asking someone in your office. If you read my post, I said that I would not ask a girl in my club how much she earned. I do consider that rude, but here on this forum, where discussions are supposed to be safe and fairly anonymous, I would think it would be ok. Again, if you are bothered by the question, DON'T ANSWER IT. To the girls who feel the need to be snotty, we weren't talking to you anyway. Oh, and posting a smiley at the end of a snotty comment doesn't make it "nice". Mmmm-K? :)

Ooh bitchy much. Listen, you may not like my response, but do you really think I care? You asked a question and I answered it the best of my ability. I didn't think I came off as snotty at all. You didn't understand why people were feeling the way they were, and I explained why?

Now, why is my comment considered snotty because (like exotic summer) I said basically the same thing..that there are other variables. Listen, working on your sales and hustle styles is what's going to make you your $$$$. Not trying to figure out what the rest/majority of the girls (whether at your club OR online) are making.

I also want to make it quite clear that just because you may not agree with what I, or any other member on this site has to say does not make us bitchy, or snotty, or a no-it-all. I've been on this site for 6 years and I've helped tons of newbies alike. If you are gonna cry, bitch, and get an attitude over a simple forum posting then maybe this site isn't for you! Cause I guarant-fucking-tee you will not agree with 90% of what you read on here...

/The end ;D
